"Guess we'll try and find out more when she gets here." Ty responded.

Meanwhile, Jake and the woman were making their way to the office, with Jake subtly darting his tongue out. And not being able to make heads or tails of what it is he was sensing.

At all.

'...the hell IS this woman...?' he wondered.

"Can you remember anything about yourself at all?" he asked.

"Even any sort of name?"

"Beats me." Jake responded.

"But she says she needs help." he said.

"Can you escort her to the office?" Ty asked.

"We're on our way." Jake responded, before ending the call.

"...didn't expect to hear THAT today." Ty admitted to Hazel.

"Someone made it THROUGH that barrier. And lived."

He sighed heavily.

"Well, you're here now." he said.

"Might as well TRY." he mumbled, before buzzing Ty.

"Hey, boss. Weird situation, but... a strange woman managed to make it through the barrier, has amnesia, and needs help." he said.

Meanwhile, on the other side, both Ty and Hazel heard what Jake had said.

"...she made it THROUGH the barrier?" Ty asked.

"Yep." Jake responded. "Said it hurt like hell, but she did it."

He raised an eyebrow when she said that.

"...I see..." he said.

"Well... sadly, you've come at a very inopportune time, and... I'm afraid you're stuck here for the time being." he told her.

"The barrier that you just went through was meant to keep people out, or turn them away, because we're under lockdown, with our medical wing under quarantine." he explained.

"However, are you feeling sick or anything?" he asked.

"And I mean, physical illness." he clarified.

"...ah... I see..." he responded.

"That's... ah... hm." he mumbled.

He then made his way to his desk, and sat down behind it.

"You say you don't know much of anything." he commented.

"Well, what DO you know?" he asked.

"Anything about yourself? Or... anything at all, besides a vague notion you can find help here?"

"..." he was silent as he witnessed her beauty, but shook his head to try and clear his mind a little.

"I..." he stammered.

"Right." he said.

"Firstly, can I help you?" he asked.

"It's clear you've come here searching for help, and it's clear there's more to you than meets the eye." he went on.

"So why are you here?"

"...that's a terrifying thought." Zeke mumbled.

As soon as she grabbed the handle, she heard a voice come from within.

"Miss, I would advise you not to-" the man started to say, before she managed to open the door and step through. However, as soon as she did, she felt... an intense sensation of pain.

It felt like electricity was coursing through her body at a high voltage, as well as every nerve ending being burned by fire. She passed through whatever was causing it in a few seconds, but the result caused her to fall to one knee from the pain she had felt.

"Good lord!" the man inside exclaimed, racing over.

"Are you all right!?" he asked.

'...and HOW did she GET through that...?' he then wondered silently.

"Understandably so." Zeke replied.

"It's frustrating for everyone, but must be especially for yourself." he said.

He then just sighed, and shook his head slightly.

"Hmph." he muttered.

"If only we have some clue." he said.

"But all we have is a vague ominous feeling that fae are sensitive to."

"...ok, THAT'S odd timing..." Zeke mumbled.

"I mean, he seemed fine last I saw him, which was... well, shortly before all this started." he said.

"And now he's suddenly falling apart at the seams?" he asked.

"Weird. And kind suspicious." he went on. "...in a 'can this really be a coincidence' sorta way." he clarified. "I don't think he has the capacity to hurt anyone in any way. Intentionally, anyway." he continued.

"Boy's... almost like Lindsay Fyrane, except... far less physically capable."

"I guess it's tied to what you and the fae are feeling." Zeke replied.

"...which is ominous, seeing as I can't sense anything." he said.

"An archangel. Nephilim of an archangel technically, but you get my point." he said. "My 'danger sense' is pretty good." he went on, thinking about it a little more.

"...a shame Nate isn't here, in a sense." he then said further.

"His ability might prove useful."

"Nobody wants to get it." Zeke responded.

"Hmmm." he mumbled.

"There HAS to have been SOMETHING done for it in terms of research..." he went on.

"My Dad's said that it's akin to like... a natural disaster. It shows up, wrecks havoc, and then disappears." he continued. "But I refuse to just let it be like that." he stated.

"Sadly, I can't think of any research done on it."

He crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head.

"I don't know." he said.

"I don't think ANYONE knows." he said further.

"Seriously. This is a situation that's... new. It's uncharted. It's... just... ngh." he stammered and grunted at the end.

She could see this was taking a bit of a toll on him as well.

It was in his DNA to help. But he didn't know how. He felt useless.

Zeke sighed when he heard that.

"A sad truth." he said.

"This is... a messed up situation, to put it VERY lightly." he muttered.

"And I can't get the fact that the fae back home were sensing something off and ominous outta my head." he then told her.

"It's never a good sign when fae are uneasy." he went on.

"And YOU said you're sensing something weird as well." he added.

"...well, then." Ty responded.

"I think... that's all I need to... move forward." he told her, clearing his throat.

Zeke sighed as he finished running things around the medical wing, and then went to Angela in her office.

"Everything's been organised." he told her.

"Have you told the lab yet about what's going on?" he asked. "Maybe they can help." he reasoned.

"Or... have you already? Should we not?"
