At least the cashier was female. Maybe it would make buying all this stuff less awkward. Thankfully there were no questions asked. Perhaps a look was given but Clint didn't return it. He only slipped the card along the reader to pay the total. It wasn't too much money so that was good. "Thanks." He muttered, taking the receipt and the bags, he motioned for Maddie to follow him out of there. Out into the fresh air where they could finally breathe.

@Saeyra: Gummi worms are good.
We prefer DOTS. That is a good candy.
Oh, and cookies and cream chocolate.

Well this was very embarrassing for him. He could only imagine how Maddie felt though. Having a guy with her while she looked through the brands and sizes of the bags. His eyes momentarily flitted across the various different names of the brands before he tore his gaze away for respect to her privacy. Instead, he focused on the laminate flooring that the store was sporting. Hideous, but it was clean at least. Clint looked back at her and noticed she was done. "Let's go. I know you don't want to be here any longer than we already have. We'll pay, and then we'll go home and you can just...you know...relax. The hard part has already been done." Clint told her, walking off to the checkout, glancing over his shoulder to make sure that Maddie was following him. This was something he wasn't sure he'd ever get used to doing. Shopping alone was easy, shopping with a girl was strange.

It wasn't difficult to see that this was all difficult for Maddie. Difficult, annoying, tiresome. Shopping was annoying no matter who you were. Unless you actually liked it. "Alright, one more thing off the list. What's next?" Clint asked, unaware of what she was going to tell him. When he heard what they were looking for, he blushed and averted his gaze. "O-oh...right...that." He started, rocking back and forth on his heels. This wasn't awkward at all. Except, it was super awkward. At least this was the last thing before they headed back home. "Saved the best for last huh?" He joked, trying to lighten the mood and failing miserably. "Come on, they're probably over here somewhere." He said, motioning towards the next isle. They were almost at the end of the store so they had to be nearby right?

Her eyes opened momentarily, her vision blurred. Probably due to the blood loss. How much time had passed? A few minutes? Certainly not hours, but he was still feeding, she felt light headed. This was to be expected though, and he needed this. He needed to feed, she couldn't just let him tough it out. Vampire or not, no one deserved to go hungry or go thirsty. Kaneko blinked her eyes many times in an attempt to focus again but her vision was still blurred no matter how wide she opened her eyes. Then, he stopped and she leaned back against the bed's headboard. Relaxing her tired body. Her head turned to look at him, she could hear his breathing was hard. Was something wrong? "A-allen? Is everything okay?" She asked him, scooting closer.

Deodorant, where would that be? He looked around, wondering if it was here or in the last isle they were just in. As much as splitting up would help in this situation, he was too paranoid to ask for it. "Hmm, doesn't seem to be here. Was probably in the previous isle. We just didn't see it because we weren't looking for that at that moment. Come on, let's go back and check. It has to be there. If we see razors then the deodorant should be nearby since they go hand in hand." Clint explained to her, his eyes still searching the shelves of this current isle in case he had just missed it probably. "Ah no, here we go! It's right here. All the feminine ones anyway." He motioned for her to follow him to a section of the isle where the different feminine deodorants were located.

Try to relax. Yes that's what she was trying to do and after many deep breaths, she did. Kaneko relaxed, closed her eyes and waited patiently. She felt his hand beneath her wrist then two cool fingers atop her wrist. Feeling, searching. It really did feel like she was going to get a shot from a nurse, except it wasn't your traditional shot and it wasn't from a nurse. She would be fine though, she kept telling herself that in her head. He'd never hurt her. She remembered her father telling her Allen would just turn on her one day and kill her, that was just before the events leading to his arrest. No, she didn't want to believe him. Allen would never kill her would he? No, because he wasn't like the older one. Just then she felt it, a piercing, sharp pain. It wasn't as painful as she anticipated, but it still hurt a bit. Kaneko bit her lip gently, keeping herself in a relaxed state as to not disturb Allen.

Her wrist? This was unexpected, but it was probably the safer option right? "Oh...o-okay." She answered, her voice soft, quiet. Kaneko looked at her wrists and held one out for him. This was it, this was actually going to happen. She had to relax, she had to breathe calmly. It was like when you got a shot, if you were tense, it hurt more. Maybe being bitten was the same thing? She couldn't help but be nervous though, she'd never been bitten before. Kaneko knew her father would freak if he knew that Allen was going to bite her. Thankfully, he was in prison and they'd be long gone by the time he was free once more.

Why were there so many hairbrushes? They all served the same purpose so what was the difference between the bristles. See, guys had it easy, they just used a comb. Nothing to it really. Girls were picky though. He'd been around enough of them growing up to know that every girl always had to get the 'perfect' thing. Whether it be a brush, perfume, clothes. Guys usually didn't care about how they looked, but he wasn't sure that was a good thing. Certainly not something to be proud of. Clint looked at her when she spoke up. "The body wash?" He asked then facepalmed himself. "Ohhh right! Right, sorry it slipped my mind as well. Probably should have made a list. It's called a 'Shopping list' for a reason Clint." He muttered, scratching the back of his head nervously. "But at least we found the hairbrushes!" He said, gesturing towards them. So many choices, he imagined this was overwhelming for her. Once she had picked one though, Clint didn't know what was left to really get. "So uhh....what's next?" He asked her.

What was she smirking about? Maybe she found him amusing? Maybe he was talking too much? He didn't know. Picking out a blue 'medium' toothbrush, he tossed it in with his toothpaste and guessed their next step was a hairbrush. Okay, that stuff had to be here with the shampoo right? It made sense that something for your hair be in the same isle as stuff used to wash your hair. "Okay, hairbrushes should be around here somewhere. Or maybe they're in the next isle. Probably since I don't see them here." Clint said. Maybe they were in the next isle. "Come on, let's go check the next isle out. Maybe we will find you a hairbrush there." He said to her, leading the way over. When they rounded the corner, he say hairdye. "Aha, hairdye. Hairbrushes have to be in this isle here. Have to be."

Kaneko blinked. Was he actually going to? No way. After a brief moment of hesitation, her feet carefully made their way around to her side of the bed where she slipped back in and sat comfortably. She hoped she wasn't forcing him to do this. He could have said no, well at first it did sound like he had refused but now... Now it sounded as if he were actually considering it. How much would it hurt? She trusted that he wouldn't hurt her but it still had to hurt a little right? She remembered something else he had said, he wasn't sure if he would be able to control himself. Was he that thirsty right now? Well he probably hadn't fed yesterday and today he had lost a lot of blood so it made sense that he'd be craving this badly right now. Kaneko trusted him though, of that she was sure. She wouldn't have offered if she didn't trust him as much as she did.

"Good choice." Clint told her after watching her pick a Spearmint Colgate one. "Alright, toothbrush! I'm getting a new one because you're supposed to get a new one every so often. Not sure if people actually do that though, but I do because you don't want to keep using the same brush for over a month. That's pretty gross." He explained. "I'm going to get medium softness so that I don't tear my gums when I brush. Soft is...too soft. That's like for kids so I suggest you get medium as well. You can see what they are at the top of the packaging. See?" Clint grabbed a random toothbrush that said 'Soft' at the top. "Just look for the word 'Medium' and you'll be all set." He explained to her, trying to be helpful. Hopefully he wasn't being annoying though.
