Maddie was apologizing and Clint's eyes widened as he quickly shook his head. "Mads, it's not your fault. It's okay. You wanted me to go hang out with friends. You're totally okay. It's my fault that she wants to talk to me...a-and I think I know what she wants to talk about. Another mistake of mine." He said. Maybe he might as well tell her who she was. No..no it wasn't important and Maddie didn't need to know anything about Jess. It would probably just make things worse. "Cheer up yeah? We have movies to look forward to when I get back and I'm making popcorn. So don't worry, it will be like the real deal okay?" Clint explained to her, trying to cheer her up. "I have to go get ready for work. I'm leaving you my cell number right here on this notepad in case you want to call for whatever reason." He said to her, getting up he walked to the notepad on the refrigerator door and jot down his cell number and the hours of his break. "There you go. I'll see you later Mads. And thanks again for the reading, I do appreciate it." He told her, giving her a warm smile before walking away to his room to get ready for work.

Honey looked to his cousin and stared at him. "Hmm...yes. I did all my homework too a-and then I had a bit of sweets before bed. But I brushed my teeth, promise and then I went to bed but I don't remember what time it was." The smaller blonde frowned. Maybe he didn't get enough sleep. Homework was boring though, and there was a lot to do and to read. "Did you sleep well Takashi? I..I'm sorry for being sleepy still. I'm not a morning person you know."

Haruhi had to admit it was strange that none of them had called to notify that they'd be late. "Have you tried to get into contact with them?" She asked him. Trying to call them seemed like the best idea right now. The question was, would they answer though?

Kaoru couldn't believe what he was hearing. That was it then? She just had to wait until her body gave up? Was it really just a waiting game right now? "I'm going to guess that you've tried to get your parents to sign their permission for you being allowed to get this pacemaker and they've not agreed..." He frowned. He wasn't mad at her no. He was mad at her parents. Their daughter was dying and they weren't doing a damn thing about it! He had to stay calm, he had to keep his head clear and think rationally. Hikaru was at Alice's bedside and gently rested his hand over hers. School was the least of his concerns right now. "You're not a terrible friend Alice." Kaoru answered quietly, approaching her and lightly patting her shoulder. "I understand that you just didn't want to make us worry. We're your friends though, we will always worry about you." He told her and Hikaru nodded, quickly wiping the tears from his own cheeks. "We have to figure out how to get you that pacemaker." Hikaru whispered. His brother nodded, but it wouldn't be easy. They needed a signature from the parents. How were they going to trick them into signing a medical form?

Kaneko had no regrets either. She wasn't sorry they spoke that night in the park. It was a simple, innocent conversation. A chance for her to make friends. Friends that she could see outside of work. People she could talk to when things got rough at home. This hadn't ever popped into her head, but she didn't regret it happening when it did and the way that it did. Of course it was her luck that she fell for a vampire and that the vampire was one her father had been trying to kill. "It's not your fault Allen. You being here helps greatly." She assured. It was true. This would be much more frightening if she were all by herself. At least now she had someone by her side who was very important to her. "Going to get some sleep?" She asked him. "W-would you like anything to drink? Or...well I should let you sleep actually. Rest is important."

Again, Clint waited patiently and remained still while the reading was going on. This one was taking longer and it made him worry, was Maddie seeing something terrible? Maybe he shouldn't have asked her for such a complicated reading. He felt as if he were taking advantage of her by asking her to do this but he didn't plan on doing this every day. Right now he needed to know if there was going to be any problems. Then Maddie's eyes opened and she let go of his hand. Clint lowered his hand onto the table and looked at her, waiting for what she had to say.

When she started to explain what she had seen, his hand balled up to a fist and he groaned. "Jess..." He muttered, slightly annoyed. Well, at least now he knew what to look forward to. What the hell would she want to talk about? That kiss probably? It would make sense. But why at work? Why didn't she just bug him with a phone call? "So Jess is going to start stalking me...how...fun." He didn't look excited at all though, clearly his words were meant to be a joke. He'd have to keep an eye out for her, but he had to look surprised when he did see her that way she wouldn't get suspicious or anything. "Great, just what I needed." He sighed and ran his hands through his hair.

