"A good walk'll solve that." Ryker told him.

"Let's get outside and stretch our legs some." he finished, stepping out of the RV.

He then took a deep breath, and exhales.

"Ahhhh!" he said.

"Feels GOOD!"

Cain had to hold back his instinct to comment on how cute her 'yay' was, but he succeeded.

"Right." he said.

"Which means this is even weirder." he commented.

"Hm." he mumbled.

"Anyway, I'm going to get your visor and phone and stuff, and help you downstairs." he told her.

"Set you up in the den, and get Leo here sooner, hopefully."

Ryker smiled again.

"It is." he said.

"But I'll find us a nice spot, and we'll set up camp." he told him.

"And we can fry up some fish and eat in the good ol' outdoors." he went on.

"Sound good?"

"....ah, right then." Cain said.

"In order." he chuckled.

"I certainly can." he answered her.

"And all right. I'll call him on your cell and see about it." he told her.

"And oh?" he asked.

"You doubt it? Why?" he asked her.

"It's entirely possible some of those mixtures combined and reacted in weird ways." he reasoned.

"Yeah." Ryker replied.

"Like, canned flaked tuna or salmon." he told him.

"Mix it up with some sauces and celery, make salmon or tuna salad." he said.

"And a fillet? Cool." he went on.

"Want to set up at a nearby camping ground?" he asked.

Cain just chuckled.

"I can do that, for sure." he said.

"What kind?" he asked.

"Cinnamon, Blueberry, or Chocolate Chip?" he asked further.

"Also, do you want to see if Leo can get here earlier?" he then asked her.

"Just let me know if there's anything I can do to help." he went on.

"...also, sorry if this was because of me." he added at the end.

Cain looked at the clock once more.

"It's... almost 9 in the morning." he told her.

"I was just wondering for the sake of curiosity." he said.

He then sighed again, and shook his head.

"Well... what now?" he asked.

"Want something to eat? Or want to lay down again?"

Cain felt himself blush slightly, before sighing.

"All right." he said.

"Here we go." he told her.

The two of them then disappeared in black mana, appearing back at Cain's house, in his room.

Once they were there, he set her down on the bed and turned on the light... even though it wouldn't benefit her.

"When is Leo supposed to come by?" he asked.

"Right." Cain responded.

"Got it." he said.

Once they were close to each other, he was silent, before biting his lip slightly.

"....forgive me." he muttered.

Then, before she could ask, he lifted her up in his arms.

"Sorry." he apologised.

"This will make it easier for teleporting the both of us." he explained.

"Got it." Cain responded.

"See you in a few." he told her, before the call was ended.

Sure enough, within 3 minutes, he was at their front door and used his key to get inside. He made his way to the den, seeing Lunet on the couch.

"Yo." he greeted her.

"Sorry about the awkwardness with the call earlier-" he started to say, before pausing.

"Wait..." he said.

"Did something happen?" he asked her.

"I think I see a new bruise or two..." he commented, sounding very concerned now.

Ryker was silent for a moment... before smirking.

"Yep." he said.

"I did." he told him.

"Also did get some fish." he went on.

"Some fillets and some canned." he continued.

"You have quite a bit to choose from."

"Ahhh, I see." Cain replied.

He was thankful that was all that had happened, he was worried that something might have gone wrong, or worse.

"Anyway, you're going to need help getting back." he said.

"And it's clear that your father isn't home." he continued.

"Want me to stop by and pick you up?" he asked.

"Bring you back so you can meet with Leo and stuff?"

When she listened, she heard nothing.

Nothing but the sounds of the house. A ticking of a clock here, a creaking of a settling board there. Nothing unusual.

She was home alone right now.

Which meant that her father was most definitely either in Wales with her mother, or that he was already at work. Regardless, he wasn't there.

That meant that he wouldn't see her like this right away, and demand answers... but it ALSO meant that she really didn't have any way to get back to Cain's, where she could meet Leo and get her visor working again.

Meanwhile, on Cain's side, that thought had just occurred to him.

".....uhhh.... crap." he muttered.

"Do I call her?" he wondered. "No, her phone's still HERE. Maybe call their home phone? But if her father's there, he'll DEFINITELY know what's up." he went on. "But by now, if he were home, wouldn't he know already? Why hasn't he called or come here? Is he waiting for ME to call, and if I do, I'm springing a trap?" he continued to ask himself, starting to grow panicked, before shaking his head.

"No. If that IS the case, I need to face the music." he sighed.

He then grabbed his cell phone, and called Hal and Lunet's home phone number.

"Sorry." Ryker apologised.

"Got caught up concentrating on driving and gathering things." he said.

"And you're hungry?" he asked.

"Well, for what?" he asked further.

"Meat? Fish? Fruit or veg? Something else?" he asked him.

"Plenty to eat that I just picked up."
