All of them seemed to stop arguing when Vicki said what she did, and looked at her.

"........" there was silence for a moment, before one of them stepped forward.

"THERE you are." they declared.

"The state of the Council is getting to be abysmal." they told her.

"More and more, it seems we're having incidents, and today it seems to have all culminated into chaos!" they went on.

"How do you reconcile that!?" they demanded.

He was silent as she said what she did, in the tone she did.

He then stumbled out of the room, muttering to himself.

With that, she was left alone... but she could hear noises and conversations outside the room.

Arguments. Lots of them.

And they seemed to be pretty heated as well... which was odd. Normally things ran smoothly here, but right now, there was so much friction and unease, it was unreal.

"Hmph." he muttered.

"As you wish." he said.

He then started to leave the room, before pausing... and falling to one knee.

"Ogh..." he groaned.

"Ugh... oh geez.." he muttered.

"Sudden wave of... not feeling so good." he mumbled, as he tried to get up again, but found that he needed to steady himself on the wall to do so.

He was silent as she said what she did, before biting his lip some.

"Yeah, sure, Vicki." he said.

"You got it." he told her.

He then growled a little, and stood back up.

"Dumb ass." he said.

"How the hell'd he even get in here? Security is lacking." he snarled further.

The one between the two of them paused as he saw this occur.

"Ohhhhh geez..." he mumbled, as the man collapsed to the floor.

"Oh wow..." he said further, before kneeling down and checking the would-be assailant.

"He's out of it." he told her.

"Solidly. He might be..." he went on, trailing off at the end, knowing she'd know where he was going with that.

The one that she was with suddenly got between her and the man.

"Enough!" he said.

"This won't solve anything!" he told him.

"Shaddup!" the man responded.

"Me sis is all I got! I won' let ye take her away from me!"

He just sighed as all was said, before he heard the same noises she did.

"....." he was silent for a moment, before standing up.

"Let's check it out." he told her.

"We need to see what's going on." he said.

"Put a stop to anything that may be escalating, if you know what I mean." he then reasoned.

"Do you want to come with me, or are you staying here?" he then asked.

Jack just shrugged and started to follow the woman.

Levi growled at them, before disappearing in a burst of flames.

"He never changes." Jack said.

"He refuses to drop that flame." he sighed.

"You really do have a lot of patience with him."

They watched as Stephanie walked off, and the larger one looked at the other two.

"Hm." he muttered.

"Maybe I'll hang around here as well." he said.

Jack just rolled his eyes.

"Let it go, Levi." he said.

"It's in the past. You blew it."

"What did you say!?" Levi growled at Jack.

"I'll head across the ocean." the larger man said.

"Plenty of unrest over there." he went on. "Should prove to be... quite productive and amusing." he added, almost gleefully.

Jack just sighed.

"I don't have to go anywhere or do anything." he told them.

"My mere presence essentially makes all that you guys do... well... have results."

The larger one shook his head.

"Stephanie, you underestimate yourself." he said.

"You may be the most inconspicuous of us all." he told her.

The other male, Jack, rolled his eyes.

"He IS right, though." he said.

"But for now, we need to be as passive as possible."

The larger male looked at the smaller female, and chuckled.

"Oh yes!" he agreed.

"That's why we're here, after all." he reminded her.

The other male just rolled his eyes.

"We need to pace ourselves." he told her.

"And we need to worry about potential threats and barriers." he then reminded them.

"We don't need to overlook something that potentially can stop us."

"Indeed." the thinner male commented.

"We can take on anyone!" the larger man declared.

"Don't be foolish!" the first male snapped.

"Order mana is nothing to sniff at. Even diluted, it is troublesome." he said.

"Hmph." the larger male snorted.

"Regardless, he's nothing to worry about right NOW." he said.

"It seems they are still unaware of our presence."

Meanwhile, as Vito left with the man, unbeknownst to anyone, a quartet of people were watching from a safe distance, 2 males, 2 females. One looked to be a slender and curvy woman, while another looked to be a younger girl. The males were one of average build, and one that was far more muscular, even more so than Lindsay.

"Ha! Ha-ha!" the larger male laughed.

"It's amazing what our mere presence can do!" he bragged.

"Hm." the other male mumbled.

"But that one that showed up out of nowhere. He has considerable skill and mana to have pulled off what he did, and saved that youg lady." he commented.
