"So that's it? You kissed me yesterday and you're telling me you want nothing to do with me? That it meant nothing to you? Didn't you stop to think that maybe it meant something to me?" Jess told him. "I did. And I understand that you might think I love you...but I don't Jess. I like you, I don't hate you. But I could never love you anymore. I loved you at one point....but then we grew apart after college. I thought it would be best to just break it off..I was busy working three jobs and looking for a place of my own. It wasn't easy but you were out partying and getting wasted! How the hell was I supposed to just sit back and pretend that we were okay? We weren't. It's why we broke up...and you know that Jess. You had your chance and you blew it. I have to get back to work now. Don't come back here again, don't look for me. You want to talk, you call the house." Clint warned and left back to work on the car some more before the boss got upset.

Haruhi understood Takashi's silent answer. He and Mitsukuni were family, very close. She quietly followed the other two out and closed the door behind her. The twins were fine...wherever they were. Kyoya had said it was a family matter. Were their parents hurt? Well, she could ask questions the next time she saw them. For now, she walked into her class and took her usual seat.

Honey slept for a few minutes longer before slowly waking up and rubbed his eyes sleepily. "Oh...e-everyone is gone." He noted quietly, sitting up and turning to see his cousin was still there. It made the boy smile, happy to see he had been waited for. "Sorry Takashi. We're going to be late because of me."

Kaoru pinched the bridge of his nose hearing the woman make a scene outside. It clearly wasn't helping Alice feel better. "Should we go talk to her?" Hikaru asked. Kaoru shook his head. "It will make matters worse. At least we know she won't be allowed inside to see Alice now. Maybe now you can rest a little easier." He said and frowned. "You can't leave until your mother picks you up?"

Standing up, Clint walked out of the garage so that the other men wouldn't have to listen to this conversation. "I'm all ears." He said to her, using a rag to wipe off some grease from his hands. "I wanted to talk about last night. Was that...for fun or?" She asked wrapping her arms around herself. Clint sighed. "I knew you'd want to talk about that. Why didn't you just call me? Why are you coming to my work place?" Clint asked her. "I wanted to see you again Clint. Is that so bad?" She answered. "What happened yesterday shouldn't have happened. But it did. It doesn't mean anything though Jess. You and I are done. We've been done for years now. If we could make it work, I'd love to...but we can't. I don't know what else you want me to tell you." She stepped closer, making Clint uncomfortable. "Maybe we can make it work Clint." She offered with a hopeful smile. "We can't. You...you want someone to travel with, to jump in bed with you whenever you want it. Someone to go out partying with. I don't want that. That was fun when I was a freshman in college. But I'm not a freshman in college anymore Jess." He explained to her. He didn't know what else to do. But he didn't want to hurt her feelings either.

"Please just leave me alone Jess. We can be friends...but that's all we'll ever be."

A family matter, that didn't exactly help the nerves calm down. If anything it just made Haruhi more nervous. However, she knew standing around wouldn't do any good. They had classes to attend to, so they might as well go and do that. "Yeah, we should get going. Thanks for letting us know about this Kyoya-senpai." She said and looked back at Takashi. "Are you not going to class today Mori-senpai?" She asked. Shortly after asking, she noticed Honey fast asleep. Poor guy probably didn't sleep any last night.

Mia looked at the door, frowning as the bell rang signaling the start of class. They weren't here. Well, maybe she'd see them after school at their club. She did plan on visiting it after school. At least for a little while, but she'd call her parents to let them know so that they didn't worry.

The twins smirked. A mischievous look on their faces and a devious glint in their eyes. "We have our ways." They answered in unison. Surely Kyoya would be able to find information on this man and he'd surely want to help given the current situation. When the sound of her mother's voice reached their ears, both twins glared in the direction of the door, but were relieved when it was just a nurse. Hikaru looked down at Alice and removed her hand from his jacket, instead holding it in his own in hoped of comforting her. "She shouldn't be allowed near her." Kaoru explained to the nurse.

