Zeke raised an eyebrow.

"Eh?" he muttered.

"Talk to ME?" he asked.

He then placed a hand to his chin, and thought about.

"She's dying... a month to go..." he mumbled.

"I... hm." he muttered further.

"Well... I mean... hm." he continued.

"I mean, I can think of ONE idea, but... it's... probably not the best of ideas..." he then admitted.

"Yeah." Zeke replied.

"I'll be there in 5." he told her.

And, sure enough, he was.

He appeared in the wing about 5 minutes later, making his way to where she was.

"Hey." he greeted her.

"What's up?" he asked.

"You sounded pretty serious over the phone."

"....." Hal was silent, before raising an eyebrow.

"I see." he said.

"There's nothing else here." he told her.

"Go on." he said further.

"I hope what I did helps." he added.

"Good luck."

".........." Hal was silent for a moment.

He then sighed.

"Very well." he said, raising his hand up and bringing his fingers together.

"I wish I knew how to help Aedan." Angela said.

Hal then snapped his fingers.

"Done." he said.

"Give it a minute or two to kick in."

"..........hm." Hal mumbled.

"Two things." he said.

"1. When this is done, you're getting time off." he told her.

"No questions asked. You're getting time off to spend with Olivia." he went on.

"2. If you like, and if she's willing, you can bring her here." he suggested.

"As long as she stays out of the way, she can be here for... well, however long she wants, or you want."

"That is fair enough." Hal responded.

"And anything you can do?" he asked. "Hmmm." he mumbled.

"No, I don't think so." he said.

"From what I've heard, your own plate's pretty full." he commented.

"How is Olivia taking it?" he asked.

"You not being home as often, that is." he clarified.

Hal looked clearly flustered, frustrated, and irritated now.

"I know." he said.

"This is... beyond aggravating." he told her.

"We have no idea what's going on, and these things are concerning." he continued.

"...damn it all." he growled.

"Just... never mind." he then sighed.

"Thank you for letting me know." he told her.

"...do Azazel and Cain know?" he then asked her.

Hal just placed a hand over his eyes, and it shifted to him pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Urgh." he groaned.

"Just... great." he muttered.

"So this has to happen all over again. History repeats itself in the worst way possible." he went on.

"...thank you for telling me this." he then told her.

"Admittedly, part of me was always concerned about this happened when I first learned that Reveka was alive again, but I pushed it back because I had to deal with so many other things." he continued. "And... well, I was hoping that it wouldn't happen." he admitted further.

"...fools hope, it seems." he sighed deeply.

Hal appeared to be... shocked and stunned to hear it.

Before he suddenly just sighed.

"Great." he said.

"Absolutely terrific." he growled.

"Let me guess... organ failure?" he asked.

"Because if it is, then whatever brought her back, did so JUST as how she was when she was alive." he commented.

"...fatal flaws and all."

"......" Azazel was silent, and nodded.

"Yeah." he said.

"Yeah, you do that." he told her.

"I'm... I'm going to... go be with Aedan." he went on.

"I'll... let you know if I think of anything." he added.

He then shook his head once more, and looked at her.

"...thanks for being there for me." he told her with a small smile.

Azazel just sighed heavily and leaned forward a little, clasping his hands together and letting his arms hang low.

"...I don't know." he said.

"I should probably head elsewhere." he reasoned.

"I'll probably go insane if I hang around here." he went on, before pausing.

"...uh... well... hm." he then mumbled.

"Actually... it might be better for me to just spend as much time with Aedan as I can." he corrected himself.

"...while she's still around..."

Azazel ended up returning the embrace, and let go when she started to.

"All right." he replied.

"And I know." he said.

"Now, more than ever, we're in a situation where promises are... well... pointless." he went on.

"There ARE no certainties." he lamented.

"...and, again, it's frustrating." he finished, shaking his head slightly.

"....." Azazel wasn't sure what to say here.

However, Angela saw a few tears trickle down his cheeks.

"....I know." he replied.

"And... and I appreciate it." he said.

He was then silent, before he gently leaned into her.

"I can't bear the thought of losing her, Angela..." he whispered.

"....I wish you luck." Azazel said.

"I... I really do." he repeated.

"But... but I don't know if anything CAN be done." he admitted.

"...." he was then silent, and sighed.

"Angela... I..." he stammered.

"I'm... I just..." he said further, before leaning forward, resting his elbows on his knees, and burying his face in his hands.

"I'm sorry." he apologised quietly.

"I feel ready to... just break down."
