"....woah." Lex muttered.

"That is... amazing." he said.

"And... wait, it was Leo that-" he started to ask, before the doorbell rang.

"...right." he mumbled.

"One second." he said, getting up and leaving her for a moment... and when he returned, Leo was in tow.

"So they're LITERALLY shocking you." Leo said to Lunet/

"All right, let's get these fixed up..." he muttered, grabbing them and taking a look.

"Oh geez, wow..." he said quietly.

Lex's jaw dropped.

"B... blind?" he stammered.

"As in... completely, 100%?" he inquired.

"Yup." Lunet confirmed.

"I... but... that... how..." Lex then stammered, before shaking his head.

"How do those...?" he mumbled, trailing off some.

"Wait. Hold on a second." he said.

"Your eyewear actually GIVES you sight?"

"...I... wait, what?" Lex muttered.

"You need them to see?" he asked.

"...." he was then silent, before snapping his fingers.

"Ah, your sight is bad! Of course!" he said.

"...no, wait... that doesn't explain the wire..." he mumbled.

"Just... how bad IS your eyesight?" he asked her.

"Do you need some weird special prescription or something that involves electronics?"

"Oh, geez." Leo responded.

"I'll be right there." he told her.

"Where are you?" he asked.

"Lex and Aimee's home." Lunet replied.

"Be there in a couple minutes." Leo assured her, before the convo was ended.

"...Lunet...?" Lex addressed her.

"Are you all right?" he asked her, before looking at what she had torn off and tossed onto the table.

"...a wire? What is that for?" he inquired.

"And... it's sparking? What's going on here?"

"Ah, much!" Lex responded.

They continued to discuss minor tweaks and changes for about another half hour, and Lex had one more thing he wanted to see tried.

"Can this be moved here, and these two things switched?" he inquired.

"Just to see how it looks, aesthetically?" he reasoned.

Before she answered, Lunet seemed to flick her goggle-shades again, which confused him.

'...that just something she does...?' he wondered.

However, when Lunet flicked her eyewear that time... she felt a definite electrical shock in her head.

Ryker just laughed.

"Fair." he said.

"And yeah, remember? I snagged a car earlier." he went on.

"We needed one, so I got it." he shrugged.

"Just lemme know when you wanna head out."

Lex nodded in response.

"All right." he said.

He then proceeded to check it over, examining the app, and how it worked with the website.

And he was impressed.

"Oh, wow." he said.

"This is impressive." he told her.

"The app complements the site beautifully, and for a preliminary, it's amazing." he continued.

"...just one thing, though." he then muttered.

"Can this button be moved over to here?" he asked. "And this option be taken from this submenu and put at its own thing?" he inquired. "I think it might be important enough to warrant it being upfront." he continued, showing her what he was talking about on the tablet.

"...ah, right." Lex muttered.

"Hmmm." he mumbled further.

"I... hm." he continued, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I'm going to need to try and stay awake during the day for the next little bit." he said.

"Without you here, I'll miss out on calls for sure." he went on.

"Yeah, I'm going to go to bed right now. Try and get as much sleep in as I can."

Lex just sighed.

"Sadly." he said.

"..." he was then silent, before yawning. Loudly.

"I'm tired." he said.

"I'm going to take a nap." he told her.

"Feel like I could just sleep for hours now." he went on.

"....." he then yawned once MORE, and looked out the window.

"Actually... it's a bit on the late side, isn't it?"

"I... maybe?" Lex replied, clearly confused.

"I'm not sure." he said.

"Something just felt... off?... about that whole thing." he told her.

"But for the life of me, I can't put my finger on it." he admitted.

"...of course, I'm still a bit... shall we say, starstruck... about her mother being Hollie Remmington." he then said. "Maybe it's just an extension of THAT." he reasoned.

"Also, should we pay Lunet in money?" he inquired, changing the subject.

"She made it clear she didn't care about payment, but we SHOULD repay her." he reasoned.

"...maybe some authentic souvenirs for her to take home with her..." he mumbled, wondering aloud at this point.

"Same." Lex muttered.

"...wait..." he then mumbled.

"Wait, wait, hold on." he went on.

"If Lady Remmington is her MOTHER... who's her FATHER?" he asked.

"Is Lady Remmington involved with anyone?" he inquired further.

"I... admittedly, I'm not up to date on people's social status if it's known, but... yeah, wonder who." he continued.

"This... this is interesting." he added.

Also, something seemed to be bugging him further, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

Lex nodded at Lunet in response.

"All right." he replied.

"I'll do that." he told her.

With that, the goodbyes were said, and Hollie and Lunet left.

"......" Lex was then silent again, before looking at his sister.

"THAT was nervewracking." he commented.

"I didn't expect her mother to be HOLLIE REMMINGTON." he admitted.

Lex was still silent, but managed to find his voice.

"Uh, right." he said.

"I... I had no idea your mother was the head of The Council." he told Lunet.

"Wow..." he mumbled further.

"This is... this is really quite something." he went on.

"Heh, didn't expect a visit from the head honcho, herself, today." he then admitted with a small laugh.

"We've been treating your daughter well, of course." he assured Hollie.

Lex continued to be stunned silent, before finally nodding.

"R-right." he stammered.

"C-come on in." he told her, stepping out of the way.

"I... are... y-you... that is..." he stammered and stuttered further, before shaking his head.

"Aimee! We have a visitor!" he called to his sister.

"And... and no. Lunet didn't tell us it would be YOU picking her up." he confirmed to her.