Clint had forgotten to bring lunch to work...again. It had become the norm at this point though. He always would buy himself something small during his break. It was a pretty good day. Not too busy which was nice. Clint glanced around, so far, no sign of Jess anywhere. Relaxing some, Clint slid beneath the car, fixing it up. This was going to get him a pretty penny seeing as how bad the car was right now, but it wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He did have a co-worker helping him by passing the tools he needed one by one. Of course he was going to be a mess by the time he got home, he'd need a shower straight away unless he wanted to smell like oil and gasoline all day. There was a sound of a car engine and Clint froze. No surprise, he heard Jess' voice as the woman approached the garage. He was glad he was hidden beneath a car right now. "I'm looking for Clint." Jess said, and then his co-worker pointed him out. "Clint, are you hiding from me?" She asked. Clint sighed, "I'm busy Jess. Go away." He answered. "Clint please, we need to talk. It's important. Please?" Clint slowly slid out from under the car and gave her a look. "Fine." He answered.

Kaneko looked a little confused and set the mug down on the bedside table. "What did you have in mind Allen?" She asked him. Then he explained to her his plan. It seemed like a good idea and it would probably help. "So you want to make a herbal mixture, dip the cloth in it and have it on your forehead? I could do that and in pour some into a small vile with a dropper to use as eye drops as well. We have some herbs outside too, I can harvest a few of them if you'd like." She said softly. They did have a few herbs left, but to be fair they weren't that many. It was a risky thing but if it helped then that would be great.

((I know right? They're like an old married couple. Too cute!))

The teapot was filled with water and set on the stove for the water to boil. While she waited on that, Kaneko opened the cabinet and brought down a mug and set it on the counter. She then looked in the refrigerator and decided to make herself a little something to eat for breakfast. Scrambled egg burrito. Her stomach growled at the thought and she started to work on making that for herself. When the water was ready for his tea, Kaneko poured it gently into the mug then set the teapot back onto the stove after turning off the flames. She walked to the pantry and pulled out a box of peppermint tea. Kaneko took one of the tea bags and put the box back where it went then dropped the tea bag into the mug of hot water and drowned it there using a spoon. It had to steep for a few. During that time, she finished making her breakfast and ate it quietly by herself at the table. Afterwords, she threw out the tea bag from the mug, put the spoon in the sink and made her way to the room with the mug of hot tea. "Careful, it's hot." she warned after she entered the room.

He wouldn't forget the popcorn. Why kind did she like? Kettle or butter? Well that was something to worry about later. Right now he needed to get to work. Popping into her room to say bye, Clint smiled seeing her fast asleep there on her bed. He carefully took the time to tuck her in properly, "Goodnight mads." He whispered then headed out of her room and out of the house. The door was locked behind him and he got in his car then drove off to work. Be on the lookout for Jess, Clint. Don't let her seduce you anymore. Be in charge of yourself. It was easier said then done. He knew the moment he'd see her, that he'd fall again and give in just a little bit.

Kaneko felt her heart flutter in her chest when he spoke. He really was too good for her, but he had picked her and she wasn't complaining. He was her everything. Her beam of light when things looked really dark. She would do anything to take care of him and make him happy. To see that smile on his lips was everything to her. At least he was taking it easy. There wasn't really much else he could do at the moment. He wanted tea! Kaneko nodded. "Of course, of course! I will go get that for you right away. You just rest here and I will be right back with the tea okay?" She said then walked to the door but stopped and turned back. Instead, she walked to back to Allen and kissed his cheeks and then his forehead before leaving to get started on the peppermint tea.

The boy didn't need to be told twice before he closed his eyes and fell to sleep there on the couch by Takashi. Haruhi glanced back towards the door and saw that Kyoya himself was walking in as if he hadn't been late at all. The twins? "W-well are they okay? If something happened, you don't look very troubled about it Kyoya-senpai." Haruhi said quietly, keeping her distance. Of all the members of the club, he was the scariest. Probably because he always looked so calm, so you never knew what he was thinking.

Mia looked to the classroom door. She hadn't seen Takashi or Mitsukuni yet. Had they even shown up today? While debating on looking for them or not, she remembered Takashi mentioned a Kendo class. Mitsukuni had mentioned that they usually arrived late because of this. "Was that today?" She asked herself. Why was she so focused on seeing them again?

The twins stared at her as she spoke. It wasn't going to be easy, it was a pretty long process and time was not on their side sadly. "Then that's what we'll do." Hikaru said, startling his brother. "It's better than doing nothing. We'll give him a call, explain what happened. I'm sure that will be enough for him to come down and see her." Hikaru said to his brother. Kaoru pondered on this for a second. "I suppose it's the only option we have at the moment and we're not really in a position to postpone this action from taking place."
