Cain just laughed.

"All right." he said.

He then set down some butter, some syrup, some whipped cream, various fruits, and some powdered sugar.

"There you go." he told her.

"Oh!" he then said, snapping his fingers.

"What do you want to drink?" he asked her.

Cain just smiled.

"You're welcome." he replied, looking over towards her.

"Ah, one of your older ones. Haven't seen that in a while." he commented.

"Anyway, how hungry are you?" he asked, stacking up about 6 thick and fluffy waffles.

"And what do you want for toppings and such?" he asked further.

"I can pretty much guarantee we have... whatever you want." he chuckled.

Ryker looked over and saw the creek as well.

"Hm." he muttered.

"Well?" he asked Eke.

"What do you think?" he asked further.

"Set up here or move along somewhere else?"

Leo nodded in response.

"I'll take a look." he said.

"Waffles are done!" Cain then called out.

"Go ahead." Leo told her.

"I'm not hungry right now." he chuckled.

"Stuff your face to your hearts content."

"Hey, no problem." Leo responded.

"Oh yeah, want me to work on the OTHER visor?" he asked.

"You know, the original reason I was to come see you." he added with a chuckle.

"What was wrong with it that it needed servicing?" he asked her.

"I may be able to see whatever it is, and fix it up so it'll be ready to go when you're... well, grown-up again." he laughed.

"It's the black and purple one." Leo told her.

"One of the... more recent older models." he continued.

"Anyway, that SHOULD interface without any issues." he told her.

Sure enough, when she turned it on, there was a bit of a delay... but it booted up, and she could see just as well as with her other visor.

"How is it?" Leo asked.

"Any issues?"

Leo grimaced a little when he heard that.

"Yeah..." he mumbled, before getting to work.

Just the two of them could smell the sweet aroma of waffles in the air, Leo spoke.

"All right..." he mumbled.

"I think I got this." he said.

"I'll attach it, and we'll see if it works." he told her.

"Ready?" he asked.

"I get it." Leo responded.

He then used his mana and did a brief scan of her body, causing a bit of a tingling sensation all throughout her.

"...huh." he mumbled.

"Well, seems like everything in there is still functioning and all right." he commented.

"Just need to set up one of the older visors to interface with you." he went on.

"Are you all right?" he then asked. "Other than... well... the obvious."

"....." Leo was silent, before chuckling.

"You always know how to look on the bright side." he said.

"Because yeah, you are." he agreed.

He then sat down beside her, and looked her over.

"Right." he said.

"I'll do a small scan." he told her.

"See if everything's still working correctly inside you." he continued.

"THEN see about hooking up an earlier model."

"All right." Cain responded.

"I'll get to work." he told her.

With that, he left the room, and Lunet was left to her own devices.

And about 20 minutes later, there was a knock on the door.

"It's Leo!" they heard a voice call in.

"Door's open! Lunet's in the den!" Cain called back.

Lunet then heard the door open, and heard footsteps towards her... before they suddenly stopped.

"L... Lunet...?" Leo stammered.

"I was preparing myself for this, but... yeah, this still shocked me..." he admitted, before getting closer towards her.

"All right." Cain replied.

"I'll get to work on the waffle batter." he told her.

"...man, thank the stars Mom and Dad are both out on missions right now." he went on.

"LOTTA questions would be asked..." he mumbled.

"Anyway, want me to put on the TV or something?" he asked.

"...and by that, I mean something that you can still listen to, like the news or something." he clarified.

"Or are you good?"

".........." Leo was silent for a moment.

"I... uh..." he stammered.

"Yeah." he said.

"Yeah, I can show up sooner, with an older model." he went on.

"I can put two and two together, but... well... know what? We'll talk when I get there." he continued.

"I can be there in... 20 minutes or so."

".......yeah...." Cain mumbled.

With that, he helped her downstairs, with her stuff, before thinking a moment.

"Actually..." he said.

"I'll dial the number and you can talk to him." he told her.

"It'd be better to hear it from you directly." he went on.

"While you're doing that, I'll set to making breakfast." he continued.

With that, he dialled the number on her phone, and when Leo answered, he said Lunet needed to talk to him, and handed her the phone.

"Lunet?" Leo said when she answered.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"......" Cain was silent for a moment.

"Oh..." he said.

"Oh geez... I... yeah, I didn't... hm?' he mumbled.

"I'll actually call him ASAP." he told her.

"Get him to come here ASAP." he went on.

"See if something can't be done."
