Like I could feel it in my heart of hearts all weekend.

I did see an unrelated incident on saturday night where a woman almost got attacked in my job's parking lot by these men pouring out of a big red truck (probably drunk for the holiday). I was in my car next to it and I pulled over to call our security. Wasn't about to wait and see if these guys actually get to this woman, but they're walking toward her car with their arms out in the "come at me" pose.
Well they saw me and shouted at me, but drove off. Probably saw my phone lol

But that wasn't it. My soul for the next couple days was still like "SOMETHING HAPPENING BRUH"

Monday I wasn't working but I just saw my coworkers posting the police report about this guy threatening to shoot up the store and everything. Stole a chromebook (of all things??? those kinda suck dude, not worth it)
Then I got a message from my coworker friend, this 18 year old kid that's the one who this crazy person was threatening! I don't know if the man actually had a gun, even if he was saying he did, but I can only imagine how scary this was for this kid. I feel so terrible that I wasn't there that day. At least I could've given him a hug :(
The man was saying "if you call the police I'll shoot up the place" according to the report, and one of the guys on our security team is like "jokes on that guy, HE didn't call the police ;D "

Thankfully no one got hurt and the man was captured at a hotel here, also having meth on him.
Based on what my other coworkers are saying, it sounds like our team did a great job handling the situation.

I was looking over my internship hours to help the clinic manager, since she's having some file issues. and it dawned on me that I'm not even half way through July yet and by the end of this week, I'll have 140 hours done! Out of the 186 hours that I need by September 19.
When I calculated everything I thought I'd be done a week or two before Sep 19, but I am SO ahead of my schedule that I might actually be done by August 18 :vanora_shock:

You know what that means?

I can sleep again soon!

That also means my graduation is guaranteed to be on time (assuming I don't flunk a class, but I'm at all A's so far lmao) which is something I had to fight real hard to even be able to do this. AND I get to rest a bit earlier than I thought! All my work is paying offffffff :vanora_cry: I'm so close!

I dont actually have any good cover designs so I dunno why I even have this up xD but yeah Teepublic prints in pretty good quality imo, so if I ever want my artwork on a tshirt, phone case, journal or anything like that if they offer it, I get it through them. They often have sales to make it cheaper too

I don't remember if I mentioned on here that I joined this FFXIV themed sticker exchange hosted by one of my favorite artists at the moment.
Well, I did, and already have about 21 people signed up for my catboy <3

Also I'm so glad I asked the host artist about good printing services cause
this one they referred me to, Sweet Stickers, is sooo good! The people are SO friendly and I love them, and the quality of the stickers is spot on

They also printed a big one as a bonus!


also photo quality isn't the best, I took this at night and my room's lighting isn't great ;D

That's kind of interesting! Yeah I'm definitely someone that would investigate weird things like that freezer lid jiggling. Meanwhile whoever is with me is usually scared shitless of ghosts and would bolt once we realize its something weird like that xD
I just start to giggle when I can't figure it out. Like "that's weeeeeeeeeeiiirddd"

Reminds me of some youtubers I used to watch a lot of. They set to film up in a snowy cabin so they can do silly things in the snow. Then it was late at night and I cant remember what they were doing, but one of them was outside on the deck and the others were inside filming, and he goes up to the window and then suddenly they all stop like, "wtf is this hand print??"
it was up by the guy's face, but it was the size of a toddler's hand, and they're like "no one's been in this cabin??????"

Their's could probably be easily explained if I knew full details
and obv they could be playing on it a bit like maybe the cabin was rented out in the past and that window didn't get cleaned ;D
But its still interesting to think about like, what if~?

I used to have recurring incidences of that when I lived in a house in florida. It wasn't the house that my family suspected to be haunted, but there was a hutch/writing desk thing that was in my room that came from a very horrible, evil old man that died. Was technically my great grandfather but everyone disowned him for being an abusive dick. He played around with witchcraft stuff so my parents are like "HE'S HAUNTING USSSS"
particularly me, who felt stalked, breathed on, pinched/grabbed, and couldn't look in mirrors without a random sense of fear and dread.
Then we tossed the thing and it all stopped.
For a skeptical mind, I could say it might've been a placebo to toss it ;D or maybe it was an angry hutch desk thing

Yeah I agree. Its a lot of fun to get that little thrill of "what just happened?" but there's usually a good debunk.
My mom was complaining to me yesterday because she keeps hearing weird noises in the house when we're the only ones home, and she thinks I brought a ghost with me by pissing it off at school (when I denied its existence again).

Right, I don't have a definitive answer of whether I believe in ghosts or not.
But I do definitely believe that many, if not most "weird incidences" are distorted a bit by the subconscious expecting it to be something supernatural.
Or expecting that something is there.

Exactly! WHich is why I get excited when weird things happen. People love talking about ghosts or "strange moments" so whenever I bring these things up like at my job, it becomes a series of campfire stories of all the weird things we've experienced xD
its fun. Lots of giggles, "oooo's" and "eehhhh's"
