"I do." Ash assured her.

"Been there a few times before." he said.

"And telling the boss-man would be a huge help, actually." he then told her.

"Guy's name is Gustaff Gainsley." he then informed her. "Just so he knows what files and stuff to deal with." he continued.

"Thanks for this." he went on.

"I'll still need to visit him and confirm stuff, but this makes it I have a less stringent 'schedule' to do so." he chuckled.

'Maybe pop by the lab and see Kiah.' he then thought to himself.

Ash was silent for a moment, before looking at the one with him.

"Ah!" he exclaimed.

"Right." he said.

"This guy's wanted. Been on your guys' hit-list for a bit." he told her.

"Stumbled upon him during a hunt, so I took the initiative and nabbed him." he went on.

"Bringing him to holding here so you can deal with him proper."

Ash was silent as he heard all this... and then saw the person throw another fireball at her.

He caught it easily, and quashed it in his hand.

"You!" the attacked exclaimed.

"Stay out of this!" he told Ash.

"Wait... it might already be too late!" he then yelled, before Ash just sighed as the woman left the room.

"THANK YOU." he said loudly, slamming the door shut.

"Geez." he muttered.

"You okay?" he asked her.

"That looked like a nasty hit from that fireball." he commented.

Ash was confused for a moment as he swore he felt the extra tingle, but then shook his head.

"Ok, seriously." he said.

"The hell's going on!?" he exclaimed.

He looked to the one that had attacked the woman, and formed a black fireball in his hand.

"Try it again, and I'll show you how real a burn can feel." he told them.

"Are you all right?" he asked the woman.

"What's happening here?"

Hal was silent for a moment, and smiled slightly.

"I will." he said.

"Love you, too." he responded, before they ended the call.

He then relaxed in his chair, and nodded to himself.

He felt better.

About 10 minutes later, Ash showed up at Security with an unconscious man being dragged behind him.

He was let in, and he told Jake that he knew the way to holding.

He then started to make his way there, smirking a little.

"This should brighten the boss's day." he said, before hearing sounds of a scuffle in a nearby room.

"Ah... hm." Hal mumbled.

"To be honest... I'm not sure." he admitted.

"And by that, I mean that one of the incidents DOES involve one under the Triad's jurisdiction, but... we're not sure if they're acting of their own accord, or if they're even in their right mind." he explained.

"It's too early to think about legal actions, is what I'm saying." he told her.

"I'll explain further in person."

"All right." Hal responded.

"I know of a few places where we can get some proper authentic Japanese cuisine." he told her.

"Not a problem at all." he assured her.

He was then silent for a moment, before sighing quietly.

"Yes, I realise I sound a bit... too eager, maybe." he then admitted.

"Some of my agents are... not acting themselves. Or maybe acting TOO themselves?" he mumbled.

"I'm not sure how to put it..."

"Yes." Hal replied.

"Yes, that works perfectly." he said.

"What do you want to eat?" he then asked her.

"You feeling like anything in specific?" he asked further.

"I can book a reservation somewhere for it."

"...yes. We do." Hal responded.

"We really do." he agreed.

"Tell me when you have free time next." he told her.

"I'll MAKE the time, over here." he assured her, his voice insistent.

"Also... fair on the paperwork." he then said.

"Red and tape and all that."

"........" he was silent for a moment, and then sighed heavily, calming himself.

"Oh?" he asked.

"Very well." he said.

"I'll make sure Jake knows to expect him." he told her.

"But... someone I've been hunting for, for about a month or so?" he asked.

"Interesting. I look forward to seeing who it is." he commented.

Hal thought for a moment.

"Okay, that is true." he chuckled.

"Regardless, bye for now." he finished, before leaving and making his way back to his office.

Once there, he sat down and massaged his temples, sighing internally.

"Lyle... Roxie... now Ilias..." he muttered.

"WHAT is going ON here?" he wondered aloud.

"This doesn't make any sense!" he exclaimed, slamming a fist down on his desk.

Again, Hal sighed.

"Well, be prepared." he said.

"She'll find out soon. VERY soon." he told her. "Her info gathering skills are second to none." he muttered.

"And she WILL come here, unhappy that this has been kept from her." he warned.

"...though you know that all too well." he mumbled further.

"Regardless, I must be off." he finished.

"Let me know if you have anything to update or think of something to add to this."

Hal brought a hand to his chin, and thought for a moment.

"Hmmm, I see." he said.

"That IS concerning." he admitted, before sighing.

"Now... one last question." he mumbled.

"Peyton IS going to find out about this. There's no getting around that." he stated.

"Do you want me to let her know ASAP or find out on her own time?" he asked.

"........" Hal was silent as he heard this.

"Great." he growled.

"Fantastic." he said.

"First Lyle starts losing control of his abilities, then Roxanna starts compulsively seducing everyone, and now THIS." he said further.

"We just exited a crisis, and now we're starting to enter ANOTHER one!?" he went on, before calming himself down a bit.

"First things first, we need to try and deal with the curse." he told her.

"...rather, see if we can, without needing Ilias." he mumbled.

"But what do you mean by you 'don't believe it was truly Ilias'?" he then asked.
