Azazel was silent for a moment, before heaving a heavy sigh.

"Well, at least it's not nothing." he said.

"That's something." he muttered.

"...maybe she'll remember him. Maybe not." he went on.

"I won't get my hopes up." he told her.

"Won't tell Cain, either. No need for him to be potentially crushed again." he sighed.

"...he doesn't need that in his life."

Azazel just shrugged.

"Neither am I." he said.

"We're trying, though." he told her.

"...I feel so bad for Cain, though." he then mumbled.

"Just... yeah, this hit him hard." he said further.

"His mother's always been the biggest rock in his life, someone that he can always anchor himself to, and now... now he doesn't have that." he went on, shaking his head.

"At least he has Lunet." he added.

Ryker was silent for a moment, blinking a couple of times.

"Ah... right." he said.

"Yes. Indeed." he agreed.

He then started the vehicle up again, and they were off.

"Wow." he said.

"You look pleased as all get-out." he commented.

"Is that book REALLY so awesome?" he asked.

Azazel shook his head.

"I don't know." he replied.

"Seriously. I have no idea." he told her.

"This situation seems oddly familiar, but... that's all I can say." he shrugged.

"I'm trying to do some investigating, but it's not going very well." he then lamented with a small sigh.

"It's frustrating."

"Yeah." Azazel replied.

"It's been irrelevant for so long." he said.

"But now it's become potentially relevant again, weirdly enough." he said further.

"So yeah, thanks in advance." he repeated.

"Lemme know if it comes to anything." he told her.

"REALLY hope it doesn't." he then mumbled.

"I REALLY hope I'm just being paranoid."

"I hope so." Azazel replied.

"I really do." he said.

"But I'm worried." he admitted.

"Just... I don't want her to suffer as she did in life... the first time..." he went on.

"...that sounds REALLY weird to say..." he mumbled.

He then sighed and shook his head slightly.

"Regardless, thanks in advance."

"I don't know." Azazel admitted.

"What I DO know is what Aedan told me killed her when she was alive." he said.

"Well... she told me vaguely." he clarified.

"She said she died of organ failure." he went on.

"And I don't know if that's something that's carried over into this." he continued.

"So can you check for any warning flags?" he asked her.

"......" Azazel was silent for a moment.

"I see." he said.

"That's... confusing." he told her.

"Confusing, baffling..." he went on, before pausing.

"....and concerning." he then muttered.

"Wait, is it?" he then asked, scratching his head.

"Uh... Angela, I have a strange favour to ask you." he then told her.

"And I potentially morbid one." he continued.

"Can you... test her organs?" he asked.

"Like... for abnormalities and such?"

Leo just smiled softly.

"I'm glad I can help." he told her.

After a bit, she saw one of the people she was waiting for.

Azazel.

He was making his way into the cafeteria, and looking around, scanning for her.

She got his attention, and he made his way over towards her.

"Hey, Angela." he greeted her.

"What is it?" he asked.

@Lina: Yup, that's something Hal would wear casually.

"I can help a little more than that." Leo told her.

He then sighed, and gently placed a hand on the back of one of hers.

"I'm glad you're feeling better." he said.

"Just enjoy your dream now." he continued.

"It'll be a good one until you wake up." he promised.

"I'm sorry you're experiencing these sorts of things, though." he then said.

"These are never fun for anyone."

"I'm sorry." Leo apologised.

"If I'd known about this sooner, I would have been here to help sooner." he told her.

"At least I'm here now." he went on.

"I can help you NOW." he continued.

"...I can't do this every night, though." he then warned. "The sand I use is... well, too much of it, and you'll be in a state that makes the night terrors look like a picnic." he said bluntly.

"But I can help fairly frequently." he assured her.

"Like right now." he said.

"You'll have a good night's sleep tonight."

"Hey." Leo replied, appearing in front of her.

"Yeah, it's me." he told her.

"I could see you needed help, so I helped." he said.

"I know you've been having these terrors for a while, but I just learned that recently." he went on.

"I got here to help as soon as I could." he then said further.

"How are you now?" he asked.

"Feeling better?"

Leo sighed heavily.

"Yeah." he said.

"It's... yeah, not many people are allowed access to it." he muttered.

Sure enough, the time came, and Lunet was... dreading trying to get some sleep. But she was given her medication, and sure enough, she went to sleep.

However, it wasn't long before she felt herself surrounded by the neon green glow... and sure enough, afterwards, she felt like she was being... crushed. Surrounded. She felt cold and alone, and she felt like she was in pain.

Usually, by this point, was when things started to get worse. When she started to panic, and things really went downhill... but something different happened, this time.

This time, she felt herself gently fall... almost float... down from the feelings of compression and coldness, and felt herself resting on a pillowy cushion of... sand. Surrounded by blue sky and white puffy clouds.
