"Nope." Lex replied.

"Just tell me the name of who you wish to summon." he told her.

"Oh, as well as whatever mana they may or may not have, and their name." he added.

"I... specialise in letting people talk to those that are... well... in Hell." he said.

"Sometimes they need something confirmed, or they need closure, or whatever." he went on.

"It's... not the most pleasant of services, but it genuinely helps." he continued.

"If you can't think of anyone, that's fine. I'm just curious."

Lex nodded in response.

"All right." he replied.

"Talk to you later." he said.

Sure enough, the day came, and the two of them made a day of it. Spent most of the time driving around and seeing the sights, and Lex bought Lunet a few pricey (on his insistence) souvenirs. They even were out long enough that they had both lunch AND dinner, before returning home.

When they did, and went inside, Lex paused for a moment.

"Hmmm." he mumbled.

"A thought occurs." he said.

"You know what I do, but you've never actually SEEN what I can do." he commented.

"Want to?" he asked.

"Do you want to watch me do a summoning?"

"........." Ryker was silent, before sighing.

"Yeah..." he mumbled.

"Look... I'll get you another coat." he told him.

"I know it won't be the same, but you need one." he reasoned.

"...maybe we'll be able to find it, though?" he the suggested, with a shrug.

"I have no issues with that." Lex responded.

"I'm not busy on Thursday." he said.

"Let me know when you want to head out. What time, anyway." he clarified.

"I'll map out where to go and what to do in the meantime." he said.

"Just so it's memorable for you." he reasoned.

"And THAT can be your payment."

"I had a feeling you'd say that." Lex responded.

"So. How about this." he went on.

"You get a day of site-seeing." he told her.

"I'll drive you around, and treat you to a day on the town." he went on.

"Maybe get you a couple of souvenirs for you to take home." he continued.

"How about that?"

"All right." Lex responded.

"I'll do that." he told her.

"Thanks so much once again." he went on.

"This is amazing." he continued.

He smiled at her, before looking at his laptop screen, and nodding.

"And we'll need to iron out payment as well."

Lex nodded in response.

"Right." he said.

By the end of that session, Lex was quite pleased with what they had.

"...you know what?" he said.

"I think... that we're done." he told her.

"Everything looks good, everything's accessible, the app seems to be perfect..." he listed off.

"I mean, all I can think now is if you want to do minor tweaks to the actual underlying coding and stuff."

Leo just pinched the bridge of his nose when she said that.

"Oi." he mumbled.

"Yep, she's insisting on payment for this as well." Lex told him.

"Pardon me whilst I not be surprised." Leo responded.

"ANYWAY." he then said, a bit more loudly than usual.

"If there's nothing else, I should be going." he told them.

"Lemme know if any more issues crop up." he said to Lunet.

"Got it." Leo replied.

He then made his way over towards her, and put the device in her hand.

"Here." he said.

"They should work perfectly again." he told her.

"That being said, after your flight back, I want to check them again." he then said. "See if the same thing starts to happen once more. See if the flight had anything to do with it." he went on.

"But regardless, they should work perfectly once more." he assured her.

"Let me know if there's any abnormalities." he added.

"...." Lex was silent for a moment, before laughing quietly.

"Truly, mana is amazing." he commented.

"It really is." Leo agreed.

"Anyway, hmmm." Lex then muttered.

"Well, what about..." he started to say, before they continued.

About an hour later, Leo spoke up.

"Lunet, when you're ready, I believe I've fixed them.' he announced.

"...I... what?" Lex muttered.

"But... I mean... your eyewear... and..." he stammered.

"Huh?" was all he got out.

Leo just laughed.

"I think he thinks that you can't properly work on stuff without them." he commented.

"Well... I mean... maybe?" Lex said.

"CAN you?" he asked Lunet.

"Naw, it's okay." Leo replied.

"Luckily you caught me at a good time." he said.

"Hmm... mmhmm... mmhmm..." he then mumbled further, as Lex returned.

"Here." he said, handing her a glass of water and a gel cap.

"This should work pretty damn quick."

"No, no. No need to apologise." Lex responded.

"I'll go get something for your headache." he told her, before getting up and leaving to do so.

Leo then sighed.

"I apologise for this." he said to Lunet.

"I didn't think something like this could happen. This... just... wow." he mumbled.

"Maybe something happened on the flight to do this..." he went on.

"Maybe elevations that high warped something..."

"I... have no idea." Leo admitted.

"I'll need to take them apart briefly and examine them." he said.

He then made his way to another table, and started to give it the once-over.

As he did, Lex just sighed quietly.

"So... this is an inconvenience." he said.

"Are you all right?" he inquired to Lunet.

"You said that gave you a headache? You want something for it?"
