@Saeyra: 'Apocalypse' is our second favorite song of theirs.
Yes! We do get a Lana Del Ray vibe from them. We haven't heard Lana Del Rey in a long time, but we do love her voice.

"I don't know what any of you do, but I'm sure you'll come in handy eventually. I mean...Allen wouldn't have kept you in here unless you were useful." Kaneko spoke to the plants as if they would hear her and talk back. But talking out loud made things not seem so lonely, and she did it often when she was alone. Almost as to keep herself company of some sort even if it was just her voice. The silence was nice but too much of it was spooky. Kaneko gathered the herbs and cradled them in her arms and continued to look around. "Hmm...what else could be of use in here?" Well, she couldn't really do much. She needed to put these down somewhere, so she set them down on his desk carefully. Kaneko opened up small cubby holes and looked inside. Empty. Opening up small drawers, she looked through but saw nothing of importance. She closed them again and looked around. There were many books, would he need any of them? "Hmm..." He wouldn't be able to read them but she could. Curiously, she made her way to a bookshelf and looked through the titles. All of which she had never heard of. With a pout, she gathered up the herbs again and made her way back to his room. "I found more herbs Allen. I figured these may be helpful in the future and perhaps we can plant them and then they shall grow and we will be able to harvest these whenever you might need them!" She suggested with a grin.

"You'll be fine Mads." He said quietly. "You'll see, we'll be in and out of there in no time." Again, Clint was being positive about this. He didn't want to think that things would go wrong in there that wouldn't help any of them. Making sure the doors were locked and the alarm was set, he motioned for her to follow. "First thing is first, shampoo. I'm pretty sure a lot of the hygienic stuff will be in that isle. Hopefully. If not we just need to look around, no biggie." They had to have some sort of plan before going into the store or else they'd be there longer than they had to. And for her sanity, he didn't want to be there for very long. He made sure to grab a cart and walked into the large store with Maddie. Time to get this over and done with.

Kaneko pouted and nodded. "Okay.." she whispered before leaving the room and heading straight to his study. Kaneko saw a few herbs sitting there that she thought might be helpful even though she wasn't sure what they were. She sniffed each one, but that didn't really help much. They smelled odd but not terribly bad either. "I wonder what you all do." She said quietly to herself. Allen said he needed a blood root flower, the name alone told her it was rare to come across but he had clearly come across one before if he knew its purpose. Unless the older vampire had been the one to tell Allen this information. She felt terrible that she couldn't help, but at least she was doing all that she could even though it wasn't enough. Don't beat yourself up over this Kaneko. You're doing more than anyone else ever has. So you should feel good about yourself, not down in the dumps. This was true. Besides, they were moving! Wasn't that exciting? Yes, but it was also terrifying because there was still so much to do when they got there.

Clint listened to Maddie as she listed off the things she would need. Did the grocery store carry all that? He believed so. A hairbrush? He wasn't sure if the store would have that item but there was only one way to find out. Whatever they didn't find at the store, they would look for somewhere else. It wasn't long before Clint pulled up to the store's parking lot. It looked somewhat full but it didn't look like it would be packed which was great. There was nothing worse than shopping in a packed store. "Sounds to me like you have the list in your head." He told her after he had parked and killed the engine. He was a little worried she'd have a panic attack in the store from all the people that were bound to be inside, he just hoped they could be out of there before that even happened. "Ready to do this?" He asked her, un buckling his seat belt and stepping out of the car. He went around and opened her door for her. It shouldn't take long. That's what he kept telling himself in his head.

Kaneko looked at him, raising an eyebrow questioningly. "Trust in you?" She repeated and remained where she stood. "Allen...I know you wouldn't hurt me on purpose. I understand that you don't want to hurt me which is why you refused...and it's okay. Really, i don't want to force you to do anything you're not comfortable doing. Like you said, you've never done this before..I can understand why you'd be hesitant to try. It was just a suggestion Allen, not an order. It's fine. Maybe you have a herb you can eat that can help you with the thirst for now." But herbs were only temporary, what would they do when they arrived at the new place? What would he feed from there? A random animal? That didn't sound very nice or healthy.

