"You two know each other?" Sharp asked.

"Yeah..." Azazel responded.

"In a good way or a bad way?" Sharp asked further.

"Good." Azazel told him.

"Ah, good. Then you're in charge of showing her around." Sharp then said. "She's working for us now." he finished.

"Was the field mission successful?" he asked Azazel.

Azazel nodded in response.

"Then brief me later." Sharp told him.

"All right." Azazel responded.

"Come on, then." he said to Roxie. "I'll answer your questions as we walk." he told her, not forgetting the question she had asked him.

Sharp looked confused for a moment, just as his secretary buzzed him.

"...send in who just showed up." he said when he answered.

"How did you know?" she asked him.

"Special circumstances. At any rate, send them in." said.

After that, the call was ended and the door opened, revealing Azazel.

"Hey boss, I'm-" he started to say, before he noticed who was there.

"...........Roxie?"

"All right then." Sharp said.

"Everything seems to be in order." he told her.

"I'll have someone show you around." he said further, before thinking about him.

"Hmmm..." he mumbled. "Who would be best...?" he wondered, before nodding.

It was then that Roxie felt a VERY familiar presence just outside the door.

"Something up?" Sharp asked her, having noticed her shift in awareness.

Hal just smirked slightly.

"I think you'll fit in nicely here." he commented.

They then made their way to his office, where they sat at his desk.

"Here." he said, sliding some papers over towards her.

"The employment agreement, as well as the boarding agreement." he told her.

"Read them over and sign them, and then I'll have someone give you the tour of our building."

"Just... let me know if I start acting all... archangel... around you." Zeke replied.

"I DO slip up from time to time, and need to be called on it." he admitted.

When she nodded in response, Hal nodded as well.

"Right then, let us be off." he said.

With that, the three of them parted ways, Zeke going one way, Hal and Roxie going another.

"See? He's all right." he told her.

"A good guy."

"Well.... hm." Zeke muttered.

"Yeah." he said.

"Mostly because the one upstairs is VERY forgiving." he told her.

"And the one downstairs is... um... hm. Well, she tries, but not hard." he went on.

"I guess it's more of a... 'do it because it's expected'." he guessed.

Again, Zeke was silent, before sighing.

"...if I was actually a full Archangel, then odds are I wouldn't have been able to." he admitted.

"I'm... a Nephilim. A half-breed." he told her.

"I suppose my human half mellows me out some." he went on, before pausing again.

"That, and... well... my Mom beat it into my skull to not judge based on what one is..." he then admitted sheepishly, looking off to the side slightly.

"What am I going to do about it?" Zeke asked in response.

"Try desperately to not do what my boiling blood is telling me to do." he told her darkly.

"Ah-HEM!" Hal cleared his throat loudly.

"Zeke, this is Roxie. She is going to be working here." Hal said authoritatively.

"...." Zeke was silent for a moment, before sighing.

"I guess we'll need to try and get along." he said to Roxie.

"Roxie, this is Zeke." Hal then said to the succubus.

Hal looked to her, and sighed.

"Yeah." he said.

Just then, from around a corner, a taller, muscular male stepped into view, and started to head towards them... and she knew that the crushing aura was from him.

"Hello, Zeke." Hal greeted the male.

"Hello, chief." Zeke responded, before looking at Roxie.

"........" he was silent for a long moment, as he sized her up and down.

"Succubus." he said, addressing her.

"Hmmmmmm..." Hal muttered.

"Just to have an open mind, and try not to be judgemental." he told her.

"We have some sensitive people here, that don't like it when they're judged." he said.

"Some take even shock or surprise as an insult." he sighed.

"Other than that, you'll learn what and who you need to be wary of as you work and live here." he went on.

"Oh, and don't worry about Zeke." he then added.

However, before she could ask him who Zeke was... she felt an almost-crushing presence approaching. A heavenly one, but one of fury and wrath.

"Girlfriend." Hal told her.

"But they're very happy together." he said.

"Y-yeah." Jake replied.

"We are." he confirmed.

"Please... move along, now." he told them.

Hal just chuckled again.

"Come on to my office." he told her, before starting to walk.

"Well, it shows why the boss has you here." Jake responded.

"He's good at spotting people's potential." he told her.

"Come on." Hal said.

"Jake's not normally this nice." he commented.

"Let's go before he starts proposing to you, and we all face Anya's wrath."

"......." Jake was silent for a moment, before lowering his paper and looking at her.

"I assume you're apologizing for this sudden fascination and infatuation I'm feeling for you?" he asked.

Hal just sighed.

"We're going to be working with her to make sure that doesn't happen." he said.

"....yep." Jake muttered.

"That's good." he said.
