Allen wore the face of a child who had gotten caught sneaking into the cookie jar when he heard her words. Yes, he was thirsty. Even if he did have the heart to ask her, which he didn't.. He was certain that after dealing with his master, she was more than likely terrified of being bitten. If you were careful, it didn't really hurt unless you forcibly bit someone- like how his master bit him. That man wanted it to hurt so he would feel dominant. Was it morning after all? He really couldn't tell. Heh.. It was then he realized he still wasn't wearing a shirt, and shyly lowered his head. He fell asleep before Kaneko could give him a shirt. "In my wardrobe.. I have some shirts, could you please bring me one?" He asked, not being too sure how much moving around he could do with the stitches being just fixed up.He was also thinking about he could do about his little "issue". Speaking of which, it was time to make his remedy again wasn't it? He was rather surprised his eyes weren't bothering him.. How many days had he gone without taking it? At least or three, right? Allen didn't really want to wait until his eyes did start bothering him- but if he made it and took it now, he'd be asleep for another few hours. What to do?

Maddie shook her head at his apology and offered him a small smirk. The way he was looking at her, made her think something was wrong with her hair, but she easily pushed the thought aside. This was how she liked her hair, bangs included. Longer bangs made i harder for people to see her multi-colored eyes. Maddie followed him out of the house and waited by the car while he locked up. She was totally excepting him to open the door for her, but was thankful when he did- it showed he really was a gentleman. She slid into the seat, buckled herself in and closed the door. The last time she was in his car, he was taking to her a homeless shelter, and her arm had been injured. Her arm was still wrapped, but it didn't really hurt, maybe she could unwrap it? It had only been a few days though.. right? Thinking nothing of it, she just relaxed in the seat and looked out of the window.

Allen chuckled quietly when he heard her faint voice. "Good morning." He said calmly, even though he was certain it wasn't morning at all. It was a figure of speech, right? Seeing how they just woke up after a long rest.. He slowly nodded his head when she spoke, and quietly listened to her attack of questions, sounding a quiet chuckle. He placed a delicate hand on top of her head and offered her a small smile. "It's quite alright.." He said in response to her giggled apology. She was just worried about him, it was normal. "I slept peacefully. I'm not in any current pain, but I haven't tried getting up yet, and hungry isn't quite the right word.." He answered each of her questions calmly as he slowly began sitting up. "How about you, lady Kaneko? Are you hungry?" He asked her out of concern.

Allen continued to sleep peacefully as the woman curled up beside him and fell asleep as well. He didn't do much as dream the entire time he slep, only moving enough to lightly deal over Kaneko's frame at some point. He didn't know what time it was when he woke, but it felt like early evening. How could he tell? Years of practice. His eyes slowly opened, but he didn't move. He felt a warm body next to him, and caught the all too familiar sweet scent of the woman he cared deeply about. He didn't want to move.. He didn't want to risk disturbing her while she slept, if she even asleep. He was hungry though.. He could feel the tips of his fangs poking his lips ever so slightly, but it enough to tell him that he needed to hunt soon. What if Kaneko was hungry when she woke up? He didn't really have any good around.. He had some, but not much.

Maddie couldn't hide her smile when he agreed to let her learn how to wash her own clothes. She blinked when he mentioned getting going, and pointed to the towel on her head, then held up a single finger and scurried off back to the bathroom, as if asking him to give her a minute. She closed the door and unwrapped the towel from her head, allowing her long moist hair to fall around her head and shoulders unevenly. Quickly, she ran her fingers through her hair like a comb until her hair looked a bit neater, then she took what hair was on her fingers and put it in the small garbage can. Her red bangs barely coming above her eyes, and her black hair draping over the top of her shoulders. Briefly glancing in the mirror, she hung up her towel and left the bathroom to meet Clint in the living room. "Okay, ready. And yeah, we can do the clothing shopping firsf, I won't take too long." She said to him casually.

A small smile graced his thin lips when she answered.him so casually. She'd come back getting everything from outside, like he didn't even need to ask. He did though. He slowly closed his milky eyes and listened to her footsteps tip -toeing across his wooden floor. Sooner than he'd ever care to admit, he lost himself in a deep pool of sleep. Maybe it was because he had his one most important person with him. She always seemed to put him at ease, somehow or another, when he needed it most.
He was fast asleep by the time Kaneko had come back inside and set down her things, before climbing into bed with him. Allen didn't stir much, except to smile some in his sleep. It was like he knew she was there with him.

Maddie blushed a little when he chuckled, kind of acting like a child who was caught trying to dress up in mommy or daddy's clothes for the first time. She quietly followed him to the laundry room and listened to his words before going and dropping her clothes in the laundry bin. Note-to-self, need an extra laundry bin.. "Honesty, I'd like to learn how to wash my own clothes.. There's no reason why you should have to wash my clothes as well, but it doesn't really matter to me." She said truthfully, and it didn't matter to her. If he wanted to do it, then we'll she'd let him do it, but she would've liked to learn for herself in how to do it.