Clint listened to her and nodded. The grocery store it was then. Hopefully they had all the things that Maddie would need. He wanted to go with her this time though, just to make sure she'd be okay. A grocery store was bigger than a clothing store, chances were someone could maybe recognize her and try something. He had to keep a positive mindset though. She would be fine and he would be there to make sure she was. Besides, between the two of them, they could probably get everything she needed in a shorter amount of time. "I hope you don't mind me going in with you this time, Mads." Clint informed her, turning onto a street and continuing to drive smoothly. It was sad, to know that she had to go through the dumpsters just to get a few things she'd need. Not anymore though, not while she was staying with Clint. For however short or long that would be, she'd be able to live a hopefully safer life. Safer and healthier too. Home made food was better than any other food you could find out there.

Kaneko blinked at his explanation and answer. Just as expected, he refused. She was relieved but a little upset? She wasn't even sure, but she could understand that he didn't want to hurt her. "Ohh....I see." She said quietly. She lightly pat the top of his hand and smiled. "It's fine Allen I was just...it was just a silly suggestion. D-don't worry. I'm not upset or anything, I promise." She said, grabbing his suitcase and moving to set it down along with their other things. She went around closing all the drawers then closed his wardrobe and closet. Leaving the room as it was when they first got here. A room frozen in time. "I think that's everything. I should uhhh...check your study in case there are any herbs you might need in the future. You know, better to be safe than sorry." Kaneko spoke nervously. "A-are you sure you don't need anything Allen? Anything at all?"

"Thank-you." Clint took back the card and slipped it into his wallet for safe keeping. She listed off what she had gotten and he smiled. "Sounds like you found what you were looking for. I get you though. Clothes shopping can be difficult even for us guys, so don't let it get to you." Clint closed the door and walked around, getting into the driver's seat and buckling his seat belt. He closed his door and started up the ignition. "Alright, next on the list is pretty much everything else a girl needs. I don't know what that might be, or where to get it. Shampoo you can get at grocery stores though. Weird, I know. Where do you suggest we go though? Where would you get your female stuff?" He asked, looking at her before starting to slowly back out of the parking spot he was in.

Okay, this was it. She had to be brave and just come out with it. The worst that he could do is refuse. Kaneko's slender fingers ran along the fabric of the clothes in the suitcase before she closed the suitcase properly, hearing it click once it closed. "Umm...w-well I was just curious. D-does it hurt to get b-bitten? I mean well...i-if you are thirsty and you r-require blood, I...I wouldn't mind giving you mine. I-if you wanted it. B-but if you don't want to it's okay. I was just thinking that I c-could help you like that. You know? A-and even if it d-does hurt it's okay because well...because I'd be taking care of you and t-that would make me happy. I..." Kaneko was rambling and quickly stopped to take a breath. "It's just an idea. An offer...a suggestion. I don't know anything about v-vampires. Father never told me anything. I...I don't know if I'll be turned by doing this but.." She shrugged even though he couldn't see her. "It's a silly question...I know."

"I'm sure it's fine." Kaneko approached the closet and looked inside. Sure enough, there was a suitcase there. Taking it out, she blew the dust off of it, away from Allen so he be covered in dust. "It is usable, no worries." She smiled. It had seen some better days yes, but it wasn't in horrible shape. She could tell it was old, but it still worked. It had a few scuff marks here and there and it even smelled of old. But that was fine. There was something lovely about antiques. Taking the suitcase with her, she carefully placed it on her side of the bed and opened it then walked to where his shirts were and carefully took them all out. Kaneko hummed softly as she worked. Folding the shirts and placing them inside the suitcase. She pulled the drawers open and took the pants she saw there as well. Again, she carefully folded them and set them in the suitcase. "You have a really nice fashion sense sir Allen." She said to him softly. Her eyes looked through the drawers carefully taking any clothing items she could find that belonged to him. However, in her search, she found no shoes. Strange. Unless she wasn't looking hard enough? "S-sir Allen...could I ask you a question?" She asked, looking at him nervously.
