"Was about to ask you the same thing." Darrell chuckled.

"Whatcha want?" he asked.

"Something here at the cafe, or from one of the fast-food places they got here?" he asked further.

"I got enough for the two of us." he offered.

"Oh, and how do you want to get back to my place?" he then asked.

"We can go... the usual way... or catch a cab."

Darrell just chuckled and returned the hug.

"Hey, Jordan." he greeted her.

"Yeah, been a while." he agreed.

"Been super busy, admittedly." he went on.

"But at least you're out here now." he continued.

"How was the flight?" he asked.

"Comfortable enough?"

She continued to scan the crowd, until she saw a familiar figure practically jumping up and down to stand out to her.

It was Darrell.

He wasn't shouting or anything, mostly because he didn't want security to talk to him about the noise, but he wasn't sure if his voice would even carry over all the ambient sounds, anyway.

When he saw that she noticed him, he pointed to a small cafe that was built into the airport, before starting to make his way there.

She knew where to meet up with him now, anyway.

"That was the big issue." Ash said.

"It was clear to see that Kitt was in discomfort." he commented.

"While her sneezing was cute and funny, it became less so when she started to avoid the kitchen, even when food was involved." he went on.

"That's kinda sad." Darrell said.

"Well, it's in the past now." Ash told him.

"That, and Kitt still gets into stuff every so often and gets sneezing fits." Lindsay chuckled.

"For better or for worse." Ash said.

"Oh, the messes she would make." he chuckled.

"Remember when she got into the pollen flour?" he asked Ashleigh.

"THAT took a while to clean up." he said further.

"We kept finding surprise deposits for months." he laughed further.

"But she adapted surprisingly quickly." he added at the end.

"I... didn't know that." Darrell responded.

"It has to be VERY specially done." Ash replied, cutting a slice.

"Takes delicate fingers and precision." he went on, plating up cake for everyone.

"Kelly was a wonderful help." he continued.

"Maybe she has a future in chef-work, then." Lindsay said.

"Perhaps. It's her decision." Ash said.

"Heh." Darrell chuckled.

"I'm sure she'll appreciate that." he said.

"...." he was then silent, before sighing contentedly... just as Ash got up and disappeared to the kitchen for a moment...

...returning with a large cake.

"Dessert!" he declared.

"I didn't know there would be dessert." Lindsay admitted.

"Was meant to be a surprise for you all." Ash responded with a satisfied smirk.

"Ah." Evan replied.

This merely needed a small smack upside the head from Ash.

"Ah! Hey!" Evan exclaimed.

"Don't crap on Kelly's ambitions because you're jaded." Ash said.

Darrell just chuckled.

"I'm really gonna miss staying here." he commented.

Lindsay just chuckled.

"I think it would be an interesting profession for you to pursue." he said.

"Mmhmm." Ash mumbled.

"Whatever you feel comfortable in going after, sweetie." he told Kelly.

"..." Evan was silent, before shuddering.

"Seen enough teachers in school." he said.

"You REALLY wanna be hated by kids, Kelly?" he asked his cousin.

Ryker nodded.

"Gotcha." he said.

"At least you're comfortable here." he commented, as the fish continued to swim around Eke.

"....huh." he mumbled.

"It's like they know you're here... but they're fine with it." he went on.

"Like they're not... scared of you. Wary, but not scared."

"Well, to be fair, you succeeded." Darrell responded.

"I am SO much better with cooking now." he told her.

"Indeed." Ash agreed.

"Kelly, you're quite the little tutor." he told his daughter.

"I'm sure Jaden and Desiree are grateful, too." he chuckled.

"Quite the feather in your cap."

Before anyone could say anything in response to that, Ash chuckled.

"Not surprising." he said.

"Was wondering when you'd move out." he told her.

"And it makes sense you'd go with Darrell." he then went on.

"Because they're almost always together." Evan muttered.

"Well, when Darrell's not roughhousing with YOU." Lindsay told him.

"So don't play the 'second-fiddle' card." he warned.

Evan just looked away sheepishly.

"She just wants some food..." he mumbled.

Darrell just laughed a little.

"Seems there's still plenty left." he commented.

"I made sure of that." Ash said.

"You won't have to worry about feeding yourself for a week!" he proudly declared, with a laugh.

"Can't help that." he replied.

Hours later, they had just finished eating, and were stuffed.

"Now THAT was a feast." Lindsay commented.

"With plenty left over." Ash added.

"There was even enough for SOMEONE to feed a certain SOMEONE ELSE 'secretly'..." he then said to Evan.\

Which was followed by contented Kitt noises from under the table.
