"As we said, you DO stick out." he told her.

"Seriously. And this place is the best for getting something like that." he went on.

"Regardless, yeah, that was Jake." he then said.

"A Ramaarin." he went on.

"This place employs those that wouldn't otherwise fit into society."

"....a ray of sunshine as usual, Lil." Azazel muttered.

"But she needs to see Sharp. Stat." he told Jake.

"....whatever." Jake mumbled.

He then hid behind his paper again and buzzed them in.

"Go on." he told the two of them.

"Leave me to my, assuredly, pitiful little existence." he went on.

"I'm sure such a woman of high standards and power has better things to do than worry about a wretched creature like me."

"..........." Jake was silent as Lilim said what she did.

"I... ah..." he stammered, as Azazel shook his head.

"She doesn't mean you any harm." he assured him.

"She doesn't mean ANYONE here harm." he added.

"......right..." Jake mumbled.

"Figures there's no justice in the afterlife." he then said.

"We weren't born that way, we were crafted to be that way by the world." he told Lilim.

"Now we go inside." Azazel replied.

With that, the two of them did so, and Lilim witness a figure behind a circular desk, hidden behind a newspaper.

"Hey, Jake." Azazel said.

"Yo." the male responded, before she heard a couple of 'sst'-like sounds.

And then he seemed to freeze up.

"Woah, what the hell...?" he muttered, peering out from behind his paper.

"I don't know, either." Lex said.

He was then silent, and ate some more.

"Like I said, I'm just... worried, is all." he told her.

"Not... sure why..." he then admitted.

"I'm sure she can take care of herself. And Azzy's with her, so... yeah." he mumbled. "She should be fine." he reasoned.

"I just... can't shake this concern." he sighed.

"It's stupid. I'm probably just tired or something."

Lex just sighed.

"Yeah, I suppose so." he said.

"Still... I'm a bit on edge." he admitted.

"I'm also concerned about Lilim." he then said further.

"I wonder if she'll be all right." he went on.

"She's powerful, but this isn't home for her." he muttered further, shaking his head slightly.

"Just... yeah..."

"...." Ryker was silent for a moment, before nodding.

"Yeah." he said.

"Yeah, of course." he told her.

"Why wouldn't I?" he asked rhetorically, buckling himself in and starting the vehicle.

"I'm your bro." he went on as they drove off.

"We're family." he added with a small smile.

Lex was silent for a moment, before sighing.

"Right." he said.

He then proceeded to tell her what happened. Specifically, the summoning, what had happened, and what had happened afterwards... right up to Uriel leaving, and then Azazel and Lilim leaving.

"...so yeah." he muttered.

"It was... eventful." he said.

"And now I wonder if I'm not in some kinda deep stuff with Lady Remmington." he mumbled further.

"Starving." Lex replied.

"Seriously. I am SO hungry." he told her.

"Today was exhausting." he went on.

"Just... ugh." he mumbled.

"At least Lunet has a hell of a story for the future..." he then muttered further.

"Whether she wanted one or not."

There was silence for a moment, before she heard him call back.

"Den! Coming!" he said.

About a minute later, her brother stepped into the room, into view.

"Hey." he said.

"You missed quite the day here." he told her.

"But... before that, how was YOUR day?" he then asked.

"I'll take you to my home." Azazel told her.

"My girlfriend knows of demons anyway, obviously, so she'll be fine with you being there." he reasoned.

"And I'll see about getting you something to make you look like a human." he added.

"Right, I'm gone." Uriel said.

"I need to report back." he told them.

"And I need to talk to my sister... and hope Lady Remmington isn't going to kill me over what happened to Lunet." Lex mumbled.

"....uh..." Azazel muttered.

"As far as DEMONS go, you don't look that demonic. As far as HUMANS go, you kinda stick out." he said.

"Whatever." Uriel replied.

"Take our advice or leave it." he said.

"This realm is NOT pleasant to those that fall outside of their preconceived 'norms'." he warned her.

"You SURE you don't wanna stay here?" Lex asked her.

"You may want to talk to your sister before you make such an offer." Uriel then warned him.

There was silence among the males for a moment.

"Well, for starters, you're going to want to look less demonic." Uriel told her.

"Look more... human." he said.

"Yeah, I work at a place that's great for glamour items." Azazel chimed in, removing his ring and revealing his true self.

"You also need a place to stay." Uriel went on.

"I offered this place up." Lex said.

Lex was silent for a moment, mulling it over in his head, before his eyes widened some.

"...no way." he muttered.

"Yep." Azazel said.

"She's THAT strong." he confirmed.

"Oh... wow..." Lex mumbled.

"You are essentially in the presence of Underworld royalty." Uriel commented.

"Well... not in practice, right now. For her, anyway." he then muttered.
