Maddie blinked when he spoke, just taking the last nite of her pasta dish. She swallowed, and took a drink from her water. "I'll be fine. I won't open the door, or leave. I might just stay in my room and read honestly." She said, offering him a small smirk. She sighed some and shook her head. "You're not being nosy, you're just worried.. Clint, I feel the same way you know. I don't want to hear something happened to you at work.." She murmured quietly, setting her hands on the table. "Let me..peek inside your future.. Please?" Maddie said to him softly, sharing a look of worry.

Really, the only way to truly kill a vampire was to strike their heart, or take off their heads. Kaneko had pierced the man's heart directly, so unless some higher power had reason to collect his ashes and bring him back, he wouldn't be coming back.
Once Kaneko had sat on the bed next to him, he stirred some as if feeling her presence even in his slumber. Snow filled his black sleep and brought peace to his uneasy mind, until it began to bleed red. Why? Perhaps because he had finally committed a vampire's sin, drinking an innocent humans blood.

Maddie liked seeing him smile, it meant he wasn't worrying about her or other things. It made her feel like she did something right. She happily ate, and listened to him talk a little bit about his job. He worked on cars, right? If she remembered the place she first met him the other night. She shook her head some and swallowed the food in her mouth before taking a sip from her water. "No reason really.. I was just making sure I was remembering right. " She said casually, taking a bite from her fork.

Allen was still sound asleep. The blanket had been draped down beneath his head and it looked like he had moved around some in his sleep. No nightmares nor pleasant dreams, just blackness. Which in itself made him uneasy. He'd much rather have one or the other, compared to having a black sleep.

Maddie nodded lightly when he asked if she slept well. "It was a relatively nice nap, yes." She said, offering him a small smirk incense didn't smile all that often. Maddie glanced down at the dish and poked at it as well, before taking a bite from her fork. Chicken and shrimp pasta before rain came, nice. It was tasty enough as well . She chewed and swallowed and nodded lightly. "It's pretty good, and it was a good idea." She complimented his cooking and continued to eat. She blinked as if thinking something and. glanced at him, swallowing a mouthful of her dinner. "Oh yeah, you mentioned having work tomorrow right?" Maddie asked curiously .

Allen nodded lightly and slowly laid down in the bed, resting his head on the pillow. When he began to feel the effects, he brought the blanket up over his head some and tensed for a moment before slowly faded from the world around him and into slumber once more.
By the time he would wake again, it'd probably be later that evening. After the stars were already glimmering in the night sky.

Maddie slept until she heard Clint call her. She woke and sat up, stretching some. "Water's fine." She called back to him. She shuffled through some of her stuff, put what needed to be in the bathroom in the bathroom cabin. She took out Clint's toothbrush and toothpaste and set it aside in the bed for now, before going and joining him. Maddie walked down the hallway, covering her mouth to yawn again. "I sorta fell asleep.." She murmured, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly before going and sitting at the table. Whatever it was, it smelled really good!

"Thank-you." Allen murmured when she agreed to put the things back into the bag. He listened for a moment , and while she was distracted, he shot back the remedy. He shuddered some as the mixture hit his sensitive taste buds and made its way down his throat. He lowered his head and offered her a small smile when she spoke and nodded lightly. "Thank you.. You are free to wander the manor if you wishs, just please stay out of the opposite wing." Allen spoke quietly , waiting.for the remedy to take its effect.

Maddie was quiet as he turned and left to start on dinner. She was fun to talk to..? Was he teasing her, or being serious? After she was sure he was in the kitchen, she plopped over on the bed and laid down, curling up in a ball. It was foolish to think normal people could remember that far back.. Why did he have to tease her about it? It hurt.. They had new memories, and could always make more.. So, why was trying to cling to their past selves? Why couldn't she let go of the past? Either as children, or even adults, Clint had found his way into her world. Only now, she didn't know how far he was willing to follow her. Would he be willing to fall down the rabbit hole, for her sake? Her thoughts slowly faded as the Maddie fell asleep.

Heh. He was right about that, and she felt silly for even bringing it up. She was probably one of the few girls he actually talked to. Those childhood memories of them were precious to her though, so of course she remembered. "Yeah you're right.. I'm being silly." She vaguely smiled and went back to going through her bags to see what she'd needed pretty immediately. Normal people didn't usually think that far back in time.

Allen listened and held the glass securely when it was given to him. Normally he didn't use so much of that liquid, seeing how he didn't have much of it. But he also didn't have anything to.mix it with, so what choice did he really have? He stayed perfectly still, and absolutely silent while Kaneko followed his instructions. Allen exhaled some when she voiced that she was finished, and nodded lightly. "Alright." He spoke quietly. "Please put everything back into the bag, or on the table." It didn't matter where right now, it just needed to be moved. "After that, feel free to order something to eat if you'd like. Have them send it here. I'm afraid I won't be ready to leave for a bit.." He said to her quietly. He'd take this, probably experience the after effects and fall back asleep for x-amount of hours.

(I know! <3 )
Her multicolored blue eyes widen slightly at the answer. She was right! A small smirk tugged at her lips and she couldn't help giggling quietly. She caught him reading it once, and she may have teased him. "Do.. Do you remember ever having a girl ask you about it?" She asked hesitantly. Granted, her question wasn't very specific, but maybe she'd be onto something.

He listened to the sound of the herbs being roughly grinded further. It wasn't very pleasing to his ears, but it was bearable. While he was at it, he went fishing into the bag once more. Did he have any more 'wine' to mix this with when it was finished? He had no idea, probably not though. Which meant he'd have to add more of that clear stuff and drink it straight. Crap. Well.. They wouldn't be leaving right away. When she spoke, he slowly held up the shot glass. "Move the dust into this, and then take the vial and fill it about a 1/4." He instructed.

(Yep, it's really the only one I wanted x3 if I can manage, I might get the others before the event is over)
She blinked. Pet Cemetery? Wait, wait, wait.. Now she was certain this was the same Clint as all those years ago. "H-hey.. Did you ever bring it to school as a kid, to read it?" She asked curiously, catching him right before he left the room. Well, maybe not read it.. But maybe she was remembering right. Hopefully.
