"He'll be able to find us." Ash replied.

"The house is big, but... not huge." he told her.

"Besides, Ashleigh's making up food." he went on.

"...I would be, but... uh... well..." he then stammered, before sighing.

"I... can't." he admitted.

"For... obvious reasons." he sighed.

"Yeah." Ash responded.

"Seems it's nothing to really worry about." he said.

"Said that this happens every so often, and people with... er... high emotions... are targets." he muttered.

"So... uh... yeah." he mumbled.

"You can guess what was happening with me and Ashleigh." he told her.

"...and the whole house knows about what YOU two were doing." he added, rolling his eyes.

Ash was almost shocked when he heard that.

"Ah, what?" he asked.

"Climb ON?" he asked further.

He then paused for a moment, before thinking about it.

"Um... okay..." he mumbled, before climbing onto the back of the large feline.

"Okay, this is... kinda cool." he admitted.

"....I see." Ash replied.

"That's... that's fun." he said sarcastically.

After a moment, they heard heavy footsteps headed their way... before the lumbering form of Casey's panther, Kitt, showed up.

She looked at Casey quizzically for a moment, before walking over and butting her head into Casey's stomach gently.

"...well, your big cat's even bigger for you, now." Ash commented.

"That's... cool? I guess?"

Ash immediately looked VERY concerned, before Lindsay spoke.

"I know where a pair of them are." he said.

"Back in a second." he added, before disappearing from where he was.

Ash was silent, before looking at Casey.

"Right. Sooooo..." he mumbled.

"When did YOU wake up and discover you were a kid again?" he asked.

"Or, to put it another way, how long have you been awake?"

Ash and Lindsay looked over towards Casey.

"Ok, the HELL!?" Lindsay exclaimed.

"Ashleigh knows what's going on." Ash said.

"Apparently this is only temporary." he went on.

"Also, Casey." he then addressed the woman-turned-girl.

"Where are the other restrictors?" he asked.

"Because I'm scared to even THINK about using my own mana in this body. I've just realised it now, probably thanks to that little explosion of mana earlier, but I feel like a bomb ready to just detonate." he muttered.

Ryker looked over to Eke as he returned.

"Awesome!" he said.

"Put the stuff in the barrel and light it up!" he told him.

"Once we have a roaring fire going, we'll cook up some food!" he went on.

"Also, wanna bed down here when it gets dark?" he asked.

"Looks like a decent little place to spend the night."

While Eke was away, Ryker started to get things ready.

"Hm." he mumbled.

"Fish fillets." he said.

"What else..." he muttered, snapping his fingers.

"Ah! Some potatoes and vegetables to go with them." he realised.

"Hopefully Eke finds some good stuff to light the fire with." he added, grabbing some metal grating to put on the metal barrel.

"Okay then." Ash responded.

He then left the kitchen and made his way up the stairs, stopping when he got to the top of them.

"Wonder if they're still asleep..." he muttered. "Or if they already know, or what..." he mumbled further.

He then made his way to the door of Casey and Lindsay's room, and knocked on it. There was no answer, so he knocked once more. And again. Eventually, the door opened, and a groggy and sleepy Lindsay answered it, looking around.

"Huh? Wha?" he mumbled.

"Down here." Ash said.

Lindsay looked down slowly, and rubbed his eyes when he saw his brother.

"...am I still asleep?" he asked.

"I wish." Ash responded.

Lindsay was then silent for a moment... his eyes then opening wide.

"The HELL happened to you!?" he asked.

"Not quite sure." Ash responded. "How is Casey?" he then asked, seemingly changing the subject.

"Casey...?" Lindsay asked. "I'm not sure." he said. "When you woke me up, she wasn't here." he continued. "She mentioned that she had some commissions to work on, so odds are she's up in her studio working." he explained.

"But anyway, are you seriously a kid?" he then asked.

"I am." Ash confirmed.

"This is certainly... one of the weirder things that's happened." Lindsay mumbled, putting a hand to his head and shaking it slightly.

Ash just sighed.

"I'll go and tell them what's happening." he said to her.

"Also, yes, I am hungry." he went on.

"...could really go for some barbeque stuffs." he told her further.

".......and I really want to make it, myself." he admitted.

"I know HOW." he continued.

"Don't think I can put it into practice like this..."

".......oh." Ash muttered.

"Yes. Yes, it would." he said.

"Just... yeah." he mumbled.

He then shook his head slightly.

"Whole damn house knows when it happens." he grumbled.

"REALLY should soundproof that room."

Ash just shook his head.

"No." he replied.

"This isn't your fault." he said.

"And you were the best thing about being stuck there." he told her.

"Regardless, Kelly isn't here." he then informed her.

"It seems that she did, indeed, spend the night at the draydins' place." he continued.

"But she'll need to know about this. As well as Lindsay, Casey, Evan, Sammy... well, everyone here." he told her further.

"Well, THAT helps." Ash muttered.

"Still, this is... just... ugh." he groaned.

"This is HIGHLY inconvenient." he told her.

He then looked at her again, and his demeanour changed.

"Not... not that I'm complaining..." he said.

"I'm not complaining at all!" he exclaimed.

"I'm fine! No need for anything!" he then said further, before catching himself...

...and sighed heavily, hanging his head.

"Yeah." Ash said, accepting the clothes.

"Grabbed the first thing around. Just had to be the big sleeping shirt." he mumbled.

He then disappeared around a corner for about a minute, returning in the clothes that Ashleigh had given him.

"Much better." he said.

"Now. I'm a damn kid." he muttered.

"This is NOT good."
