Allen frowned at the words he spoke about being all alone. That wasn't true! He had Kaneko.. Even if no one was around to protect him, he had everything he could've hoped for. This man was no different than her father! By now, he could faintly see the man's outline and smirked. "Actually.. I can see you, devil." He murmured quietly. He had focused enough on his voice and scent to manage this, but he wondered why it was possible. Allen froze when he went on about giving into his instincts and wanting more than animal blood. He remembered what his master had told him before he lost control of himself, and bared his fangs once more. "Bastard.. You don't know anything! You people are all the same! I won't let hurt her, or take her! Not when she's happy..." That had done it.

Allen went to attack him once more, failing to hear the click from the gun and paused briefly. He slowly brought his hand up to where he had been shot and grit his teeth, allowing his fangs to poke his lower lip. "It'll take..a lot more than that..to kill me!" He hissed, before swiftly moving to pin the man while he was down, so that he couldn't use his gun again. His milky eyes seemingly having a glow to them. "I didn't want to kill you.. You shall be the first human I ever attacked, because you left me no choice.." He murmured quietly before painfully forcing his fangs into the man's neck and allowing his venom to enter his blood. Just like a snake. He pulled back and got off of the man only to fall to his knees. His coat beginning to stain with red.

"You do it to keep the humans safe, right? Not being human doesn't make a damn bit of difference if you aren't doing anything wrong! Some of us have something to protect." Allen spoke, doing his very best to keep a level head. Hunters could be very tricky to deal with. It wasn't like he wanted to kill him.. He might not have a choice though. "I hunt animals, as well as the other in hiding, we've never killed our prey either!" Allen said, not sure why he was trying to reason with this man. He raised his arms to shield his face from the man's punch and backed off. Only his arm got hit. He had gotten the gun away from him. . What now? Where had the gun gone? He was no coward, Allen knew that.

He did tense when the man yelled terrible things, and bared his fangs some. "I won't let you touch her!" He hissed, before going to kick him under his chin.

Allen felt bad for leaving her.. But he had to. What if he went feral again? He didn't want to put her in that kind of danger. Not would be let this man take her back to her previous home where her father could spy on her. Hearing the second gunshot he ducked and just stood by the lake. Didn't play favorites.. Then why was that man still hunting him? Well, he wasn't really.. He was tracking his daughter. But, if this man was allowed to return, here know that Allen had survived two attacks by him. "Ferals cause more deaths and damage then other vampires. Other vampires try to stay hidden, but you people hunt them down like sheep for slaughter. The only coward here is someone like you." Allen voiced calmly. He ducked down once more when he heard the gun click and dashed to the side to avoid the bullet. "Like I'd tell you." He said, coming up behind him and kicking the gun out of his hand.

Maddie was semi-pouting when he didn't seem to hear it at first, then smiled when he confirmed hearing something. She followed him to the door and waited for him to go outside before following. It was so tiny! Maddie slowly knelt beside and examined it when Clint pat it's head. To be so friendly.. Someone might've dumped him, and that thought easily got under Maddie's skin. Slowly and carefully, she picked up the kitten and held it close to her. "Poor little guy.. You're shivering." She comes softly, lightly petting its head. "I bet you're hungry too.." It needs at her, earning a giggle. "Hey.. You've barely got your milk teeth.." She frowned. The kitten suddenly wiggled free and scampered off as if frightened, but not by them.

"So this where you've been hiding, demon child." A voice sounded nearby. Maddie froze and slowly rose to her feet. Why now? Didn't these people know when to quit?

Takashi offered the girl a small smile as she spoke, and gave her light nod before lightly patting his cousin on the leg. He wasn't scolding him, he just wanted his cousin to think a bit more before being so hasty. Hopefully he got that by watching him. "After school then." He said as they came their classroom and led her inside.

Alice giggled quietly and shook her head at her apology. "It's alright, I remember how devious they tend to be. It was my bad for not knowing it was a trick. " She said, smiling. She wouldn't trade them for the world, not even Tamaki. Alice held her hand out. "Let's be friends as well." She offered.

Allen frowned at the man's words. "What is with you people? Why can't you go after the feral vampires?" He hissed, getting easily agitated by this man. He wouldn't let this man take Kaneko, or harm her. Allen continued to stand his ground when Kaneko spoke up and focused on his voice. If he focused enough, he could faintly see the outlines of things with a heat signature. It took a lot though. Then he heard the click of a gun being loaded. If he moved.. How did he know this man wouldn't just shoot Kaneko instead? The first thing Allen did was swiftly move and pick Kaneko up princess style, then ran, ducking out of the way of the man's gun. "Hold on to me, Kaneko." He said to her calmly as he ran in the direction of the lake. Allen could smell the water just enough to follow it. Now he only hoped he was fast enough to keep out of the man's sight. If not, maybe he'd have a chance to hide her.

and that's just what he did. He reached the lake before the man and hid Kaneko somewhere the man would really have to look for her. "Stay here, and don't move. Please? I won't let him beat me so easily. " He said quietly, really hoping she'd just listen to him. He wanted to protect her. Granted, he was being a bit selfish.. But wasn't that sort of to be expected? He kissed her forehead and walked away, peaceful waiting for the other guy.

