Once their pizza arrived he stopped with the stories, smiling gently. “Your turn. Tell me about yourself.” He said softly.

Once they had their purchases, she held the bags close, still a bit embarrassed about not buying the things herself. “What next?” She asked shyly, walking by a camera shop as they headed out, briefly glancing at them.

Those wings are gorgeous!

He blinked a few times and smiled gently, starting to tell her stories of his past adventures with companions. All the best stories were with his companions. He had been alone for a while before Trin, and was very glad to be traveling with someone again. His TARDIS was right, he shouldn’t be alone.. but when he thought of all the danger he put them in.. it was hard to want to find someone.

She tried not to squirm, nodding and finding a size that might fit her. She tried it on quickly before slipping it off and handing it to the Doctor. “Thank you..” she said softly.

As soon as they found a table, he moved to the other side to sit and wait for their food. “What would you like to see next?”

“Really? It looks interesting..” she said shyly, checking the yellow and black items. “How about this..?” She said shyly, motioning to a black denim jacket with a yellow badger. It was cute..

“Let’s split a pizza then.” He said cheerfully, moving to place an order for one.

She went a little red. “I.. would rather know the references first..” she said shyly, looking at the Harry Potter items and another series next to it.

“It’s a pizza and burger joint.” He said softly, looking at the cheese pizza options. “Been around for a very long time.”

“Let’s do that then.” She said softly, smiling. There was a few things she liked but she wasn’t sure where they were from. “And I think what I got earlier is ok for now..” she said softly. “Maybe some.. bathroom stuff..” she said shyly.

He opened a door for her into a diner, smiling gently. “This place has been pretty good in the past.”

She smiled gently and turned back to the items, picking up a little cat plush. “How about this?”

He grinned, leading her through the city a bit, telling her stories that he knew and looking for a place they could get a bite to eat.
