Meanwhile, on the other side, Hal put his phone down, and shook his head.

"Damn it all." he said.

"I didn't even HAVE a childhood." he muttered, looking at his tiny form.

Ilias' face turned red for a split second, before he shook his head a bit.

"Ah..." he stammered.

"Ah, yes, well, hm." he mumbled.

"We might need to figure out WHAT the hell happened here." he told her.

"Seriously. This... this is freaky." he said.

"It's taking all I have to not flip out..."

Ilias shook his head.

"You'd think, but no." he said.

"In actuality, ANY male snakes on the head of a gorgon are rare." he told her.

"Which is to say, the female ones all have female snakes, and I'm a rarity, being a male born of one." he continued.

"But I think all males have at least ONE male snake, and 2 is rarer." he went on.

"The fact that I have 3 is probably extremely low odds." he told her further, shrugging.

"Like I said, not much research or history is available on those like me."

"No, not really." Ilias responded.

"There ARE 7, but 4 are female." he told her.

"It's just that Serena, Maria, and Helena are the... er... most vocal and troublesome." he mumbled.

"The others are content to just... hide until needed." he went on with a shrug.

"But hey, at least the other three have personality." he added with a small laugh.

"....is that enough proof?" he then asked her.

"Or do you need more?"

Ilias shook his head.

"You know I'm not opposed to tattoos." he told her.

"However, you KNOW Maria and Serena are." he continued.

"Every time someone tries to get close to me with a tattoo needle, they get SO aggressive." he mumbled further, shaking his head lightly.

"So THAT'S not gonna help..." he went on, though the fact that he knew that was ALREADY compelling proof.

"How can I prove it?" he asked her.

"I mean, does knowing that your current dye job has lasted over 11 months, thanks to that mana-charged dye your sister got you for your last birthday count?" he then asked further.

Ilias caught the phone and looked at the picture on it... before freezing as well.

"...I... I..." he stammered.

"Wh... what the...?" he asked, trailing off some, and dropping the phone onto the bed.

"This... this can't be..." he said, looking over his body.

"How...!? When!? Why!?" he exclaimed, before looking at Kiah.

"Kiah, I... this... I mean..." he stammered further... before giving up and sighing deeply.

"Well. THIS is new." he muttered.

"Wonder what caused THIS to happen..."

Ryker watched at Eke slowly stuck his foot in the water...

...and nothing happened.

The water a bit on the chilly side, but that was it.

And Eke could see tiny little fish swimming around, some of them getting close and brushing up against Eke's foot, tickling it slightly.

Ilias shook his head.

"Whatever, Kiah." he said.

"Guess I should just go." he muttered, as he started to crawl to the edge of the bed, only to stop at the edge when he realised what he was doing... and then looked down down from the edge of it.

"AH!" he exclaimed.

"Oh, what the HELL!?" he yelled.

"What the effing SHIT is this!?" he exclaimed further, backing up some, and then falling onto his back... as several tiny noodles of snakes emerged from under his hair, looking around and darting their forked tongues out.

"....wh-what!?" Ilias stammered.

"I'm NOT a child!" he exclaimed.

"I know I ACT like it sometimes, but... still." he muttered further, shaking his head.

"Whatever." he then mumbled.

"Guess you want me gone or something." he continued.

"Dunno WHY you're acting so weird, though." he went on, before looking around.

"Uh..." he then said, trailing off some.

"Wait... things seem... bigger..." he commented.

Ilias had climbed out from under the covers, and looked at Kiah quizzically.

"Huh?" he muttered.

"Kiah... it's... it's me, Ilias." he told her.

"...and who are my parents? You know I only know half of that." he continued.

"I've never known my father, as my mother never told me anything about him. Probably just some poor shmuck she seduced and killed." he mumbled further, shaking his head lightly.

"...why are you acting so weird?" he then asked her.

Her noise and commotion obviously woke Ilias up, and he jolted into a sitting position.

"Huh!? Wha!? Who!? Where!? What!? When!? How!?' he yelled in confusion.

However, he then noticed that he was completely under the covers.

As in, the blanket seemed to surround him, like it was huge.

"Okay, what...?" he muttered.

"Kiah!?" he then called out.

"What's wrong!? What's going on!?" he asked.

"Hm." Cain mumbled, as he brought the coffee towards her, and set it down by her plate.

"Make that last." he said.

"That's ALL you're getting!" he warned her... before stifling a laugh.

"Okay, maybe not." he admitted.

"But you can't have, like, 4 or 5 cups like before." he told her, sitting down.

"And hopefully we'll be able to find the cure or... whatever, to reverse this." he continued.

"Because this can't be optimal." he reasoned.

"Even if it's not hurting you, this shouldn't be happening. Who knows what potential consequences there might be." he finished with a small sigh.

"Good!" Cain responded.

"At least there's that." he said.

He then paused for a moment, and thought about something.

"Hmmmm." he mumbled.

"So you said this doesn't feel like anything alchemical..." he commented.

"Wonder what the hell it IS..." he went on.

"Like, what happened?" he asked.

"Is there any way to find out...?"

Cain raised an eyebrow, before shrugging.

"Eh. Sure. Whatever." he said.

"Just no guzzling it." he told her.

He then proceeded to make it up, looking at her again.

"So you can see?" he asked.

"No issues at all?" he asked further.
