Forgive, O Lord,

Leo looked over towards Lunet as she said what she did, and raised an eyebrow.
"By the way." he said.
"Lunet, would you mind letting your hair down for me?" he asked.
"Literally." he stated.
"I want to see if it need a trim or any work before I start seriously planning this out." he went on. "You know, just so the visor or whatever can be fitted properly." he reasoned.

"Ty has a say in this, too." Leo then said, seeing Ty about to say something. "He IS your legal guardian, so he DOES have a right to say what he wants to about this, and have it factor in on the decision." he reasoned.
Ty then sighed in response.
"...I don't want her to be hurt, is all." he said.
"If the procedure is deemed to be too risky, we won't do it." Leo assured him.
"The last thing we want is to make things worse for her. I just want to try and give her something she never had before." he told him.
That seemed to strike a cord in Ty, as this whole thing started with him feeling the same way.
"...very well." he relented.

"It is." Leo responded.
"That being said, I think Dr. Rene Calder would be willing to attempt it." he told her.
"Which is to say, we'd need to scan your head and such, find out the inner workings, a mana read, that sort of thing." he went on. "If we all reach an agreement, then I will attempt it." he said further.
"And you really think this can be done?" Ty asked.
"Andrew Cole, the human-turned-draydin, when he was a human, and blinded, his mana allowed him to 'see', in a sort of grid-like wireframe world." Leo responded. "Mana can grant sight to those without it. It's been proven with him." he continued.
"I think I can help Lunet's mana to see. It just needs some outside help, aka some technology."

"You were born without the ability to see." Leo said.
"...she was, yes. So?" Ty asked suspiciously.
"Well, if we can check to see WHY, then I might be able to do something." Leo replied. "You know those sci-fi movies where the person loses their eyesight, but gets cybernetic eyes?" he asked.
"You... want to do that for her." Ty said, not believing it.
"Yes and no." Leo replied. "Not 'eyes' per se, but I think I can make glasses or a visor or something, that will grant Lunet a form of vision. Give her SOME visual perception of the world." he continued.
"...thing is, it will be melding human flesh and technology. It WILL require surgery." he then warned.

"Nope." Leo replied.
"Well, that's good." Ty said.
"Now... what is this meeting about?" he asked.
Leo was silent, before just shaking his head.
"Might as well come out full force." he said, taking a small breath.
"I think I can make Lunet SEE. Give her some form of vision." he told them.

"Good info to have!" Ty responded.
Sure enough, about 20 or so minutes later, there was a knock on the door. Ty made his way to it, and after a few seconds, returned with Leo and turned off the television, as they sat down.
"Hello again." Leo greeted Lunet.
"How are you both doing this evening?" he asked.

"Oh, fair enough then." Ty said.
With that, the two made their way to the den to sit and wait for Leo. Ty turned on the TV and started watching the news, while Lunet tried the ice cream.
"How is it?" Ty asked, seeing her take her first spoonful.
"It's a brand I haven't gotten before." he told her.
"Worth getting again, you think?"

"Half an hour?" Leo responded.
"Cool. I'll be there in that time." he told her. With that, they had a brief conversation, and when she heard a knock on her door, she ended the call and made her way over, opening it.
"Here y'go." Ty said.
She extended her hands, and a large bowl was placed in them.
"Enjoy."

Ty laughed out loud.
"You got it!" he called to her.
"I'll let you know when your dessert is ready!" he added.
He then sighed quietly and thought about what she had said.
"...the hell could Leo want to talk to her about...?" he wondered aloud.
"Knowing him, and this buildup, it'll be something pretty earthshaking."

"Whenever." Ty responded.
"Half-hour works for me." he told her.
"If you want to, give yourself enough time to dig into the mango ice cream." he then suggested. "I'll spoon up a big bowlful for you right now if you want." he then offered.
"Completely YOUR decision." he finished, as he started to grab what Lunet hadn't, piling it up to take to the counter by the dishwasher as well.
"It'll only take me 5 minutes or so to load the washer, so that's not a factor." he quickly added.

"Yeah, yeah." Ty responded.
"But you're a growing girl, and you need to keep up your strength." he said.
"Especially with having such potent passive mana." he went on.
"But enough talk about that." he told her.
With that, they ate. And did they ever. By the time they were done, there was NOTHING left.
"And I am stuffed." Ty declared.
"You?" he asked Lunet.

"I was joking, Lunet." he told her.
"Hell, I made EXTRA just so you could eat until you had your dill." he stressed.
"And mango." he then answered her.
"Found a 2L tub of it, so I grabbed." he said further.
"I know you love that stuff." he laughed.

"Let's hope so." Ty agreed.
"Anyway, inhale your dinner, Lunet." he told her, smirking slightly to himself.
"If you eat it all, then you'll get dessert." he said further, before pausing.
"Actually, if you leave ONE noodle on the plate, THEN you get dessert." he said jokingly.
"...either way, there's ice cream in the freezer with your name on it."

Ty was silent, raising an eyebrow.
"Uh.... yeah... sure." he said.
"I admit, this is... confusing the hell out of me and concerning me, but... if you're sure it's not something bad..." he went on.
"Just let me load the dishwasher after dinner." he told her.
"Then I'll be able to sit and chat."
