Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"I'll contribute when I am able to." Nicolas replied.

"I'll need to find something to do." he continued.

"...maybe find a job on the internet somewhere." he said further, thinking about it. "Like, some way to work from home or whatever." he clarified further, thinking about it.

"Regardless, I... I am ready." he told her.

"Ready to find my happiness. With you."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

He smiled at her.

"More than okay." he said.

"I need help finding where to buy technology and what to get." he told her.

"And... well, I'll need other things like clothes and such." he went on.

"After all, if we're going to live together, I'll need to... actually start LIVING." he reasoned.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

He watched her go, before shaking his head and knocking on the door that Pandora went through.

"Pandora?" he said.

"Can we talk?" he asked.

"I feel there's a few things we need to iron out." he said further, before sighing.

"I need your help with some things, as well."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

He nodded in response.

"I should." he said, walking towards where Pandora had gone... but stopped and looked at Sariel.

"...thanks." he said to her.

"I needed to hear this." he admitted.

"I guess I need to be more independent at times, but... I guess I just needed to hear this was all right."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"I know." Nicolas replied.

"I know she's perfect for me." he said.

"...and I feel as though I've known her forever." he went on. "...because technically, I have, but... well, yeah." he muttered.

"I really do want to be with her." he admitted.

"I think it would really be a bright spot in my existence."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"Heh." Nicolas chuckled.

"That's... that's amazing to hear." he admitted. "For so long, I've been alone. Thinking it was just how it was supposed to be. I was starting to really resent it." he admitted.

"...that did not play a factor in the box being opened. I was legit ambushed and double-teamed." he then stressed.

"But... if I can be happy... and be with someone like Pandora... that'd be wonderful."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

He just sighed.

"I guess." he said.

"....so it's really okay?" he asked.

"Even after this mess-up?" he asked further.

"I'm... allowed to have a life? I'm allowed to... um..." he then mumbled further, trailing off a little.

"...be happy...?"

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Nicolas just sighed. Heavily.

"Damn fallen angels." he said.

"They mess EVERYTHING up." he growled.

"But all right. At least I know the hammer IS coming down at some point. Though that... MIGHT make it worse." he then said.

"...wait, is Pandora safe now?" he asked.

"My punishment... it... should she be around when it DOES hit...?"

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"Right, I misspoke." Nicolas said.

"And that DOES put things into perspective..." he admitted.

"Am I going to be fired for this, though?" he then asked.

"Pretty sure this is the first time Prometheus has failed to guard the box, without it resulting in death." he commented.

"So am I in deep for this?"

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"...." Nicolas was stunned for a moment, before just laughing as well.

"Well then." he said.

"If an archangel can have a child with a mortal, then I suppose my wanting a life, and one with Pandora, isn't such a farfetched idea." he commented.

"Then again, looking back on it, I should have made that correlation with that Cain boy." he then realised.

"But... huh. So Pandora is in direct contact with archangels."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"H-huh!?" Nicolas stammered, but it was too late. Pandora was gone, leaving them alone to talk.

"..." he was then silent, before pinching the bridge of his nose.

"When I said an archangel telling me it was okay for me to have a life with Pandora was what was needed, I was half-serious." he muttered. "I didn't think it'd actually be possible." he said.

"...wait..." he then said.

"How DID she get you here? HOW is she in contact with the ARCHANGELS?"

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Nicolas looked around as she told him where everything was, before heading to the bathroom.

"Know what I need to take care of first." he mumbled, disappearing into the bedroom.

He wasn't in there for too long, only about 5 minutes, but when he came out, and made his way back to the main area, he was stunned to see that Pandora seemed to have another guest.

A woman that had a... very impressive and commanding presence.

"S-S-Sariel...?" he managed to get out, having met her and her 'siblings' only once in the past, when he'd taken his position, but he had not forgotten them.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Nicolas was silent for a moment, wondering about the tone in her voice, but he hadn't had time to ask her about it, before they reached her dorm.

"Thank you." he said, stepping inside.

"Nice place." he commented, looking around.

"Very comfortable." he said further.

"Looks like this place was treating you well while here."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Nicolas looked at her, before thinking a moment.

And then laughing.

"Wanna know what would make this idea a slam dunk?" he asked.

"If an archangel told me it was okay." he told her. "Seriously, they're as high up as you can get before you reach the head honcho, and I know that their word is pretty much as good as any up there." he reasoned.

"So yeah. An archangel." he finished.

And he tone stated that he believed that to be little more than a pipe dream.
