"Okay! Okay, I get it!" Jake exclaimed.

"We'll get you some restrictors!" he told her.

"Azazel gave us some a while ago!" he said further.

He then proceeded to dig under the bed, until he brought out a metal box, and searched through it.

"Here!" he said, handing her a necklace.

"I remember you specifying this instead of a pair of bracelets."

"All right, all right, all right." Jake responded.

"Anya! Anya, try not to panic!" he told her.

"If you start to panic, things will only get worse. A panicking demon is... well, it's not a pretty sight." he went on.

"Though... nevermind, now's not the time for a compliment..." he then mumbled, shaking his head slightly.

"We need to assess the situation first." he told her.

"We're home, we're in our private dwelling, so the fact that you can't hide them isn't alerting anyone, and we don't need to worry about concealing a secret from wandering eyes." he said.

"And... from what I can see and tell... you're... you look like you're a child." he then informed her.

"Yeah." Ryker replied.

"I know." he said.

"At least you're making progress." he said further.

"Fish don't seem to mind you being there, either." he chuckled.

"Anyway, I'm gonna start making food."

Ryker made his way over, and smirked slightly.

"Heh." he chuckled.

"Look at that." he said.

"Looks like the little fishies seem to have taken a liking to you." he went on.

"So. Enjoying yourself?" he asked.

"Or, at the very least, keeping calm?"

Her exclamation alerted the one that she was beside, waking him up.

"Ah!" he yelled.

"What the!? What's going on!?" he asked.

His eyes started to adjust to the darkness, and he looked beside him.

"I... wait, what?" he asked.

"Hold on, what!?" he repeated.

"The HELL is going on!?"

Tyson just sighed.

"I don't expect much." he said.

"Not to undermine your abilities, but her issues are... well, they run pretty deep-rooted." he muttered.

"And lunch? Yeah, sure." he then said.

"I could eat." he told her.

"Thank you very much."

Ty just shook his head.

"Think nothing of it." he told her.

"And a bonus?" he asked.

"Admittedly, that hadn't crossed my mind." he said.

"I usually just pay him what I would have earned during that time." Hal told Hollie.

"However, you SHOULD get SOMETHING for keeping this a secret." he admitted.

Tyson just sighed.

"Really, all I want is to find a way for the kid and me to be in contact with each other without it triggering her terrors." he mumbled, referring to Miki.

"Hmph." Hal grunted.

"This is troublesome." he said.

"To understate it." he growled.

Ty held back another laugh, before thumping his own chest and letting out a loud exhale.

"Makes sense." he said.

"And no comment on the cuteness." he smirked.

"Regardless, I'll take over until this is fixed." he assured them.

"And I WILL make sure nobody knows of this. Heaven knows you have enemies that would take advantage of this." he added.

"Indeed." Hal responded.

"I trust you'll be able to do the duties of the head of the Unit, and keep your trap shut about this?" he asked.

"After all, this does NOT need to get out." he muttered.

Again, Ty was silent, before sighing quietly.

"Well, THIS is certainly an interesting kettle of fish." he finally commented.

"But very well." he said. "Consider both of those things done." he told him.

"Thank you." Hal replied.

"..." Ty was then silent yet again, before his cheeks suddenly puffed out slightly, and he was forced to turn away and let out a muffled 'pffft' sound.

This, in turn, caused Hal to glare daggers at the man.

"Damnit!" Hal cursed, as Ty looked at him.

And stared at him.

"...........I..... uh..." he stammered.

"Agent King." Hal greeted Ty.

"I am hereby ordering you to take my place as the interim head of the Unit, for the foreseeable future." he said.

"...right..." Ty mumbled.

"This... is this a joke?" he then asked.

Ryker continued to be silent, nodding slightly.

"...you can do it." he whispered.

As Eke stuck his hands in, more tiny fish came around, swimming around Eke's extremities, before moving on, as more of them showed up to investigate.

But even though Eke was panicking... nothing bad was happening to him, at least as far as the water was concerned.

It was cool, it was still, it was clear, it... wasn't doing anything.

"What the...!?" Hal mumbled, feeling Hollie's mana swirl around him.

"Ohhh no, no, no, no...." he mumbled, trying to use his own mana to get out of it.

And failing miserably.

Meanwhile, Tyson just nodded.

"Some tea would be lovely." he replied.

"I enjoy some every so often." he said further.

"And for a friend of yours?" he then asked. "Who?"

"WHAT!?" Hal exclaimed, before Hollie had her mana open the door.

"Coming!" the one outside called.

"Where are you!?" he asked, as they heard footsteps come inside.

"Damn it!" Hal exclaimed further, looking around.

He then shook his head, before sighing heavily...

...and throwing himself behind the couch he had been sitting on.

"I know, this is frighteningly familiar to me as well." Hal responded, sweetening the tea up.

"But for the life of me, I can't figure out HOW." he admitted.

"And it's irritating me." he went on.

"I can NOT show up to work like this, Hollie." he then told her.

"Seriously. I have NO credibility like this." he muttered further.

"I'd be nothing more than a JOKE."
