"We have an eclectic group here." Sharp responded.

"We find a role for everyone. There's a place for everyone, and everyone has their place." he told her.

"Just think about it." he said.

With that, he took the badge that he had given her, and replaced it with an ID card on a lanyard.

"To show you are a guest here, now." he explained.

"Agent King, would you show her to the guest dorms?" he then asked Ty.

"Yup." Ty responded, before looking at Sierra.

"Come on." he said to her.

"We'll mention that to Sharp." he told her.

With that, they entered the building, and made their way to Sharp, briefing him on all that had happened, and how they had succeeded in their mission.

"Excellent." Sharp replied.

"Now, then." he said, addressing Sierra.

"Thank you so much for the information, and helping us stop those banshees." he told her.

"Tell me, are you interested in a position here?" he asked her.

"Or, at the very least, can we offer you a place to stay for now, so you can rest and recuperate, as thanks for what you've done?" he asked further.

"......." Ty said nothing, before shaking his head.

"You look like you can barely keep yourself upright." he commented, before getting in front of her and kneeling down.

"Get on my back." he said.

"I'll take you to Sharp." he offered.

"As you said, the sooner this gets done, the better. And this'll be quicker." he reasoned.

Again, Tyson just sighed.

"My life has been... difficult." he told her.

"I have an inkling as to what sort of food I would be for those like you." he said.

He noticed that she hadn't responded to his question, but he would broach it later. For now, they needed to get back to the Unit and report to Sharp.

"Anyway, come on." he told her.

"We need to get back and report in." he said.

"Let Sharp know we succeeded."
Posted in Mythical Meetings and Demonic Dealings Posted 6 years ago
"I see." Ty responded.

"Sounds like a hassle." he said.

"Listen... one of the people at the Unit has made a deal with a Tenes." he told her.

"It's a strange set of circumstances, but they've formed a sort of symbiotic relationship." he went on.

"If you need it... I can let you feed off of me."
Posted in Mythical Meetings and Demonic Dealings Posted 6 years ago
"Required." Ty said.

"So you NEED it." he said further.

"I see..." he mumbled.

"Just out of curiosity, what happens if you go without?" he asked her.

"It is absolutely necessary for your continued existence?" he asked further.

"Or... well, what's the situation with you and needing pain as sustenance?"
Posted in Mythical Meetings and Demonic Dealings Posted 6 years ago
"....hm." Ty muttered.

"We." he said.

"You're different, but still the same." he commented.

"You need to feast on pain, huh?" he asked her.

"Tell me." he said.

"What does pain taste like?" he inquired.

"................" he was silent for the longest time, before he slowly came to his senses.

"Ngh." he groaned.

"Well, then..." he said.

"I've been through hell in the past. At least, I thought I did." he commented.

"Guess I hadn't seen anything yet." he mumbled.

"So... did we do it?" he asked.

"Is the city safe?"
Posted in Mythical Meetings and Demonic Dealings Posted 6 years ago
".....ngh." he growled, as he grabbed his chest.

He felt it all. The pain. The loss. The sorrow. It was all bubbling up in his heart, and it was all coming to the surface.

"No..." he said quietly.

"Why were you taken from me?" he whispered.

"Why did you have to suffer like you did? Why did -I-?" he asked further.

"...god damn it all." he cursed, as he felt the tears welling up under his eyes.

"........" Tyson was silent, before nodding.

"Right." he said.

He then sighed, and made his way to the building, looking at the door. He then looked back at Sierra, before stepping inside, and looking at the broken and dilapidated interior.

"....how fitting." he said.

"A broken setting for a broken man." he muttered.

"Granted, one that's in the process of being fixed, but still. Broken." he lamented, before going to a chair that still had some support to it, and sitting down in it.

"Guess all I need to do is wait."
Posted in Mythical Meetings and Demonic Dealings Posted 6 years ago
Tyson just sighed.

"I've bled a lot in my life." he told her.

"No reason to have an issue with it now." he reasoned.

"So do whatever you need to." he finished.

"Just let me know when I need to do what I need to do and all that." he went on.

He then shook his head slightly, and looked skyward.

"Grey sky. How fitting." he murmured.

"........" Tyson was silent for a moment.

"Plenty of times." he said.

"I opened my heart when I met my wife. She helped me realize life wasn't so bad." he told her. "But then she was cruelly taken from me." he went on.

"Again, I opened my heart, and let my anger and thirst for vengeance turn me into what I am now. A regenerator." he said further, revealing what he was.

"I've seen a lot of people come and go in my life." he continued. "And I grew colder and more distant with each passing generation." he told her.

"Until I met someone, again. And she's slowly doing for me, what my wife did centuries ago."
Posted in Mythical Meetings and Demonic Dealings Posted 6 years ago
"No." Tyson responded.

"Let's go." he told her, as they made their way to his bike. Once they were there, they got on, and he started to drive off, exceeding the speed limit, but making sure he was taking more discreet routes.

"So what do I need to do?" he asked her loudly.

"Just exist and wait?" he asked further.

"Or is it more complicated than that?"
Posted in Mythical Meetings and Demonic Dealings Posted 6 years ago
Sharp nodded in response.

"Thank you, as well." he said.

"Come on." Ty said to her. With that, they stood up and left the office.

"Anything before we go?" he asked.

"Or are we headed straight to my vehicle, and driving?" he asked further.