Haruhi walked into the room, seeing only Tamaki was there. Kyoya and the famous duo were nowhere to be seen and that seemed to have the king of the host club worried. Of course this worried her too, where were they? Honey yawned as he was set down on the couch, his arms wrapped around Usa-chan now, eyes heavy. "Tamaki-senpai.." Haruhi began and closed her mouth. What could she even say about this situation? She didn't even know anything herself so it wasn't like she could offer any form of comfort. "I-I'm sure they'll be here shortly. Perhaps they uhh...g-got caught up in traffic?" She offered, trying to help in some sort of way.

This was a surprise to Kaoru who had never heard about her being sick before. "You're sick?" He repeated and looked at Hikaru who frowned and looked down at his feet. "And you knew about this...and didn't tell me?" He asked his brother. Hikaru nodded. Kaoru wasn't going to make a scene, he knew better than to do that here. Instead, he looked at Alice again. "What do you mean sick Alice? How sick are you? W-what are you talking about when you say you don't have much time left? C-come on now, surely you c-can't be seriously...d-dying." That last word was but a whisper. The idea of his best friend dying so soon was not something he wanted to think about. She was too young and she looked so healthy, how long had she been sick? Why didn't he know about this? "Does anyone else know about this?" He asked.

Kaneko watched him set the tray off to the side. Perhaps he was full now. She knew that whenever she was sick, she didn't really want to eat much but she knew she had to eat if she ever wanted to get better. He still felt really warm, it was worrisome but she was hopeful he'd get better soon. He had to. He wouldn't hurt her. No, of course he wouldn't. He wasn't like the others, but she knew that there was a possibility it would happen and if it did, it would be accidental. He wouldn't hurt her on purpose. Her warm hand reached up and lightly cupped his cheek. "I know Allen. I love you too." She answered quietly. "I'm being silly aren't I?" She asked and chuckled. Kaneko looked into his milky white eyes, her heart slowed down. She was safe.

@saeyra: It's okay. I don't mind much. I still manage to find people to talk to so it's fine. :)

Hearing Allen's words caused a tightening in her chest. Of course something was troubling her. Ever since the encounter with that man, with his old master, Kaneko couldn't help but be frightened. His old master was dead, the hunter too was dead; but she knew that there would be more. Maybe another vampire would find them. Maybe Allen would snap and hurt her, maybe another hunter would try to kill him. How could she tell him all this though? "I guess I'm just really worried about everything that's happened up until now. And...well you're sick right now. I don't want to imagine what would happen if someone were to find us right now." Allen was in no condition to fight, he was weak. If someone wanted to turn him against her he'd succumb pretty easily wouldn't he? She didn't know, and she didn't want to ask.

"I...I know. It's just that I have a lot on my mind and I'd really like a reading before I have to get ready for work. An in depth one if possible. Or well...anything you can tell me will be greatly appreciated Mads." Clint replied. He washed the dishes then set them on the rack to dry and dried off his hands before sitting back down at the table. He held out his hand to her so she could do her thing. He needed to know if Jess was going to be a problem or not. He hoped she wasn't, but if he was, he was going to have to figure out how to get rid of her nicely before doing something stupid.

@saeyra: Didn't really have many friends or people to talk to on there and I didn't want to bump it too much since it's against the rules. So I just thought it would be best to have it locked.

@saeyra: Oh okay then. I had one but I had it locked I think. lol
I don't play DnD but I'll still chat with you there about other stuff.

Clint drank the rest of his coffee and smiled at her proposal. Two today after work? He could do that. He nodded, "We can watch two today when I get home and wash up. It will be fun Mads." This wasn't a date, just two friends watching a movie. What if Maddie didn't see it that way though? Well, he didn't want to tell her it wasn't, he didn't want to hurt her feelings. It was too early though, there was no way they were anything more than simple friends. "Hey Mads...umm.." He looked at the dishes and picked them up to wash them. "W-would you mind checking to see how work is going to go for me today?" He asked. He was mostly curious to see if a certain girl showed up unexpectedly at his workplace wanting to talk about what had happened.

Kaneko felt tired, even though she hadn't really done much. She should have made herself some breakfast but she forgot to do so. It could wait until later. Besides, she wasn't too hungry right now and maybe it was due to her worrying about Allen. "I hope I didn't make it too bland or too sweet." She said to him. It was surprising to see a vampire with a fever. She didn't think that they could get sick, she thought they were invincible to all illnesses. Clearly she had a lot to learn. She remembered what the older vampire had told her. She had a lot to learn about vampires, and he was going to show her but all she learned that day was that vampires were very dangerous. And frightening. Her eyes looked at Allen for a while before she focused on the bedroom door and thought deeply.
