".........." Jaden was silent as his mother said what she did, and then sighed.
"Right." he said.
"So you want me to essentially be a rancher for some kids." he told her.
He then smirked for a moment, and chuckled.
"Sure thing." he said.
"Shouldn't be too hard to get some kids to stay in line." he reasoned, as he extended his arm out, created a black hole of swirling mana out of thin air, and reached inside it.

Jaden just shrugged, and then nodded.
"Sure." he replied.
He then followed her into the kitchen, and looked at her selection of blends.
"Hm." he mumbled.
"The Golden Falls blend." he told her.
"It's very rich, and I like that."
"Sure." he replied.

"Uh... yeah, sure." Jaden responded as he stepped inside.
He shut the door behind him, and sighed.
"Sure, some coffee would be great." he said.
"Feeling a bit tired, so the caffeine will help." he reasoned, as they walked further into the home.
"So what's this all about?" he asked her.
"You normally don't call me to your house to speak with me. It's normally the Triad or the guild." he went on.
"Everything okay?" he then asked.

He sighed quietly, as he tucked some of his blonde hair under his black woollen hat. He approached the old world house, and stopped at the door.
His blue eyes scanned the door, before locating the doorbell, where it always was. He then reached out, and pressed it, a chime echoing throughout the inside of the dwelling.
He then stood back, and dusted off his clothing, getting rid of some of the pollen that had fallen on him. His tee-shirt was a flat grey colour, and his jeans were slightly torn, faded, and dark blue. His sneakers were a basic black and white, which completed the ensemble, and complimented his pale skin.
Really, the other things on him that had ANY colour were his blue eyes, and his long blonde bangs, which hung down past his eyes.
"Mom!" he then called in.
"It's me, Jaden!" he said further.
His mother had called him to her home, saying she wanted to speak with him. But he knew not why, and part of him was concerned that it was something serious.
He hoped it wasn't, but he couldn't deny the possibility.

Sharp was silent for a moment, before he smiled. It was soft, sincere, but had a tiny hint of knowing satisfaction to it.
"Of course." he responded.
"It always does." he told her.
"Just tell me where to pick you up, or to meet you in front of the building." he then said, standing up and getting ready.
"Regardless... see you in a few." he finished.

Hal returned the embrace with a smile, before waving as she left.
When she was gone, he sighed, and made his way back to his desk, shaking his head a little.
"...well, that was a brief reunion." he mumbled.
"Oh well." he sighed.
-A few months later-
Hal had just finished briefing some of his agents on a mission, and they had just left the office. When they did, he cell phone rang, but the caller ID was a number he did not recognize.
However, his cell number was not something he gave out flippantly, so he was curious about who could be calling him.
"Hello?" he said when he answered it.

Just as she made it to the door, she felt his hand on her shoulder. He'd gotten up and made his way over.
"Allee, this place is always open to you." he told her.
"As a matter of fact, here." he said, digging out his wallet, producing a business card, and then scribbling something on the back of it.
"Work and cell numbers." he informed her, handing her the card.
"You can contact me at any time."

Hal was silent for a moment, before nodding.
"I understand." he said.
"You're free now. May as well act it." he reasoned with a small smile.
"It was wonderful to see you again, Allee." he told her.
"And I'm glad I was able to help you out."

Tyson was silent, and then sighed.
"Mmmm, yeah. I have an odd relationship with religion and deities." he said.
"At any rate, I'm glad I was able to be of service." he told her.
"Now, I take my leave. I am quite done with being in charge." he said further, which caused Sharp to laugh a little.
"All right." he said.
"Thank you, Ty." he echoed.
"No problem, Hal." Tyson replied, before looking at Allee.
"And you are very welcome." he told her.
They then said their goodbyes proper, and he left the office. When he did, Sharp sat behind his desk, and looked at Allee.
"Allee, you are free to stay here in the dorms if you like." he told her.
"But it is entirely your decision now. Literally." he added with a sincere smile.

Ty just nodded.
"Very well." he said.
"I, Tyson King, wish for the djinn known as Allee to be freed from this box. I want the binds that tie her to this contain severed. Shattered. Broken." he finished.
It was then that manacles of gold seemed to form around Allee's wrists, with gold chains that connected them to the glass box. Both the chains and the manacles started to glow brightly... almost blindingly so... before they seemed to just dissolve into ashes... and then dissipate into thin air.
The box then started to shake and rumble in Ty's hands, causing him to throw it up into the air. It then shattered into what looked to be stardust, before it gently started to float down, the particles dissipating into the air as well.
"Very well." he said.

"Still." Ty responded.
"It's only right to thank you." he said.
"Any any rate." he then went on, holding the box ahead of himself a little.
"Do... I need to use her real name? Or... the name she goes by? Or what?" he asked.
"I know that these kinds of wishes are tricky, and one needs to word it EXTREMELY specifically." he went on.
"And I don't want to screw this up."

Ty just smiled.
"Excellent." he replied.
"That's... a relief." he told her, and she could see how sincere he was. His tone and expression showed that he was genuinely glad that the feline would recover.
"Thank you." he said to her.
Hal just smiled.
"THOSE are two words we djinn aren't used to hearing." he commented.

Ty thought for a moment, and then nodded.
"Yes. I accept." he replied.
Sharp then sighed, and handed the glass box to Ty. When he did, Allee felt herself become 'shackled' to Ty.
"My partner and roommate, Miki Vierayen, she has a little white kitten. And she loves that thing with all her heart. And it loves her back." he told the djinn.
"However, recently, it's become very ill. It's become sluggish, it's not eating, and it's looking like the worst is going to happen. And no vet can determine what is wrong, let alone cure it or help it." he continued.
"And I know that the kid will be devastated if that kitten dies because of this." he went on.
"So my wish is simple. I wish for Miki Vierayen's white kitten to make a swift, clean, and complete recovery." he told her, making his official wish.

Hal's eyes widened for a moment.
"Ah... ah, right." he said.
"Yes. Yes, it is good that I have my freedom." he told her.
"I'll get to that 'old fart' comment in a minute." he then said, before looking at Ty.
"Say again?" he asked.
"If she wants to be freed from her container, then I'll do it." Ty repeated.
"I'm here. I'm a human. I can have possession of a djinn's container, and make whatever wish I want." he reasoned with a small shrug.
