Jaden ordered the food, but couldn't help but be distracted by Vyn's lack of scent. Yes, the coffee not having an aroma was strange enough, but HER not having one threw him off a bit.

He reasoned that she wasn't human.

She worked for the Triad, that stood to reason.

'...but... what IS she...?' he asked himself.

"...so..." he then said.

"How long have you worked for the Triad?" he asked her.

"And what do you do there?" he asked further, trying to fish out a little more info about her, and what she might be.

"Cool." Jaden responded.

"I'll get pizza, then." he told her.

"And of course I have a coffee maker!" he exclaimed with a laugh.

"In the kitchen, rightmost cupboard." he said. "Everything else you'll need is with it." he added.

"And oh? Ambrosia, eh?" he then asked.

"Got a good blend?" he asked further.

"Looking forward to it."

A few seconds later, the door was opened, revealing Jaden, in a pair of jeans and a tight teeshirt.

"Come on in." he said.

"Make yourself at home." he told her, stepping out of the way.

"I was just getting ready to order some food in." he then said further.

"Want something?" he asked.

"And have a preference right now?" he asked further.

"Oh?" Jaden asked.

"You've intrigued me." he said.

"All right, you're on." he told her.

"I'm always willing to try new blends." he continued.

"Finding new favourites is always a rewarding adventure." he added with a light chuckle.

"Though Golden Heaven will be hard to top." he finished, exiting the car when she turned it off.

".......hmmmm." Jaden mumbled.

"I... hm." he repeated.

"It was... from China, I believe." he said further.

"It was called... oh! Fine Golden Heaven." he went on.

"Was really good." he continued.

"Really packed a whollop."

Jaden chuckled.

"On its own." he replied.

"It's amazing, and it keeps me going." he told her.

"It's practically ambrosia." he added.

"Left here." he then said.

"Then look for the sign with the glass of beer on it."

Jaden was silent again for a moment.

"Turn right here." he said.

"Then a left at Ellias street." he told her.

"And drink preference?" he asked.

"I like a nice whiskey, or rye. Straight, or mixed with dark soda" he said.

"But I'll tell you, there's nothing quite like an Irish coffee." he then went on.

"That just hits the SPOT!" he declared.

Jaden just sighed quietly.

"Yeah..." he said.

"It would be." he mumbled.

"I know I made mistakes in my past... big ones..." he went on, trailing off a bit. "But... well, I did manage to get past that." he continued.

"I've tried so hard to leave that in the past." he told her further.

"I want it to just be forgotten."

Aly just shook her head.

"I'm all right." she said.

"It's just been a bit since we fell asleep together." she told him.

"I'd like to do it before you and Ryker head out on your journey is all." she continued.

"That's all." she finished, before kissing him on the nose.

Jaden raised an eyebrow.

"Kid?" he asked.

"I mean, you look about 5 or 6 years older than me sure, but... kid?" he muttered.

He then shrugged.

"Oh well." he said.

"And how long have I been living here?" he asked. "Not... TOO long..." he admitted.

"But Italy? That file needs to be updated, then... haven't lived in Italy for a LONG while." he told her further.

"I HAVE been to Windsor, but... well, briefly." Jaden replied.

"I dunno, maybe we saw each other when I was there at one point, passing the street or something." he went on.

"Regardless, generic? I... hm. I don't see it." he admitted.

"I think you look really good, though." he told her.

"You're rather beautiful." he complimented her further.

"Got it." Jaden replied as she took off.

He directed her when need be, but something about her seemed... weird.

Off.

Like he knew her, even though he didn't recognise her.

"Hey." he then said.

"Sorry, but... have we met before?" he asked her.

"You ring this bell of familiarity in my mind."

Jaden's expression lightened considerably when Csilla said what she did.

"Heh. Thanks." he said.

"And sure." he told her.

"Let's go, Vyn." he said further, as she unlocked the car and he got inside.

"It's North from here." he told her.

"Place called 'The Sparkling Tap'." he continued.

"...ah." Jaden replied.

"I see." he said.

"Well then... if you'd rather scram, I understand." he told her.

"My past is... stained... to understate it." he muttered.

"So... yeah, I'll understand if you don't want to be around me." he sighed.

"Still, have a good evening." he then added.
