@Wildfire: im thankful i can take things off the laptop before it kicks the bucket.
This week has been a teen mess. Dealing with a parent having parenting withdrawals. Lol. And dealing with a teen feeling her mom's presence. Even though she's not here.
I just want to day drink and send the teen back for a week so i cant stop being stuck in the middle of poor communication.

@Wildfire: basically my laptop is about 9 years old. The plug in port broke a while back. And now, after updates, my laptop refuses to connect to wifi.
So it works. Just... No internet. T^T
My husband did his best with his techie skills.
He just wants to get me a new computer.

@Wildfire: I'd say save the money and get a new hot water heater. We're in the same boat though. I know it's a big cost.
Our upstairs portion of the house is run off of a different water heater and it doesn't work well. We have to replace it and we just haven't yet. :T
We don't really use that hot water heater, so it's an easily forgotten task. buuuut, we got new roommates lined up to take the upstairs space. It's gotta get done. o3o'
I went in the hottub yesterday and it was not very relaxing because of the noticeable yuck growing on the walls and around windows. I'm totally exhausted now. I'm going to spend today as a couch potato.
Your garden tub sounds so cute/cozy. <3

@Wildfire: I feel really successful right now. I just scrubbed the ever living-mold out of my hottub room. =O Much needed and.. wow. gross.

Sleep is just not my friend anymore. oh my gosh.

@Wildfire: a year ago, my sister asked me to assist and tutor my niece with an online course, I didn't give her answers to a test [although my sis had given me the answer key /god knows how she got the answer key] I let her fail a test- only because my niece was more excited to be video chatting with me than she was about the courses her mom enrolled her in.
yeah, my sis dropped me and didn't let my niece call me for a few months. Unfortunately, that's a normal thing. Which is why i'm super glad my niece is here. :0
I always give explanations why I say "no" or "because I say so" that way if my kids do decide to do the things I say no to, they'll understand the consequences of their actions.
Anyhow,
Thank you for complimenting my squash lunch. Now I'm making chicken stir fry and setting up the Xbox 360 Kinect. My kids are all Bug-Eyed because my old 360 has the star wars theme console. It's awesome to them and I love that reaction.

I fried up some squash, added a bit of cheese, and did an over-easy egg on top. Super simple, only takes a few minutes.
It always hits right.

I am actually one of those parents. I let my kids make their decisions and when it doesn't work out- we talk about why it didn't. I believe strongly in that method of parenting. <3 People learn fastest by their mistakes.

My niece picked up on this her first week here. Her mom caters to her never making mistakes.
So, My son was taking an easy math quiz and he rushed through the questions. I read the questions, he answered them. he had a few wrong and I had him submit the quiz and he was disappointed, I explained to him he shouldn't rush after the quiz. And my niece was nearby and looked at me all shocked-like. Her mom would have made sure her quiz was 100% before submitting it. :T

@Wildfire: Lol! yeah, Teens are just going through the toddler stage all over again. hahaha!
I just ate my favorite squash lunch and I feel so good now. C:

@Wildfire: Thank you for the luck. lol. It is much needed. I managed the hormone quake well! She went from crying about silly things to going to the grocery store with me and picking out her favorite fruit. XD

Oh jeez, Teen meltdown over here. dang, these hormones.

Awe, Wish I could've helped you. I need to re-arrange my own furniture. But I'd prefer to help someone else instead. lmao. XD
