"Uh.... hm." Illias mumbled.

"Restaurant? I guess?" he said.

"But will it be ok?" he asked.

"I kind of stand out..." he said further.

"To understate it."

Illias got off the bike as well, and looked at her.

"Er... yeah, sure." he said.

"I could eat." he told her.

"Haven't eaten in a little over a day." he then admitted quietly.

"Where are you thinking?" he asked her.

"WOAH!" Illias exclaimed as they sped off, leaving the mob farther and farther behind them.

"Wow!" he said.

"This bike IS fast!" he told her.

"Thank you for this, by the way!" he then shouted, aiming to be heard over the motor.

"You just literally saved my life!"

Illias climbed onto the bike, and secured himself, holding onto her as well.

"All right." he said.

"I'm ready." he told her, before looking back.

"Better get going, and hope that what you say is correct." he then said.

"We have company." he commented, seeing a large group of people come into view, racing towards them.

"Let us be off." he finished, trying to remain calm, but Rylie could hear the underlying panic in his voice.

Illias had followed her, seeing no reason not to trust her.

It was either her or the mob. He'd rather take his chances with her, at the very least.

He then caught the helmet, and looked up towards the top of his head.

"All right, you lot." he said to the snakes.

"Lay down. Helmet inbound." he told them.

The serpents all then seemed to lay flat, as he put the helmet over his head.

"Just fits." he commented, getting closer towards her and the bike.

Helena flicked her tongue out some when her 'snoot was booped', before shaking her head some, and looking at Rylie curiously, flicking her tongue out again.

Which was when the other serpents on his head started to become more active.

Illias was silent for a moment, before sighing.

"Yeah, she can be adorable." he agreed.

"And yes, I DO need a place to hide." he admitted.

"Also... I... am?" he asked. "You're willing to do that?"

"She's a grabby one." the male replied, tugging at the ribbon some more, before the snake finally let go.

"Here." he said, handing it towards her.

"I'm Illias." he told her.

"And....... yeah." he mumbled. "I know." he said.

"I........ kinda stick out." he told her.

"Listen." he said, making a shushing motion with his finger.

When Rylie stopped and listened, she could hear a lot of angry people in the distance. A mob.

"You might want to make yourself scarce before you get dragged into this." he suggested.

The man looked at where her head was, before he gingerly picked her up, and handed her to her body. Once her head was in her hands, she looked at him.

And she saw that the ribbon that kept her head on was in his hair.

Or rather, in a snake's mouth.

"Hey." the man said.

"Helena. Let go." he told the snake, grabbing the ribbon. "Leggo. Not yours. Drop it!" he ordered, as though disciplining a pet or child.

"Eh?" he muttered, as he felt her looking for something.

When he looked at her... he saw she was headless.

"WAH!" he exclaimed.

"Your... your h-head!" he said, before pausing.

"Wait..." he mumbled.

"Wait, hold on..." he said further.

"You're... a dullahan?" he asked.

As she walked past an alley, she swore she heard panicked footsteps.

However, she didn't have time to react, as someone slammed into her. Literally.

"AGH!" the male exclaimed, as the both of them fell to the ground.

He then noticed that there seemed to be a ribbon stuck in his hair... and he heard something roll off.

"Crap, crap, crap!" he cursed.

"Sorry! I'm sorry!" he exclaimed.

"Just when you get back." he replied.

"Essentially, the deal is closed and you are satisfied with the outcome." he told her.

"Beyond that, no. Not right now." he said.

"Go on and get your bike." he told her with a smile.

"See you when you get back."

The door was answered by a skinny male, wearing glasses.

"Ah, yes." he said.

"Come on in." he told her.

When she did, they made their way to a desk, and they sat at it. When they did, he pushed a picture of a VERY nice motorcycle towards her. One that was better than her previous... not counting the mods she had made to her old one.

"There's your new motorcycle." he said.

"We managed to get it for you with a little help from a lawyer friend of Mister Sharp's." he told her. He then slipped her a business card.

"That's the dealership where the bike is. They'll be expecting you." he told her.

"It's in the next city over, but it's the best we can do." he said further.

"We can arrange travel for you, if need be." he then finished.

"2 days?" Azazel asked.

"Geez... that IS a while." he said.

"But yeah, there's plenty here." he told her.

"Rooms, food, exercise, food, you name it." he said.

"And you won't be judged." he went on.

"No matter what, you won't be judged."
Posted in Mythical Meetings and Demonic Dealings Posted 6 years ago
"All right then." Azazel responded.

"I'll take you to the cafeteria." he told her.

"You can get ANYTHING there." he said. "And I mean it." he went on.

"You name it, they'll make it." he assured her.

"How long HAS it been, anyway?" he then asked.