No pleasant ones, that was for sure. If he could see her face, or read minds like others, he could tell what she was thinking. All he could hear was his feet, the occasional cracking or crunching from him stepping on something broken, and Kaneko's feet lightly stepping on the creaking floorboards. It was then that it dawned on him that she wasn't wearing shoes. Why hadn't he noticed sooner? Oh well maybe because he was too busy getting soft and mushy over what had happened when they got here! He mentally kicked himself. Easily finding his way to his bed, he carefully got under the covers and laid down. "After you retrieve our things.. Will you join me, please? I'll certainly rest easier with you by my side." He wouldn't force her though, never. It was a simple question.

Maddie enjoyed her much needed shower. She washed up, thinking about how the world she was going to pull this off. Homeless people didn't go shopping! Maybe it would be better if he came in with her..and just let her do the more feminine buying herself. Like bras and panties. It wouldn't hurt to have him around for the other shopping, right? Shaking her head, she slapped herself with some water and sighed. Shop lifting wasn't much different than shopping, right? The only difference was she could take her time to decide on what she wanted and she wasn't stealing it.
Soon enough she was turning off the water, grabbing a towel to dry off with and then dressed herself in Clint's clothes. What to do with her clothes.. Wrapping the towel around her head and hair, she picked up her bundle of clothes and headed into the living room,.

Listening to her, maybe he had confused her. That side of the hallway belonged to the man they killed. His room was down the hall from his study, on the other hallway. It was a big place after all, and trying to explain where one room down two hallways could be quite confusing. "No, it's alright. We don't need to go that way.. Remember where my study is? My room is down passed it, at the end of the other hallway. I'm sorry if I have said something incorrect or confusing. " He tried explaining in hopes of not confusing or troubling her further. Allen could tell she was only concerned for him, "Here, let me take lead." He offered, holding her hand and easily guiding down her towards his study. He did know this place like the back of his hand after living here so long. Allen walked passed his study and came to stop in front of a closed door, slowly reaching out a hand and turning the knob to open to the door.
The room was a decent size room. In it a tall antique dresser with two wooden doors, his wardrobe. Beside it was a long dresser with six drawers, three stacked on top of each other, and a small cubby in the center, two tall, shattered mirrors propped on the back, and a full sized bed in the center of the room. Broken lamps and glass from the shattered mirrors littered the room, among other things from days of throwing or breaking things out of pain or anger. "Please watch your step." He said before carefully leading her into his messy room.

(xD I can't wait to see how this turns out)
Maddie tried not to blush anymore, nodding lightly and following like he had said. And there she waited like he said, as he went to get her some clothes to borrow. Wait.. There was a bathroom in each bedroom? How did that happen? Most houses either had a bathroom in the master bedroom, and one closer to the second bedroom. Or if their was multiple bedrooms, more than one bathroom. But still only a bathroom in a room was the master bedroom. The hell did he do to get a bathroom in every bedroom? She's blinked when he came back and handed the clothes. "Oh, okay." She murmured quietly to his words, then went into the bathroom and turned on the light before closing and locking the door.
She sighed some and set the clothes on the side of the sink, then turned the water in and figured out which knob put out hot and cold water. Once the temperature of the water was right, she stripped down and stepped into the shower, closing the curtains.

Allen easily, and happily followed her up the old creeky staircase. The sound of the floorboards only making him slightly uneasy. Someday, these floorboards would finally fall through. He wouldn't be around for it though. Especially not after today.. He lifted his head some in response to Kaneko's voice and nodded. "It's down the hall some from my study." He answered casually, briefly moving his milky eyes to the opposite side of the hall, where he had told Kaneko not to go during the tour. He didn't even visit that hall. That was where.. Allen lowered his head some and pushed the thoughts aside. It's not like it mattered now. The man was dead, he'd never walk out of his own room ever again, but Allen didn't want it to disturbed either.

Allen smiled more at her giggle, and her words about his room. He nodded lightly she spoke her worries about his stiches and his smile softened. If course she was worried about them reopening again if they left right away. He might have to pop into a hospital before they left for good.. Or visit one after they left.. He wasn't sure yet, but he was certain the one here would remember him from the day he left, and didn't want any problems. Maybe it would be better to wait.. He wondered silently. His mind was pulled away from his thoughts when he felt Kaneko's forehead resting against his own. Allen listened to her soft words and smiled once more. She believed him. He would keep her safe, not the other way around or maybe it could go both ways. They could keep each other from harm. It sounded more dangerous in his mind, but he had learned that Kaneko could be almost as stubborn as himself.
Allen nodded lightly and slowly got up from the chair, careful not to stand too quick or knock her back. "Yes, alright." He said calmly.

Maddie blinked and briefly looked up at him when he spoke, curious if the new found seriousness he had. "R-right.." She said, getting up from the table. He was right, and she figured he wouldn't want her to be all alone anytime soon. "Thank you for the options, it might be best if you waited outside the store though.." Maddie said, finally calming down and feeling the heat leave her face. " So.. I'd like to take a shower first, since I'm going to be putting on clean clothes. " She said, rubbing her forearm. He'd need to get a set of clothes for her too, if she was really going to be wearing his cloth for this.
