"...shut up." he growled.

"I am a valuable asset to Mistress." he told her.

"She's kept me around for the longest of anyone here." he said.

"...she loves me." he continued.

"Why else would I be here?" he asked her.

"Not that I expect a demon to understand love." he then spat.

Azari nodded.

"Of course." he replied, as they heard the other man's footsteps head off.

The man made his way to where the demon was... where Lilim was, and sighed as he saw her.

"All right." he said.

"Let's... let's get this over with." he mumbled.

It was clear he was dreading this.

Azari followed the woman, smirking along the way.

But he then sighed.

"I don't think he realises JUST how thin the ice he treads on is." he told her.

"How close IS he to being discarded, anyway?" he asked her.

"Merely curious." he then assured her.

Immediately, he found himself scared.

"N-nobody, Mistress!" he exclaimed.

"I-I'm sorry, Mistress!" he apologised.

"It won't happen again, Mistress!" he assured her.

Azari just chuckled.

"Looks like the little wretch momentarily forgot his place in the food chain here." he told the woman.

Ryker just laughed.

"Good!" he replied.

"That's good!" he said.

"Anyway, eat up." he told him.

"Eat your fill and we'll sleep well tonight!" he declared.

He winced upon hearing what his task would be.

He looked away slightly, but then sighed.

"...yes..." he said, before pausing.

"Yes, Ma'am, consider it done." was all he said further, before starting to turn away to leave.

The other male there, Azari, just smirked.

"With pleasure, Ma'am." he said, looking at the one that had just arrived.

He... did not look happy.

He looked slighted, he looked hurt... and he looked like he wanted to say something.

Azari's smirk grew that much smugger as he saw this, and the two of them started to walk.

"N... Wh..." the other male stammered.

"What about me, Mistress?" he asked the female.

"Very true." he agreed.

"It seems things are finally coming to fruition for you, Ma'am." he told her.

It was at that point that they were interrupted by someone that they both held contempt for... but he was kept around, anyway.

"Mistress." he said.

"I've come to inform you that your lunch is ready, and your usual table has been prepared." he told her.

The one standing over her just smirked.

"Much easier than the demon." he said.

"But you are merely human, I suppose." he then sighed.

"Makes things simpler for us." he went on with a shrug.

"You are one HELL of a useful tool." he continued.

"And were surprisingly simple to kidnap."

Hal looked to be fighting this.

Fighting with all his will.

But unfortunately, it seemed like his will was being overpowered by whatever Erica had done.

"....ngh..." he grunted.

"Y... yes..." he then said.

"Your wish.... your wish... shall be.... granted."

Hal looked ready to take action against Erica right there and then... but something stopped him.

He found himself fighting internally with himself for a few seconds, before slumping forward some.

"...I..." he stammered.

"I was... created to receive orders." he told her.

"I was birthed to grant others wishes." he went on.

"I was created... to serve..."

Hal looked to Hazel, before looking at Erica.

"Excuse me?" he said.

"Hazel, what do you mean?" he asked the newcomer.

"What is going on?" he asked further.

"....Erica, why do you seem angry?" he then asked Erica.

Hal just sighed as Erica said what she did.

"....I am SO disappointed that we need to go on lockdown again so soon." he growled.

"But... yes. I can see where you're coming from." he admitted.

"And no, I have no idea WHAT is going on." he continued.

"Guess I have little choice, do I?" he then asked.

".....yeah." Zeke said.

"Fair enough." he muttered.

"I suppose that makes sense." he went on.

He then sighed as well, shaking his head and getting closer to Aimee.

"I'm sorry this is happening." he apologised.

"It seems things are starting to fall apart around here... again..."
