"No." Ashley replied, shaking his head.

With that, he left the room and made his way to the front door. He quietly stepped outside, and slipped into the forest that surrounded the meadow.

It was then that Aimee saw how skilled Ashley was.

His presence seemed to almost disappear completely, and even she had a hard time keeping up with him... and the animals were blissfully unaware.

It was clear that he was going for one of the deer as well.

"No problem." Ashley replied.

"Just tell me what you'd like." he said.

"Some of the deer, rabbit, bear, you name it." he told her.

"Or does it matter?" he then asked.

"...or, also, there anything you DON'T want?"

"Well, I can hunt." Ashley replied.

"I can take down almost anything." he said.

"Well... as long as it's not too big, or has weird abilities." he then clarified.

"I can't take down a runed-claw bear, but I CAN take down the average bear, and anything smaller than that." he went on, before looking out the window again.

"There's some black-antler deer out there, too." he added.

"That's nice of him." Ashley responded.

"A bed'll be nice to sleep on." he said.

"....." he was then silent, before looking at Aimee.

"Do you eat animals?" he asked.

"Which is to say, do you need someone to hunt animals for food for you?" he then clarified.

"That makes sense." Ashley replied.

"When you're not facing the cliff, there's the nice meadow stretching out there." he said.

"Lots of animals, too." he went on.

"They all look so happy to be out and free and with their own kind." he said further.

"Do you like animals, too?" he then asked her.

Uriel watched her go, before sighing.

"Damn it all." he cursed quietly.

He then disappeared from where he was, as Aimee made her way to Ashley.

Ashley was still in the room, and was still looking out the window, taking in the scenery.

"Wow..." he muttered.

"Such a beautiful view."

"I know." Uriel responded.

"I'll have one here within an hour." he told her.

"There anything else?" he asked.

"Or shall I get to it and leave you to some quality time with Ashley?"

Uriel smiled in response.

"Yeah, you truly are a good person." he said.

"I can understand where you're coming from.' he said further

"Hopefully you can help him." he continued.

"He's hiding deep secrets." he told her. "And I don't just mean his family name."

"Good." Ryker replied.

"That's what matters." he said.

"You get some sleep." he told him.

"I'll make sure you're safe while you do so." he assured him further.

He then sighed, and placed a hand on Eke's head, ruffling his hair lightly.

Ryker looked towards where the stitches were, and sighed.

".......hm." he muttered.

"I... damn, I don't know what to do about those stitches." he admitted.

"We might need to seek medical attention in another town or city." he said further.

"...assuming you can make it until then."

Uriel looked over towards Aimee, and thought for a moment.

"Hm." he muttered.

"Yeah." he said.

"I think I know where I can get one." he told her.

He was then silent, crossed his arms over his chest, and looking in the direction of the room Ashley was in.

"...taken to him, huh?" he asked.

"I'm guessing because you identify with his being without a home?" he asked further.

"...that... and being a good person and all..." he then added.

Ashley looked at Aimee and smiled.

"All right." he replied.

"I'm glad I can be of use." he told her.

He then looked around the room again, before making his way towards the window, and peering out.

"Woooow." he said.

"Lovely view." he commented.

"It'll be really nice to have an actual window to look out of."

Ryker just smirked as Eke laid down.

He sat down close to him, leaning against one of the trees, and made sure his lap was there in case Eke wanted to snuggle into it.

"Just rest." he said.

"You might recover quickly, but you still need time to recover." he reasoned.

"So just relax, and drone out the world."

Ashley shook his head.

"This is more than fine." he said.

"This is perfect." he told her.

"Thank you very much." he said further, looking around the room.

"....you sure this is all right?" he asked her.

"I mean, I'm not imposing on you or anything?"
