Psst, Amber, almost spilled the beans THERE, didn't I?

Jackson thought for a moment, before nodding slightly.

"Here." he said.

"I've got pizza here. We can share it this session." he told her.

With that, she entered the room, and he shut the door behind her, biting his lip a little as he watched her make her way to the table in his dorm.

'It's now or never.' he told himself mentally.

He couldn't deny the feelings he had. They were clearer than ever, and he had to let Ana know how he felt. He would do it before she started the session. He HAD to get it off his chest.

Whether the feelings were reciprocated or not, he was glad. Glad that he'd met her, glad that he'd come to the school... he was happy with where his life was right now. And he was glad that, in some weird way, he'd been able to help Ana preserve this life for the students and staff... even though it technically didn't happen, yet did.

He then shook his head, cleared his mind, and took a step towards her... towards his future, whatever it held.

There was silence for a moment, before Hank thought about something.

"Perhaps I should call in Kitty to help." he commented.

"With her abilities, she'll be able to gather information most efficiently. Perhaps the info we need to prove his involvement in all this." he reasoned.

And sure enough, as it came to pass, they ended up getting the info they needed. When the staff went to confront him, there ended up being a fight, which damaged a few of the rooms in the school... but thankfully, no students were injured, and the staff got away with minor injuries.

The plot to sabotage the school, and attack it, had failed. Sure enough, a week later, things were moving along as normal, and it was just like any other school day.

Ana was on her way to Jackson's dorm, and knocked on the door when she arrived there.

"Hey." Jackson said when he answered.

"Time for the tutoring session already?" he asked.

Hank nodded.

"I do." he said.

"I have more than enough proof I need to investigate this." he told her.

"...in fact, I feel like I shall do so right now." he then commented.

"Alone?" Jackson asked.

"Shouldn't you bring backup, in case things get... rowdy?" he asked further.

"I plan on it." Hank assured her.

Jackson raised an eyebrow when she said that.

"Okie-doke." he replied.

The two of them then made their way to the office, as Cecil was just arriving.

When Ana saw him, she knew it couldn't be anyone else, but she could also see that he seemed to have a more carefree aura to him. For obvious reasons.

The three of them then made their way to Professor McCoy, where the situation was explained.

"So, would you be so kind as to check to see if there's any evidence of your powers on Anastasia?" Hank asked.

"Ah-kay." Cecil replied with a shrug, before looking at Ana and almost seeming to stare right into the core of her very soul. It made her somewhat uncomfortable, before he suddenly waved his arm, and a very faint green glowy mist-like substance seeped out of her chest.

"Yep. I recognize remnants of my power anywhere." he commented.

"...a while." Jackson admitted.

"Guess maybe... a little over a year." he told her.

"Not that we've grown apart or anything. We kinda have, but we're not estranged or anything." he then said.

"We just have our own lives now." he shrugged.

"But we still know what buttons to press to piss each other off, and we know what each other likes, and can bribe each other." he chuckled.

"Hence the beta account bribe." he said further.

"But he's an all right guy. A bit standoffish, but all right."

Seeing as this question's been more than adequately answered, I'll be locking this thread.

"Cecil's the sort to contact me when he gets here." Jackson responded.

"Very well, then." Hank replied, before the two of them left.

Sure enough, about a half-hour later, and after some helping the librarian, Jackson's phone went off, indicating a text. He grabbed his device, and looked at the screen.

"Yep, he's here." he told Ana.

"He's on his way to the office, so we should make our way there now." he suggested.

"Streamline this just that LITTLE bit further."

"Hmmm." Hank mumbled, thinking about it.

"Good question." Jackson admitted.

"Well, the new shipment of books and replacements has shown up." Hank then told Ana.

"If you two wish to help her sort them and shelf them, it would be appreciated." he said to the both of them.

"...sure." Jackson replied.

"Anything to distract me, I suppose." he said.

Jackson merely responded by taking his cell phone out and dialling a number, before placing it to his ear.

"....hey Cecil? It's Jack." he said.

"Yeah. Yeah... yeah, I know it's early, but this is important." he then said further.

"Like, 'big trubbs' important." he muttered further. "Can you get to The Institute to meet with Professor McCoy and myself ASAP?" he asked.

He then paused for a moment, seeming to listen to something being said, before sighing.

"Make it in a half-hour, and I'll let you use my closed beta testing account for 'War Universe'." he said... then nodding afterwards.

"See you in a half-hour." he finished, before hanging up.

Jackson's eyes widened when he heard what she said.

"Is something wrong?" Hank asked.

"Cecil and I... we've known each other since childhood." Jackson responded. "He'd given me that nickname, and I didn't really mind at the time." he continued.

"And he and I... well... we'd get into trouble a lot. And whenever our shenanigans pushed things a little further than usual, and got a lot of people complaining... I often said that we had 'big, big trubbs'..." he admitted sheepishly, clearly more than a little embarrassed that it had come to light.
