and that sounds good to me; I'd love any art of the characters you picked, so no preference as two who gets which style.. just let me know what kind of refs you need for them (colors, body types/clothing, etc) and I'll post them up here.

@prezial: It's this one Its full name is Cheshire Cabaret, which I try to use cause we have an older event item just named Cheshire which I don't have any spares of. But if the one in the pic is the one you're looking for, I do have one to offer!
I love your painted style, but the temptation to get art for 2 chars is too great; I have so many that don't have much (or any) art lol. Kelly and Vilke are especially high on my priority list since they're main characters. I can dig up some older art and/or make quick sketches for better refs since neither of them have much on their profiles atm!

A huge chunk of names have some kind of religious origin IRL; it's actually hard sometimes to find names that don't come from some kind of prominent religious figure, be it a prophet, saint, deity, angel, etc. Most people just use whatever they think sounds good and don't care where it comes from or what it originally meant. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I'll agree that when it comes to well-known figures, especially from actively practiced religions (whether you are a follower of them or not, but perhaps more so if you're not), it's a good idea to at least understand your character's (or pet's or child's or whoever else's) namesake and know its significance. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to "Is this offensive?" because everyone--including people within that religion--will have a different opinion. If you do choose to name your character after a deity or other prominent figure, just be informed about it and be prepared for the possibility that yes, someone out there may find it disrespectful even if that was not your intention. But also know that this can happen with pretty much anything. If that makes you uncomfortable, just changing the name and saying you were inspired by a certain religious figure is also fine. Choosing names can be difficult but also lots of fun when you get into learning about all their various origins and connections. You'll see that all names have some sort of meaning, and many of them go totally unnoticed by most people. You name your kid "God", you're gonna get funny looks. But naming a character Hera, probably a lot less so. There are real-life people out there named Hera today.

Getting really tired of being ignored at my job. It happens elsewhere, too, but lately it's been really getting to me at work when my requests for time off go unanswered until I'm already scheduled for that time so I have no choice but to cancel them; someone asks for a code over the walkie and i tell them it's on a sheet right next to them, only to have someone else answer by just telling them the code as though I hadn't said anything at all; I spend idk how many minutes standing around waiting for someone to fucking notice me and shut up long enough to answer MY questions; I get bitched at for "not communicating" because I literally CAN'T answer the person asking things on the walkie because they're STILL TALKING and you can't both talk at once, but when I ask a question into the walkie I get met with no response whatsoever until I ask again a second or third time and then get fucking snapped at for asking so many times. How df was I supposed to know you were on your way over if you didn't say so? CoMmUnIcAtE why don't you? jfc
Then you ask customers "how are you today?" and they ignore you, so eventually you give up and of course the one person you don't bother asking gets an attitude with you because you didn't ask the obligated question that nobody actually wants an answer to.
And of course, let's not forget the entire fiasco with me trying to get a transfer, which happened because as usual, I wasn't important enough for anyone to bother actually doing their part. But still got blamed on me despite me doing literally everything that could have been expected of me, because it's so much easier to just throw the employee under the bus than to let managers take responsibility for their own negligence. ...oh and if i did get a transfer, they'd take away the raise they just gave me. so that's nice to know. glad i busted my ass for almost 50 hours a week just to find out that if i ever move to another location i'll lose that 50 cents i got for being there over a year.

we just got our first signs of snowfall as of yesterday, which means more is probably on the way. dangerous stuff, that snow. but maybe voltra snowflakes aren't so bad.

I haven't made a resolution yet; seems like no matter what it is, it always fails. Maybe my resolution should be not to set expectations for myself. :^P
