The hiss of the water hitting the empty mug was heard. Kaneko used a spoon to seep the leaves in the mug for a few minutes before scooping them up and throwing them away. Placing the spoon in the sink, she carefully made her way to the bedroom. "I've brought you the tea." She said softly. Hopefully it would work. She thought about what the book said about restoring eyesight. Was it actually possible, or was it just a rumor people thought to be true?

Maybe it was true. This wouldn't have happened if Maddie hadn't- wait no! This wouldn't have happened if Clint hadn't let Jess inside. He should have just left her outside and ignored her. "I appreciate you standing up for me though Mads, really I do." He said to her. She still wanted to do movie night with him, and he too wanted to do movie night with her. He didn't want this to ruin it for them. Clint smiled and nodded then looked at her finger, "We'll do first aid first, then we'll set up the movie and get the popcorn in a bowl. Sound good?" Maddie was a good girl, he hoped that she wouldn't ever change. He wanted her to stay this way always, she was kind, but if you got her angry she was scary. He'd keep that in mind so that he wouldn't accidentally make her mad. "I'll get the first aid kit." It wasn't hard to find and when he did, Clint made sure to take care of her finger first before putting the first aid kit away. He walked to the living room and started looking through his DVD collection. When he found the first Transformers movie, he set it up then left to the kitchen. Once there, he grabbed a large bowl and took out the popcorn bag from the microwave then opened it and poured the hot popcorn into the bowl before throwing the now empty bag in the trash.

Clint grabbed Jess' wrist and opened the door and practically threw her out before slamming the door shut and locking it up. "You come back, I'll call the police. I'm not even joking!" He yelled at her through the window. Looking at Maddie, "Mads...I'm...sorry you had to see that. I ruined everything didn't I?" He asked. Clint slowly made his way over and sat beside her, "Don't listen to her. Jess is just...a f-ing mess." He muttered. He wasn't sure if Jess would actually leave him alone now, even after hearing her car leave. She'd probably come back another time. Or she'd torment him with calls. He could always just hang up if she called though.

Jess started to laugh. "Jealous? Why the hell would I be jealous of you? Please. You've got nothing going for you. You're not even that pretty, I mean look at yourself. Clint needs a woman in his life, not a girl." She spat seriously, starting to march her way towards Maddie. "I should honestly hurt you for all the mean things you're saying. I am not poison so I'd shut up if I were you!" She hissed, raising her hand to slap Maddie across the face. "Okay, okay no...come on just stop. Jess don't you dare put a hand on her or so help me god." Clint warned. He was done, he had snapped as well and it was easy to tell he was pissed off right now. Hearing him, Jess looked at him, "You actually care about this runt?" She asked and snickered. "Please Clint, you're not fooling anyone."

Oh dear, this was bad. Maddie wasn't backing down and Jess didn't look like she was backing down either. He knew he had to put an end to this before it got any worse. "You just don't want me here because you know that I'm better for him than you are. I get it, you want him to myself and I don't blame you, he's a looker isn't he? But you're just a kid. You should be out playing with other kids your age and drinking from juice boxes. This is big girl stuff, I suggest you just stay out of it little girl." Jess sneered. "Jess, please just stop it already okay? Stop trying to pick a fight with her, you need to leave now. I won't be held responsible if anything happens." Clint warned. "Oh hush Clint. She's not going to do anything. She's just talking, and I don't mind letting her talk all she wants, it isn't going to change anything." Jess answered simply, glancing back at Clint and smiling. "She just doesn't understand that what you and I have is special and no one can ever replicate it. You and I belong together Clint."

Hearing Maddie's voice come up, Clint looked at her and shook his head. What was she doing? He hadn't wanted this to happen. For Jess to see her, who knew how she'd react. Jess looked at Maddie and smirked, placing her hands on her hips. "Really? That's who you're sleeping with now? That child? Clint...that's not very good." Jess said. "Oh shut up Jess, she's not six and I'm not sleeping with her." Clint retorted. Jess wasn't buying it. She looked at Maddie and raised an eyebrow. "I am not harassing him. I'm visiting him and having a simple conversation with him. Is that so bad? Besides, who the hell are you and why are you listening in on our conversation? That's very rude you know. I guess your parents never taught you any manners. Trust me, I know what Clint likes and what he doesn't like. I've known Clint for a very long time and I know him better than you do. So I would drop the act little missy."

"Enjoy your food and drink. I'm going to go make this. Hopefully it helps." Kaneko said and excused herself from the room. The herbs had been put away in plastic bags to keep them fresh but before she took out the one in the bag, she had to step outside again and collect the one from outside. "Not too much, just enough. I don't want the entire plant either. Just a few leaves for the tea.." She said to herself as she carefully plucked a couple of leaves from the plant then ran back inside. Boy was it cold out there. Inside, Kaneko walked to the kitchen and put some water in the teapot and waited for it to boil on the stove top. As she waited, Kaneko dropped the leaves in a clean mug then plucked some from the other plant that Allen still had some of. She only took a few leaves, wanting to keep some in case they needed this again. She dropped the leaves in the mug, then sealed the plastic bag again and put it away. She was tempted to add sugar, but she wanted this to be all natural.

