Uriel was silent for a moment, choking on his words.

"I..." he stammered, before exhaling loudly.

"I do." he said.

"I mean... we're all but a couple now." he told her.

"But... well... I'm scared." he admitted.

"What if Gabriel actually decides to cut her down?" he asked.

"Thank you." Uriel replied as he took a seat as she had offered.

"...." he was then silent for a moment, and then sighed.

"What... what do you think of archangels and relationships?" he asked.

"Are we... deserving of such?" he asked her further.

"Or should we be barred from pursuing such things?"

Ryker blocked the entrance back up with the bookcase, and quickly followed Eke.

"Uh... question." he said.

"How did you know this was here?" he asked him.

"And where are we going?" he asked further.

"Don't get me wrong, away from the authorities is a good thing, but I AM wondering what the destination is."

"........." Uriel was silent, before he entered the room that the door led to.

"Hello?" he said.

"Look, I know this is probably a bother..." he said further, as the door closed behind him.

"But... I need to talk to... well... anyone." he went on.

"And you're probably the best option there is."

Ryker made his way to the door, and sighed again.

"Stand back." he said.

He then grabbed the door, and pulled on IT as well, straining his power-enhanced muscles, until the door came off its hinges, nearly causing him to fall on his back.

"No time to worry about property damage." he said.

"Go in, I'll pull the case back over the opening as we go." he told him.

Steff shook his head.

"Naw, don't worry about it." he said.

"You have enough to worry about as is." he told her with a small sigh, as he sat up.

"I just wish I could help." he muttered further.

Meanwhile, Uriel had made his way to the large fountain in the front yard of his 'home', and looked at the flowing water.

"...maybe I should talk to the boss..." he mumbled.

"I need to talk to SOMEONE, and my brothers will be NO help..."

Uriel just sighed, as Steff suddenly spoke up.

"He might not, as well." he said.

"There's a chance he won't judge Yuri by his brothers." he told them.

"I hope so." Uriel responded.

"..........." he was then silent, before looking at Aimee.

"I'll be right back." he told her, disappearing in a pillar of light, and appearing in front of the house he and his brothers shared.

"Ugh, I need to figure this out." he growled to himself.

Ryker made his way to what Eke was trying to move, and grabbed it.

As he struggled to pull it, the power within him flowed into his arms, expanding his muscles as they bulged out considerably... and then the bookcase moved.

"Ngh!" he grunted as he pulled at it.

"Let... me know... when it's... good."

"Huh?" Ryker muttered, as he watched what Eke was doing.

"Uh.... Eke?" he asked.

"What's... what are you doing?" he asked him.

"Seriously, I'm a bit on the confused side." he admitted further.

He then looked around, wondering what Eke's plan was.

Ryker looked back at Eke.

"Come on!" he called to him.

"I'll carry you down the stairs, we just need to get moving." he said.

"We can talk about this later if you feel the need to, but we need to get our asses outta here." he continued.

"And we need to find a place to disappear to." he went on.

"Find somewhere to lay low until we can skip town."

The hallways were empty, as it seemed like staff had taken to hiding, and the other patients had been advised to stay in their rooms, and remain quiet.

"Let's use the emergency exit." Ryker suggested.

"Odds are the police have either already been called, or are about to be." he said. "So if we trigger the emergency alarm, eh." he added with a shrug.

"Come on." he told Eke as he started to quickly make his way down the hall.

"We got a couple flights of stairs to get down."

Ryker was silent for a moment, and then sighed.

"Welp, I guess it's time for us to check out." he said.

"Odds are if we stay here, the authorities are gonna get involved." he told him.

He then got up, and stretched out.

"Let's move, and let's move quickly." he suggested.

"Eke." Ryker interjected.

"Please." he said.

"All they want is for you to recover." he told him.

"They don't mean to hurt you." he continued, but it was too late.

The staff were officially scared, and were scrambling out of the room in a panic.

"Quite frankly, I think that went as well as it could have." Uriel responded.

"Archangels already have a reputation for those that know about us at all." he told her.

"And he's already met one of us... which isn't really that good." he continued.

"Combine that with the fact that it was the condescending one that probably acted like the act of beholding him was some sort of divine favour..." he went on, trailing off a little, and sighing.

"I think we're lucky he didn't outright say I was no good and bar you from associating with me." he finished.
