"Well, you can stick around if you want to." Jaden replied.

"Not like I have any real plans." he shrugged.

"I'll probably hang around here for a bit, then get my stuff back home." he told her.

"So yeah, wanna stick around, go ahead." he repeated.

"Unless you have other plans."

Jaden opened his mouth to say something, but paused.

And was silent for a moment.

"I..." he stammered.

"Well, I..." he started to say, before just stopping and sighing.

"Okay, okay, you made your point." he said.

"I'm not sure HOW I would have reacted, but... probably not well..." he then admitted, scratching the back of his head.

"...hm." he then muttered, shaking his head slightly.

"...." Jaden was silent, before sighing.

"Uh-huh." he said.

"Guess she found me." he muttered.

"Or... actually... wait..." he then said further, thinking about it.

"Long story short, I guess she's been keeping tabs on me. Met her in a bar some time ago, and she didn't tell me who she was." he summarised.

"Whatever." he mumbled.

"Wonder how much she told me was motivated by wanting me to change in regards to her or something..." he muttered further.

"That is fascinating." Jaden replied.

"I had no idea such a sword existed." he went on.

"You really DO find the wildest things." he chuckled.

"Thanks very much." he told her.

"And sorry about the guards earlier." he then apologised.

"They can be... twitchy here." he muttered.

"Especially when one is carrying weapons." he chuckled.

Jaden accepted the blade, and his eyes went wide.

"Wooooooah." he said.

"Holy crap." he muttered.

"I can feel the power this thing has." he told her.

"This will be amazing in my shows!" he exclaimed.

"Thanks, Demi!" he told her.

"This is JUSt what I've been looking for to spice up my act, and add variety to my show!"

Jaden was silent until Sydney left.

"What is it?" he asked.

"Like, what'd you come to drop off?" he asked further.

'I can't believe it.' he thought.

'She was my mother she entire time.' he continued.

'And didn't even tell me.' he growled internally.

He was feeling... VERY conflicted at the moment.

Jaden was silent.

But it was clear that he wasn't impressed.

He was shaking a little, and just turned away from her.

"....ngh." he grunted.

"Damn it." he cursed lightly.

"Well, thank you, Demi." he then said to the newcomer.

"Because of you, I now know who 'Vyn' truly is." he told her.

Jaden's mouth dropped, and he was honestly stunned.

"S-Sydney?" he asked.

"Sh-sh-Sherwood?" he asked further.

He was staring at Demi when this happened, before he turned to Vyn.

"Y... you..." he stammered further.

".....MOM!?" he then exclaimed.

Jaden froze as well, several things racing in his mind.

"Wait, wait, wait." he said.

"Hold on." he muttered.

"Nevermind the fact that you two seem to know each other." he commented.

"Sherwood!?" he then asked Demi.

"What do you mean, 'Sherwood'???" he asked further.

"The boxes are filled with mostly junk." Ryker replied.

"Old shirts and shoes of mine." he continued.

"They wear out quickly from my job." he said.

"I'll need to sort them and toss them soon." he went on.

"And the cooler is just in case." he then said.

"Maybe you actually want to spend the night in a tent, as opposed to the RV. I can put stuff in there to be available right at the tent."

Jaden just sighed.

"Right." he said.

He then peered out at the guards that were rapidly approaching.

"YO! CHILL!" he yelled.

"She's cool! She's a friend! And she's not here to hurt me!" he assured them.

The guards stopped, acknowledged this, and then turned to leave.

Jaden then looked the one that was there.

"Come on in." he told her.

"Sorry about the impromptu company, Vyn." he then apologised to Vyn, turning around.

"But of course, dear lady." Jaden responded in a matching overly-cordial tone.

The two of them made their way backstage, to where Jaden had been using as a dressing room, and he made his way to a mini-fridge.

"Want something to drink?" he asked.

"I got juice, water, and pop." he told her.

"I bring stuff with me to shows." he then said.

"Just so I know I'll have stuff I like." he shrugged.

"......" again, Jaden was silent.

"I... I see." he said.

"That's... uh... well... yeah, hm." he mumbled.

"That... sucks...? I literally can't think of a more appropriate way to put that." he lamented.

"Regardless, your secret IS safe with me." he repeated.

"Care to retire backstage for a bit of rest?"

"....huh." Jaden muttered.

"That... is actually really cool." he said.

"Seriously." he went on.

"It's awesome that you have a friend that would and did actually MAKE such a thing for you, and how you've managed to integrate them into your performances." he continued.

"I... thank you for letting me know all this." he then said.

"Odds are you don't want this information going about, yeah?" he asked.

"Because the secret's safe with me." he assured her.
