"....uh... right, sure thing." Hal responded.

Sure enough, about a minute later, Hal appeared in the medical wing, and made his way to Angela's office.

"All right, I'm here." he said when he stepped inside.

"What's going on?" he asked her.

"What has you sounding so... well, almost panicked?" he asked further.

"No." Tyson replied.

"Well... maybe." he then said.

"It's just that... well... hm." he mumbled.

"Have you... LOOKED at the blood on you?" he asked her.

"It's... well... it's like mine." he said.

"Got some greenish hues to it in places." he went on.

"Kinda a hallmark of a Regenerator."

Ty was silent as he was worked on, but Angela noticed that he kept staring at her.

"...is something wrong?" she asked.

"Huh? Wrong?" he responded.

"I... uh... I don't know." he said.

"The blood on you." he commented.

"Who's is it?" he asked.

"I mean, given what I saw earlier, I can make an educated guess, but... enlighten me so I don't make any potentially incorrect assumptions."

Cain was silent, before rushing in to see Lunet.

Meanwhile, the one that was there, was silent as well.

"I... ah..." he stammered.

"Quite frankly, either one's a viable option at this point." he admitted.

"...but did I come at a bad time?" he then asked.

"Seems like there's something... big... going on." he continued.

"To massively understate it."

It didn't take Cain very long at all to reach the medical wing.

And when he arrived, Angela was waiting for him.

"Please!" he said.

"Help her!" he told the medic.

"She fell! Down a cliff and into the water!" he went on.

"...so much blood..." he then said quietly.

Ryker snapped back to reality, before sighing.

"Right." he said.

"Yeah, I should." he agreed.

"What about you?" he asked her.

"Do you want to come in and join us?"

'NO!' he thought, as he swam over towards her.

'Damn it, Lunet, NO!' he repeated.

He then grabbed her hand, and the two of them disappeared... reappearing in the security area of the Unit.

But instead of Jake that were there, it was Mira.

"...please!" Cain pleaded to her.

"Help!" he said.

"She needs help! Now!"

"NO!" Cain screamed as he saw her land in the water.

"NO! LUNET!" he yelled, before throwing caution to the wind, and jumping off the cliff. However, in the middle of the fall, he used his mana to teleport himself to where Lunet had landed.

"Lunet!" he yelled again.

"Lunet!" he repeated, landing in the water.

He then looked around, scanning the area, hoping against all hope she was all right.

'Please, please, please, please, please...' he silently begged.

Lunet didn't realise that she was moving backwards.

However, Cain did. And he also noticed that she was moving alarmingly quickly.

"LUNET!" he called out.

"WATCH OUT!" he exclaimed.

He then raced towards her, just as she ended up moving backwards even more... and right off the edge of the cliff they were on.

Just as she fell, Cain dove towards her and threw his arm down to grab her... to which he did. However, he only managed to grab her by the foot, and his grip was NOT that tight.

'Shit, shit, shit...' he cursed mentally, as he tried to keep himself from panicking.

"Oh, it can be done." Cain replied.

"Just... knowing that would make it go a lot more quickly, and it would make the end result more... guaranteed? If that makes sense?" he told her.

"It's hard to explain." he said.

He then sighed, and made his way a little closer towards her.

"Hey, we should consider heading back." he told her.

"Or at least going for something to eat." he continued.

"It's starting to get a bit late."

Cain just sighed heavily.

"Slow." he said.

"We have most of what we need, but we need to know what caused her to come back." he told her.

"That can really speed things up." he continued.

"And we're running out of time." he lamented.

"We just need that big break."

Cain just smiled when Lunet said what she did.

"Yeah." he replied.

"We should." he agreed.

"I'll bet this place is gorgeous in the Autumn." he went on, before stretching slightly.

"..." he was then silent, and looked at Lunet.

'Glad you like it." he told her.

"I had a feeling this would be a good idea." he chuckled.

Ryker almost melted when she ran her fingers through his hair.

"...mmmmmrgle..." he murmured dreamily.

"...heh." he then chuckled.

"Yeah, that... that feels good." he admitted.

"Always liked it when someone stroked my hair." he told her.

"I'll tell ya, you're already doing a hell of a job in the happiness department."

"Yeah." Azazel responded.

"Basement." he said.

"In the box labelled 'old books'." he went on.

"...that... makes sense. Hide it in plain sight." Cain mumbled.

"Pretty much." Azazel agreed.

"Guess we should go find them." Cain then said to Aedan.

"....REALLY hope this works." Azazel mumbled to them.
