Forgive, O Lord, my
my little jokes on thee...

"That is... a lot of vagueness." Ty responded.

"But anyway, Hazel, if you could help Miss Jane to a dorm, and show her where the lab and cafeteria are?" he asked Hazel.

"Oh, and here." he then said, grabbing one of the card keys and handing it to Jane.

"Dorm 37." he told her.

"If you ever find yourself wandering the building, the blue tiles are an interactive map and guidance system."

Forgive, O Lord, my
my little jokes on thee...

Ty scratched his chin a little when she said that.

"Normally I would send you to the medical bay for examination, based on that theory." he said. "However... quarantine. Nobody is getting IN or OUT of there." he reasoned.

"But the lab would be a good place to potentially help." he then said further.

"They might be able to extract some information from you." he went on.

"...whether it be examining your blood, or finding a way to unlock your memories." he clarified.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord, my
my little jokes on thee...

Ty was silent for a moment, not quite sure how to respond to that last statement.

"Ah... well... that SHOULD go away some point soon." he told her.

"Should, anyway." he stressed.

"And as long as you're feeling all right, physically speaking, then we don't have any real reason to panic." he continued. "The quarantine on the med bay is pretty tight." he reasoned.

"So at least you haven't caught the virus. It's... pretty non-subtle." he finished.

Forgive, O Lord, my
my little jokes on thee...

Ty sighed lightly.

"We'll call you Jane, then." he said.

"Short for 'Jane Doe', though you're not... dead. Just... have amnesia." he mumbled.

"For now. If you remember your name, do not hesitate to let me know." he told her.

"Or anything at all. Due to this being an emergency, I live here in this office, and the phone in the dorm we'll assign you to will connect to the phone here." he explained to her further.

"But you're not feeling physically ill or anything?" he asked.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

"Don't stress yourself out over it." Ty said to her.

"We'll get you set up with somewhere to sleep here, and make sure you know where things are." he said further.

"We'll then worry about getting your memories back." he went on.

"For now, your safety and comfort." he stressed.

"...we'll need something to call you, though..." he then realised.

"Not sure if you want to go by 'Jane' in the time being, however..."

Forgive, O Lord, my
my little jokes on thee...

Ty nodded in response.

"Understandable." he said.

"I doubt ANYONE is particularly fond of such a thing." he said further.

"But for now, we will make sure you have a place to sleep, and have access to food and basic necessities and such." he went on.

"And I'll look into the files to see if we can't find someone to try and help you recover your memories." he told her.

"And maybe we'll find a clue to this mess."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

"...admittedly, that's better than we have now." Ty responded.

"We have NOTHING." he told her.

"Actually, I was recently informed that apparently fae are sensing some strange disturbance in the atmosphere, but... that's it." he said further. "We don't even know if it's related." he lamented.

"However, we WILL try and help you recover your memories." he promised.

"We'll do all we can."

...and I'll forgive thy

Forgive, O Lord, my
my little jokes on thee...

Ty just shook his head.

"And they're all bad." he said.

"However, THIS instance is more worrying, because it hasn't even been that long since the last outbreak." he told her.

"..." he was then silent, before checking the open door to see if anyone was there. When he saw or heard nothing, he sighed.

"Ouroboros." he revealed.

"ONE case. And the medical bay is under strict quarantine for it."

Forgive, O Lord, my
my little jokes on thee...

"See, this makes me think even more than there seems to this." Ty responded.

"Also... this building IS under lockdown." he then said.

"You say you have a place and such, but... we're dealing with something VERY serious in the medical bay of the building." he went on.

"So much so, that if it slips out, we face a very real chance of immense global casualties." he continued.

"It's a disease with a 100% death rate."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord, my
my little jokes on thee...

Once she'd told them everything, Ty leaned back in his seat and thought about it.

"Strange..." he said.

"Well, there is clearly more to this than there seems." he commented. "Otherwise you wouldn't be here... in this building." he reasoned.

"We can offer you sanctuary, food, and shelter." he told her.

"And whatever we can do to help this memory issue."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Ty raised an eyebrow.

"You're not sure?" he asked.

"I see." he said.

"Well... have a seat." he offered, gesturing to one of the chairs.

"And tell me all you know, or can remember, or anything." he said further.

"Would you care for some water?" he then asked.

When Jake heard that, he suppressed a heavy sigh.

'...figures he's not here when that could've been really handy...' he thought, as they reached the office, where the door was wide open, Hazel having done so to show they could just walk in.

Which they did.

"Hello there." Ty greeted her.

"Agent Tyson King." he introduced himself.

"Temporary head of The Unit, San Diego branch, while the real Head is away on business."

"Hm." Ty mumbled.

"I get the feeling that your presence here might be helpful. Or needed." he said.

"I admit, I've been feeling more like myself sense... that night." he told her.

Meanwhile, Jake just shook his head a little.

"Yeah. Barriers." he confirmed.

"Strong ones. The fact you made it through is... a feat it and of itself." he told her.

"Also... that's a strange feeling to have..." he mumbled. "Interesting..."
