"....." again, Theo was silent.

"She's been taken to the 're-education' room." he said.

"That doesn't sound good..." Zeke commented.

"It's where people are taken to be taught to be obedient." Theo said quietly.

"And the zombie-demon is probably with Rebecca... they were taken down in the basement. Given that it's Rebecca, they'll be in the 'ritual' room." he continued.

"...sounding better and better..." Zeke muttered.

"How do you know all this?" he asked.

"Nobody pays much attention to the paranoid crazy suicidal guy." Theo mumbled. "I often hear a lot of things that happen here." he explained.

Theo just sighed.

"Well, I'll tell you where I think they might be." he said.

"Good." Zeke responded. "We'll still need to find Lunet." he added.

"Lunet?" Theo asked.

"A girl that was probably with him." Zeke informed him.

"Blind djinn girl?" Theo asked further.

".....she IS blind, yes..." Zeke responded. "...but... djinn...?" he then mumbled quietly.

"I just know that when the demon-zombie, showed up, they brought in a blind female djinn at the same time." Theo told him in response.

"Azazel's over there." Zeke said, pointing over towards the demon.

"He was just rounding up those that are here, and helping divvy them up into groups to be sent out." he told her.

"Aedan is scouring the place, probably aiming to tear it down in the hopes of finding Cain." he went on.

"....Cain?" Theo asked, having overheard them.

"Hm?" Zeke muttered, looking over towards the poltergeist.

"Half-demon, half-zombie?" Theo asked.

"....yeah." Zeke confirmed.

"I think I might know where he is." Theo then said.

"........" Zeke was silent, before going over some notes.

"Right." he said.

"I know there are a few facilities worldwide that offer services for spirits and such." he commented. "...but something tells me San Diego would be better." he admitted.

"Very well." he told her.

"I'll see to it he's assigned to our Unit."

The one in question was Zeke, and he was busy trying to organise all that were there, as well as see if anyone was missing.

He stopped what he was doing, before looking over towards her.

"Eh?" he muttered.

"Someone that should come back with you?" he asked.

"Who? And why?" he asked further, before looking over and calling out to someone.

"You! Stand over by Agent Azazel!" he told them, to which they did so. He then looked back at Sierra to await her answer.

Theo nodded.

"Yes." he replied.

"They killed him, drained him, embalmed him, and had me possess the body." he told her.

"As a poltergeist, I cannot possess a living thing, but if the soul has moved on... well... it's another inanimate object, really." he lamented.

"So they essentially stuffed me in there, and threatened to use my... well... spirit energy of life... for research purposes if I ever left it." he finished.

When he was finished his shower, and headed down the stairs, he could smell the sweet aroma of Aly's homemade hot cocoa.

He stepped into the kitchen, and saw her pouring the liquid through a strainer, into a pair of thermoses. She looked over towards him when she noticed him, and smiled.

"Just finished it." she told him.

"Piping hot, and should stay hot in these." she went on.

"At least for another 5 hours or so."

"..............." again, Theo was silent.

He then sighed, and bit his bottom lip.

It was clear he was hesitant to do this. It seemed that his time in the place had taught him to hide things about himself, but Sierra seemed to be cracking that shell slightly.

Then, as though he had finally released a smidgen of stress, his body collapsed to the floor, and a different-looking spirit remained standing there.

"THAT'S how." he answered.

"Huh?" Theo asked.

"No..." he replied.

"No, I can't." he told her.

"Why do you ask...?" he then asked her, trailing off a little.

He then looked away, shying from her gaze, as he started to feel uncomfortable once more.

"....." he was silent, before approaching her.

"R-really?" he asked.

Sierra just nodded.

"...." he was then silent, before he peeked out the door, and saw that the personnel there were, indeed, incapacitated.

He then paused, and looked back at her.

"You... you're a spirit." he said.

"But... you were solid earlier..." he added.

"Holy crap." Zeke muttered, as they felt the wail.

"...yeah." Azazel mumbled.

"When she screams, it's serious business." he said.

"But that's the signal, remember." he then reminded them. "She's started the attack, so we need to back her up." he continued, Zeke nodding in response.

"I know." he replied.

"We need to wait until the wailing stops, then storm in." he confirmed.

"You ready, Aedan?" Azazel asked the zombie.

As he felt the bubble surround him, Theo felt something he hadn't felt in... since he couldn't remember.

Safety.

Honest to goodness safety. He felt like he was safe in that room for the first time.

"....." he was silent, before sitting up and letting his legs stretch out for the first time in a long while as well.

'...maybe...' he thought.

'Maybe she CAN save us all...'

"...." Aly was silent, but smiled as she blushed slightly.

"Heh, all right." she said.

"I'll make some up for us, then." she told him.

"It'll be ready by the time you're done." she promised, as she returned the kiss.

"Love you, Eke."

"........" Theo was silent, before nodding.

"Kay." was all he said.

"I'll be quiet. I'll stay here." he told her.

"I always stay here, anyway." he added quietly, before looking at her.

"...don't be hurt." he then said.

"You're too nice to be hurt." he reasoned.
