Posted in Coding games; how hard is it?
Posted 5 years ago
I think this fits in this forum :vanora_xd:
anyways, to be more specific, I was thinking about smaller games like phone games, puzzle games ect.
Currently addicted to this blocky game that in some RNG way, gives you 3 tetris-like blocks at a time that you place in a square. Fill up a row/column to make blocks vanish or lose the game if you cant fit all your blocks in a spot.
Like it seems like such a simplistic RNG kind of deal, but I imagine there is more complication to it than what the surface tells.
So, this is more a question for coders! I see SO many variations of games like tetris or.. heck even more so for bejeweled to the point I'm sick of that format now lmao
How complicated is it to make these?
Sorry if its a weird question to ask or hard to answer, I'm just intrigued haha

@priestess of pie:
Thats awesome its lasted so long <3 Ive only worn out a tablet once, where its micro-usb plug in stopped working so I couldnt charge it anymore. This was before the wireless model came out, and all my travelling had me often plugging and unplugging it.
My other tablet I gave to a friend's sister when I got my cintiq.. like, 5 years ago?
@moodybats:
Aww, well I wont push you in any direction if you're not feeling well. Sorry if I've rubbed you wrong!
Perhaps decision making would be better for another day

@priestess of pie:
I've heard that since like, 2010 or whenever I started focusing on drawing tablets. But, again, these are probably all just kids not taking care of things. I sold a bamboo pen so someone a week ago at my job and her mother seemed pretty fussy at her for breaking her other one, as if she was just careless with it. haha :vanora_sweat:
@moodybats:
oh no, I'm talking about ones without screens! thats what I mean by pad-style haha
I have a job but my college demands soooooo much more time from me this year, I had to cut back my work hours a lot. I get income just.. barely lol
