"Well, whatever works." Azazel responded.

"Still. Thanks." he said.

"Lex and I really weren't doing anything useful." he lamented.

"....damn it." he then quietly cursed.

"That damn dark elf." he said further.

"It's just not right that he gets the privileges he does."

Alex just laughed.

"A client." he replied.

"She gave it to me as a gift for helping her." he said.

"Yeah, she was loaded, but it seems that I put her mind at ease, which caused her to give it to me as a gift." he went on.

"I'll get you some." he finished, before leaving the room.

"...well, then." Azazel then commented.

"Didn't expect THE Sydney Sherwood to show up here." he admitted.

"Aimee really knows who to go to for help." he chuckled.

"Which is good." Alex replied.

He then sighed, and looked at the woman.

"Hey..." he said.

"There anything I can do to repay you?" he asked.

"...wait." he then said.

"Coffee!" he realised, snapping his fingers.

"We have some of that King's Bounty blend, if you're interested."

"Got it." Azazel replied.

"I'm the runner, then." Alex said.

"Let's do this." Azazel told her.

And so they did. The three of them worked on Lilim for... well, they had no idea. They all seemed to lose track of time.

However, they eventually succeeded in stabilizing Lilim.

"Whew." Alex exhaled.

"We did it." he said.

"Seems so." Azazel agreed.

Alex looked at the newcomer, and nodded.

"No worries." he said.

"It's understandable." he told her.

"Anyway, yes, please help her." he then said.

"She's very badly hurt. And we can't do anything." he lamented.

"Yeah..." Azazel muttered.

"These injuries are... beyond cruel."

The two were silent, before they helped Lilim into the house, essentially carrying her, and laying her down on one of the couches in the den.

"Ahhh, shit." Lex muttered.

"We need to help her, and fast." he told Azazel.

"If we can." Azazel replied.

"Why wouldn't we be able to?" Lex asked.

"...the damage to her is worse than last time." Azazel explained.

"I... don't know if we can bring her back from this."

"AH! CRAP!" Azazel exclaimed.

"I didn't think of how she wouldn't be able to take it!" he said further.

"Aimee, Lilim's gravely injured." he told the woman.

"And it seems your pure mana is exacerbating the condition." he went on.

It was at that point, Lex showed up.

"The hell's the commotion?" he asked.

"LILIM!" he exclaimed when he saw the female demon, rushing close to her.

Azazel just nodded, and the two of them disappeared from where they were, appearing at the front door of Aimee and Lex's house.

"Right." he said.

He then rang the doorbell.

"Hey!" he called in.

"Lex!? Aimee!? You home!?" he called further.

"Need to speak to at least ONE a'ya!"

"I can take you there." Azazel replied.

"And... the two of us can try and heal your injuries." he mumbled.

"Indeed." Uriel said.

"She needs medical attention, fast." he agreed.

"You good to go?" Azazel then asked her.

"I'll fill you in more when I get back." he then told his son.

"And I will be off as well."{/b] Uriel said. He hadn't responded to the comments about Azazel being freed, but odds are they were missed by him in all the excitement and such.

"Most certainly." Azazel responded, stepping into the room after hearing that.

"Lex is the sort that makes lifetime promises." he told her.

"What is going on here!?" Cain suddenly exclaimed.

"Long story short, Lilim used to literally own me, then she gave me back my horn so she doesn't own me any longer, her family wants to destroy her, so she's exiled to the plane, and needs a place to stay." Azazel replied.

"Oh, and there's a dark elf in hell that's particularly nasty, and is a pet/slave to one of her family members, so he can briefly visit this plane and uses that time to hunt her down." he added.

"......." Cain was silent as he heard that.

"...ah." was all he said.

Uriel nodded, and Cain watched, as he saw Uriel isolate some weird mana in LIlim... and then literally tore it out with his own mana.

"Woah!" Cain exclaimed.

"What was THAT!?" he asked Uriel.

"A necessity." Uriel responded.

"So she can go back to being... her." he went on.

"I.... hm." Cain muttered.

"I... well, I don't see, but I'll take your word for it." he said.

"I... uh..." Cain stammered, before they felt Uriel's mana in the home.

Mere seconds later, the archangel showed himself in the room.

"........hm." he muttered.

"I see." he said.

"I can sense it in you." he told Lilim.

"...it's going to hurt again." he then said.

"Are you ready?" he asked, as Cain just looked concerned and perplexed.

"Oh, geez." Cain muttered when she hacked violently.

"I... well, hi, Lilim." he said.

"Sorry I can't help you." he apologised.

"But my Dad can, for sure." he continued.

"Even if he needs to get help for it..." he then mumbled.

"Also, you two know each other?" he asked.

".....hm." Azazel muttered.

"We're gonna need Uriel's help again." he said.

"Cain, watch over our guest." he then told the boy.

"Got it." he replied.

Azazel then left, and Cain looked at Lilim.

"So... hi." he greeted her.

"Name's Cain, obviously."
