"No. That's all." he said.

"I need to go and thank Ayla." he then said further.

"She pushed me into talking to you about this." he told her.

"I couldn't bring myself to, on my own." he then admitted.

"...I was too scared, to."

Zeke had... mixed emotions.

He wondered if Angela would ever truly trust him again. Or if he even deserved it.

But he then sighed, before it hit him.

"I..." he stammered.

"Is... is this the first time you've been so willing to... well... make sure someone's dead?" he asked her.

"I don't think I've ever heard such a sentiment from you before."

Zeke was... speechless.

He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"I... I..." he stammered.

"Are.. are you saying that... you... you forgive me?" he asked.

"Or is this just a 'let's try to return to standard for Liv' thing?" he asked further.

"Because, either way, I'm just happy you still feel like I deserve to be in both of your lives." he reasoned with a small smile.

"It's more than I deserve." he finished, sounding genuinely happy.

Aly sighed.

"We are." she said, following Arissa.

"To be fair, it's taken us a while to get to this point." she then commented.

"But I've been meaning to go shopping for some, just so we have." she went on.

"Just never found the time to." she lamented.

"You know what I mean!" Zeke hastily responded.

"It's happened! It can happen again! I am susceptible to her!" he continued.

"What if it happens again!?" he asked.

"What if it goes further!?" he went on.

"Are you willing to put the safety of you and Liv up for that bet?" he asked further.

"...what if... I'm still a danger...?"

Zeke wasn't sure what to say to all that, but then the first thing she said fully registered.

"...to me?" he asked.

"Wait... what?" he asked her.

"You would even let me near her now?" he then inquired.

"After all that?" he continued.

"Angela, I... I... that... I mean..." he stammered, before he started crying.

"How can you trust me ever again?" he asked.

"...good. Cain is all right." he said.

"And Liv doesn't know." he went on.

"It should stay that way." he reasoned.

"She doesn't need to know about this. About... what I did. How I... threatened her." he said further.

"..." he was then silent, before biting his lip.

"But what do we say now?' he asked.

"Do we tell her the truth about... my absence?"

"......." Zeke was silent.

"I see." he said.

"I guess she... doesn't know." he went on.

"About what I did. What I said. How I acted." he continued.

"..." there was another pause, before he sighed.

"...and what have you been telling her?" he asked.

"To respond to her questions."

Zeke was silent, but nodded.

He then left her, making his way to her office and going inside.

Once there, he sat down.

And waited.

He clasped his hands together and put them between his knees, before hanging his head low.

".......ngh." he grunted.

He was ready to lose Angela.

Actually, he wasn't. But he wouldn't blame her if she DID drop him.

As soon as she disposed of the gloves, she heard a voice.

It was behind her, and though it was close, she could barely hear it.

But she knew the voice.

"Um..." Zeke stammered, his tone unsure and guilt-laden.

"A... Angela?" he addressed her.

"Can... can we... talk?" he asked.

"I... well... I mean, we should." he said.

"After... what happened... what I've done..."

Zeke just bit his lip when she said that.

"I..." he stammered.

"I... I..." he stuttered further.

He then sighed quietly, and looked at her sheepishly.

"I'm scared." he admitted.

"I don't... I mean... I just... I'm just... scared." he said.

"But... but you're right. I need to... I need to just do it." he then continued.

"No matter what the result is... I need... to just go and try and talk to her."

Aly just giggled.

"I see." she said.

She then looked at Ryker, and smirked.

"Wonder if he even heard that." she mused.

"If he didn't, I hope he finds out about that sweet spot you have." she added with a wink.

"....." Zeke was silent for a moment.

"I still did... unforgivable things." he said.

"I... I can't even bring myself to face Angela." he admitted.

"How can I look at her again, after everything I said... and did..." he went on.

He then paused, before shaking his head.

"How are YOU doing?" he asked.

"Have you recovered from having to help me?"

"Hey." Zeke said.

"Thanks again. For... saving this Unit." he told her.

"I... it occurred to me that we haven't been properly introduced." he went on.

"I'm Ezekiel LeBlanc." he introduced himself.

"Most just call me 'Zeke', though."