Maddie smirked some. He remembered, it seemed. Again with worrying about the past! Jeez, it didn't matter. It was nice, but it didn't matter. She listened to him explain how his work hours usually worked, and that if he did need to work over, he would call her. "Alright, I get it." She blinked when she heard something and slowly got up from the table. It sounded like mewing.. Was there a kitten outside? "Hey, Clint, I think I hear a kitten outside." Maddie said quietly, glancing at him curiously. Did they have cats around here?

Takaahi stayed quiet as his cousin made small talk with Mia. He was as easy to read as an open book! To him anyway. Not so much to the others. He had been with the smaller boy for years though, so it made since, right? "Mitsukuni." He voiced in hoping to stop his cousin, but a second too late. He was already trying to bait the girl. He sighed quietly and gave his cousin a disapproved glance before looking at the girl. "Our club." Her said to her calmly, trying to think of something else to say since clearly Mitsukuni was relying on him now. "We're putting something together for the new students.. Would you like to come?" He offered quietly.

Alice listened to what she had to say, and rubbed the back of her head. At the mention of being close to the twins, and Tamaki, she nodded lightly. "Hikaru and Kaoru where the first people who talked to me when I came to Japan as a child.. They let me inside their little world, all because I could tell them a part, and understood their loneliness. Tamaki on the other hand, I practically grew up with him. " She said, hiding her slight blush.

Allen tilted his head, having caught an all too familiar scent. Then he noticed Kaneko's change in behavior. She was scared, and not just because of the squirrel. He tensed when he branch break and instinctively pulled Kaneko behind him to show his protection. The mande voice didn't sound familiar, and at least they were far enough away from the cabin where this man couldn't figure out where they actually lived. "You smell like that man.. If you're here for her, you'll have to go through me first." He said to the man quite seriously. He promised her they would be safe.. And her damned father sent someone to track her! So much for living in peace. He should have known better than to make that promise!

Allen tilted his head some when she spoke. Pine trees? No wonder they had a noticeable scent. He lowered his head some when she started rambling about Christmas Trees and then mentioned loving Christmas. What was Christmas? He shook his head and smirked lightly. "No need, it's fine." He said quietly . Allen couldn't remember ever celebrating such an day.. Vampires didn't have the right to hold Christmas, his master told him once. Allen was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Kaneko gasp, and then mention a squirrel. His eyebrows furrowed together some. Blood? He'd know that scent anywhere. "I think it's injured.. Keep your eyes out for another animal, or someone." He spoke calmly, trying to see if there was anyone or anything close enough for him to smell from here. Weren't these woods protected from hunters though?

Takashi nodded lightly to her question, in agreement with his cousin. He mentally smoked though, having an idea what the younger boy was thinking as he introduced them both to the girl. "We were in the first class together." He said casually, before leading the way to their class.

Alice rolled her eyes at the twins and got up to sit in the desk next to Haruhi. She nodded lightly to her question, and watched her classmate. Was this person really a boy? She wondered silently. "Yeah, officially. I've been in France most of my life, except for my childhood." That's around the time she met the twins. The winter of her first year in Japan.

Maddie blinked and stared at his pinkie finger for a moment before smiling and linking their pinkies together. Just like back then. A pinkie promise, was something that couldn't be broken. That's something he told her as children. Did he even remember? Slowly pulling back her hand, she nodded lightly. "I'm fine.. I don't even know why the waterworks turned on like that.. Sorry.. " She murmured sheepishly and finished up her lunch. "Are you off for the day, or do you have to go back? " She asked curiously, not really having knowledge of how his schedule worked.

Allen nodded lightly to her words. At least she had calmed down a bit, she didn't seem as nervous now. He did pout a little she said she didn't really see anything but never-ending trees. What kind of trees? Were there flowers? What did the sky look like here? Was there any snow? These were the answers he was seeking, but he didn't push. At least he knew there were a lot of trees around. "Trees.. A sea of trees, huh?" Allen spoke casually. He lifted his head a bit at the sounds of the birds chirping and leaves rustling in the slight breeze. Not enough to feel it though. At the mention of the lake, he nodded and easily followed her.

Takashi blinked. It was her, the new student. He slowly lowered down some and held a hand out to help her up. "We're going that way too." He said casually, glancing up at his cousin a bif, then back down to Mia. "Mia, right?" He asked calmly.

Jeez! Was the first day always like this? Alice was happy that the boys were acting as a shield though. "You don't have to say it like that~" She said quietly, as an attempt to tease the younger brother. She could still tell them a part, thank goddness! She blinked and glanced at Haruhi, giving a shy smile. A little confused, but she somewhat understood. When they managed to make it the classroom, Alice sat down and sighed. "We made it!"
