"20 minutes?" Leo asked.

"Yeah, sure." he replied.

"Heck, if you want, I'll show up in 15 or so to get you and bring you here." he added.

After the details were ironed out, a figure approached the front door of the house, making sure they weren't seen by anyone.

Once they were there, they knocked. And waiting.

All the while, they were clutching a vial of something.

Leo laughed again.

"Fair enough." he said.

-Later-

Leo sighed as he looked over Chloe, before taking out his phone.

He dialled Lunet's number, and waited for her to answer.

"Hey, it's Leo." he said when she did.

"Can you come to R&D at The Unit?" he asked.

"Need help with Chloe."

"Oh?" Leo asked.

"Sounds like a good time." he said.

"Your joint shows are always in high demand." he went on.

"From what I hear, people will pay out the nose for them." he continued.

"...though, knowing you, you'd do it for free. Hell, pay THEM to have your show." he laughed.

"But we know Kalin would have an aneurysm." he then added.

Leo nodded.

"Yep." he responded.

"Things are all right." he told her.

"Busy, but... hey, that comes with the territory of what I do." he went on.

"Makes the time fly." he reasoned.

"Had any good shows lately?" he asked.

Leo just smiled.

"Hey, no worries." he said.

"You're a friend." he told her.

"And this is a surprisingly simple repair job." he reasoned.

"Other than this, how are you?" he asked.

"How have things been going?"

Leo shook his head.

"Nope." he replied.

"Thank you for the part." he said, looking at the box.

"Fresh and new, too." he commented.

"No way this thing'll cause any problems." he chuckled.

"Should last you a good long while, Desiree."

"Not yet." Leo replied.

"That's going to be slightly more involved, so I'll do it after I finish this current project." he told her.

"Not sure whether or not I should fix Desiree's headphones before Chloe, though." he then admitted.

"I don't want to make you wait longer for Chloe to be up and running, but knocking Desiree's headphones out of the way would be simple and quick..." he went on.

"How tight is the time budget?" he asked Kiah.

"......huh." Leo mumbled.

"That... is true." he said.

"And yeah, it is." he told her.

"I'm a hardware guy, she's a software gal." he went on.

"Heck, it's thanks to Lunet that Desiree's headset works even better than ever before." he chuckled.

"She's a hell of a consultant."

"Ah. Thank you." Leo replied, taking the part.

"Well, there we go." he said to Desiree.

"I'll have these up and functional again in 30-45 minutes." he told her.

"Thanks for this." he then said to Kiah.

"I know these things are stupidly expensive to get ahold of."

"Really?" Leo asked.

"Awesome!" he said.

"Can I talk to your procurement officer, then?" he asked. "Or... someone that works in that department, anyway?" he asked further.

"Need to go through the proper channels and such." he said further.

"I know your boss needs all the red tape dealt with and such."

Leo looked over towards the newcomer, and sighed.

"Ah..." he stammered, before grabbing the part from Desiree's headset that needed replacing.

"One of these." he said, telling her what it is.

"There any way you can find out if you have?" he asked.

"And if so, there any way I can buy one off of you?" he asked further.

"...even though it'll be Desiree footing the bill of her own accord..." he then mumbled.

Leo just sighed, shaking his head.

"I know, I know." he said.

"And I know I won't be able to stop you." he went on.

"So I won't argue." he finished.

"Anyway..." he mumbled.

"That's assuming that they HAVE the part." he reminded her.

"It's kind of specialised, but there's a decent chance, as I think they might use it in some of their equipment here." he reasoned.

"But that might be a double-edged sword, as the ones they have might already be in use, or they might not want to part with them."

"We're at The Unit." Leo told her.

"They have resources and connections that not even MY company has, in terms of tech parts and such." he said. "If they happen to have the part in stock, then I will buy it from them right here and now." he continued.

"If I can get it here, I can fix this is under a half-hour." he told her further.

"All the other damage is easily fixable, and if they have the part, then... well... this will be one HELL of an easy fix." he reported with a smile.

"So yeah. You might not be without for a while." he said.

"Best case scenario, you've been momentarily inconvenienced." he chuckled.

Leo accepted the box and opened it. After examining it for about 5 minutes, he identified the problem.

"Ah!" he said.

"...well, the problem is, the part that got damaged is... REALLY hard to get ahold of, even for me." he told her.

"And I can't abuse my position in The Order to get it." he sighed, shaking his head... before pausing.

"Wait..." he mumbled, taking out his cell phone.

Can you come see me right now? he texted to Kiah.
