Ilias withdrew his fangs after a moment or two, and cleared his throat, a little flustered from the first comment she made.

"Yes. Well." he mumbled.

"What do we need to do NOW?" Azazel asked.

"Well, I'll need a sample of her blood." Ilias responded, more talking to Nate now. "I'll take it back to the lab and experiment on it. Find out if my OWN petrification venom can be used to reverse it, or if one of my snakes' venom can." he continued, as Helena poked her head out from beneath his hair.

"Once that's figured out, Azazel's mana will be needed to amplify the effect, and counter the demonic aspect of this." he then added.

"Still, it's impressive that you were able to halt it, alone." Nate commented.

"From what I can tell, it's because this is, relatively speaking, a weak form of petrification. I mean, yes, it's still a person turning to stone, but overall? I've seen a lot more potent from non-demonic entities. Gorgons, basilisks, etc." he explained.

"Meaning Ebraxis effectively short-changed that Edward guy on the deal." Azazel then chimed in. "...or he wanted it this way so he could enjoy the process. Either way, good news for YOU." he said to the woman before them.

Ryker had been laying on one of the couches in their den when he heard Eke's voice.

"...sounds a LOT more like him." he commented, getting up.

"Yo!" he called back.

"In the den!"

Savra nodded in response, before changing to their humanoid form.

"Of course." they replied.

"Come on." they said, as they allowed Eke to use them as support, and started to make their way downstairs.

"...there's a surprise for you in the freezer as well." they then told him.

Eke had missed his birthday... but that hadn't meant it had been forgotten. They all had something for him, and there was an ice cream cake waiting for him in said freezer.

"I know." Ryker responded.

"Trust me, we're holding off on this as long as we can." he promised her.

"But I can't stop the process of my body changing." he then said. "It's happening. And if I try and put THAT off, I'll end up looking like some mutant hybrid thing with various different parts that look like they're haphazardly grafted on." he warned.

When Eke finally woke, he found he wasn't alone.

Savra was at his feet, and had perked up when he spoke.

'Are you all right?' they asked him telepathically.

Ilias thought for a moment, before nodding.

"Right." he responded, before making his way closer to her.

"...my apologies if this hurts a little too much." he said quietly, before lifting her shirt up a little and finding a clear spot on her lower back and opening his mouth. She then felt him clamp down, and felt deep fangs penetrate into her.

It hurt for a brief moment, but then she swore she felt the creeping petrification just... stop.

It wasn't getting better, but it wasn't getting worse now.

Ilias was a bit surprised by how calm and polite she was, before clearing his head.

"Uh, right." he said.

"Yes, I am." he confirmed. "Ilias." he introduced himself.

"And I think I might be able to stop the process." he told her.

"And reverse it?" Nate asked.

"THAT will require Azazel's help, most likely, given what I was told." Ilias replied.

"For now, I need to find some... non-petrified exposed skin." he then told the woman.

Before either of them could answer, they heard a voice.

"Hello?" it asked.

"That answers THAT." Nate chuckled, before beckoning the owner of the voice over.

A few seconds later, Ilias with his short brown hair stepped inside, and paused when he saw the woman.

"Woah." he mumbled.

"THAT'S a bit unnerving."

Savra was now constantly sleeping at Eke's feet, and Aly was a lot calmer now... though she would spend almost all of her time with Eke.

Ryker had calmed down as well, and had spent most of HIS time outside, getting fresh air.

He sighed as he looked at one of his hands absently.

"...ruler of the underworld, eh?" he mumbled.

"Happenin' REAL soon..."

That was the first time Nate had ever been referred to as 'fascinating' because of his species. And to be mentioned in the same breath as a Greek god? He had to admit, it was flattering.

He then cleared his throat, and nodded.

"Sure thing." he said, as they entered the room, and Azazel was there.

"Hello again." he greeted her.

"We're waiting on ilias. He's an expect in petrification."

Nate paused when he heard all that, and she could see him process it.

"...you've met those like me before?" he asked.

"And... Asklepios?" he then asked her.

"I... okay, this is the first time I'VE ever heard that term before." he then admitted.

"When we're finished healing you up, I might need to ask you some questions." he went on.

"Because you seem to be the first person I've met that knows a lot about my ability."

"Yes, life aura." Nate responded.

"...it's what I call it." he said. "I have the ability to look at a person, and I can see how strong or how weak their life force is. And it manifests as an aura around them." he told her.

"Very helpful for a medic." he commented.

"And costs will be discussed later." he then said.

"Your health and safety come first." he assured her.

Savra was there trying to help him, as Aly got to her feet.

"...now you know." she said, rushing off to be with him.

"And everything's come crashing down." Ryker growled.

"Not allowed to have a nice life, is he?" he snarled.

Nate paused when she said the last bit, and looked at her.

"...fans?" he asked.

"Oh, guess you're a little on the famous side." he chuckled.

"Anyway, come on, I'll take you to the room we're prepping for you." he told her.

"We'll have Azazel and Ilias try and combine their strengths to try and reverse this." he continued, as the two slowly started to make their way towards the room in question.

"Thankfully we got to you in time." he said.

"It looks like it being... well... complete... was scarily not too far off." he then commented. "At least you still have mobility, so we caught it before serious damage was dealt, most likely."

She had appeared behind the receptionist's desk, due to it being a bit of an empty space. She saw a young man step into view, and when he looked at her, he recoiled slightly, before making his way over quickly.

"Good heavens." he said.

"You need help, and you need it NOW." he told her.

"Your life aura is flickering something fierce, but I can see you're still fighting and clinging to life." he commented further.

"But I promise, we'll help you recover as best we can." he then assured her.