Mia quietly walked beside them on the way to the cafeteria where they each got their lunch and went to sit at a table. It was not surprising to see that Mitsukuni had gotten plenty of sweets. It really was strange though. "How is it you eat so much sweets? Don't you ever get sick?" She asked him curiously. Honey shook his head. "Never. And I take very good of my teeth so I don't get any cavities. I always remember to brush my teeth and if I ever forget, Takashi reminds me." The young boy replied.

Seeing the tall blonde approach, Haruhi was surprised as were the twins. "T-tamaki-senpai! We thought you would be with Kyoya-senpai." She saod. "Boss." The twins said, saluting him then chuckling. "If Kyoya-senpai isn't with you...then he must be in the club room. We need to go there." Haruhi explained seriously. "We don't all have to go, Kaoru and I will go since we have to ask him something about...some class work...stuff." Hikaru explained, hoping it would be an excuse that was believed. Haruhi wasn't an idiot though. She knew they were hiding something...but what? Was it about their family emergency? Why didn't they tell her or Tamaki about it though. "Yes we should really get going now. Bye!" Kaoru agreed and quickly started walking away with Hikaru at his side, the two making a beeline towards the club. "Hmmm....those two are hiding something." Haruhi said to Tamaki, her eyes narrowing.

True, it didn't hurt to try. What did they have to lose anyway right? His health was her priority right now. So yes, perhaps once he was feeling better, they could give this a try. To have him be able to see again, it made her smile because she knew it would bring him so much joy to be able to see the world again. "Of course. Once you're better...we'll give this a try." She agreed. "I'll go and start on that tea then alright?" Kaneko informed, closing the book and putting it back where it belonged.

"Someone else?" Clint repeated and looked at her. "What the- Hold on, why does it matter anyway?" He asked. "Oh, so there is? What's her name? Is she the reason you didn't want to come over yesterday? Is she here right now?" The onslaught of questions surprised. Why did she need to know everything about his life? She was infatuated with him and it was not flattering at all. She wasn't his mother or his sister to demand details about his life with whoever he shared it with. "I'm not answering any of your questions Jess." Jess narrowed her eyes and looked around the room. She didn't see anyone right away, maybe Clint really was alone today. All the better for her right? "Well your popcorn is done so why don't we just have a seat, and watch some movies together just the two of us. It will be fun. And I'll sleep over, like old times." She reminded with a wink, making Clint groan. "Oh come on now, don't act like you don't like the idea. You never complained before."

Honey sat comfortably on his cousin's shoulders and waited patiently for Mia to join them. Mia walked out of the classroom and saw that both were waiting there. Were they waiting for her? "You both made it. I was starting to think you wouldn't show up." she admitted to them. Honey shook his head. "I fell to sleep again. T-that's why we were late. But it's okay because we didn't skip class. Do you want to sit with us for lunch Mia? It will be fun! We can talk about how cute my bunny is." He said, showing off Usa-chan to her. Mia looked at the bunny and chuckled. "Alright then, I'd love to." She agreed. It was nice of him to invite her to lunch with them.

The three of them headed towards the cafeteria to grab lunch. On their way there, the twins didn't see Kyoya and when they got there he was nowhere to be seen either. "Why don't we just call him?" Kaoru suggested. "Who do you want to call?" Haruhi asked curiously. "Kyoya-senpai. Just to ask if he's coming to lunch or not." Hikaru answered. Haruhi looked confused. "Well...maybe he is spending lunch hour at the club room. Maybe he and Tamaki-senpai are working in there. We can go visit them if you really want to talk to him."

"Fine, I'll say what I have to say and leave." Jess began, her eyes on Clint. "You're telling me you don't feel anything towards me anymore? Nothing at all?" She asked, approaching him. Clint frowned as if debating what to say. This pleased Jess and she grinned. "I knew you weren't over me like you say you are." She cooed, pinching his cheek. Clint wanted to hide. He wanted the ground to swallow him up. "Okay, that's it Jess. You need to leave. What happened between us is over. Yesterday was a mistake. I shouldn't have kissed you...but you just...I don't know. You just need to go, please. There will ever be a second chance between us. I want to settle down...you don't. I'm tired of repeating myself with you Jess. Really, I am. I just...I'm sick of this constant begging on your part. It's not attractive at all. You need to move on. Seriously." Clint told her, holding her wrist and lowering her hand away from his cheek. "Just stop." He whispered. "Is it because there's someone else?" Jess asked suddenly.
